Only been here once but I have to say I'm very impressed. I ordered 1 lb of clams, steamed rice and extra sauce to try for the first time. My total was $13. Every clam had the meat attached to the shell and they were open nice and wide for easy consumption. The bag also had 2 medium to large sized red potatoes and half a corn on the cob. The corn was ok (this isn't corn season so probably frozen) and the potatoes were cooked perfectly (not mushy and falling apart). Sauce was well seasoned, not too oily and very good. Even mild is spicy but tolerable for me and you can smell cumin. This sauce has to be my favorite from all the places of this type. Will definitely make a return visit and order for the family. my girlfriend and i came here sunday night (we ate at probably 5-6pm). the service was fine, workers were pretty friendly. the atmosphere was nice as well, everyone seemed to be enjoying their food and overall it seemed like a good place to get some dinner. my girlfriend got a seafood bag and i got some buffalo wings and fried rice. i only had a bite of the fried rice (i was pretty full off the corn and potato my girlfriend gave me) so i ate like 3 wings and took the rest home. at about 11 o'clock, i ate the rest of my wings, sharing 3 with my friends. in total i had 9 wings. at about 2 o'clock in the morning, i woke up with the worst stomach pain of my life. i was throwing up every 30 minutes from 2am-7am. didn't sleep all night. my girlfriend finally got me to sleep from 7-1pm but i woke up throwing up again. i was sick up until monday at like 3 in the morning . i had never experienced food poisoning before and i was too weak to even attempt to make an ER visit so i just had to sit in pain for 24 hours. i'm sure this doesn't happen often but i seen another review about a customer getting food poisoning but they said they would continue eating here (not sure why...). i'm sure the seafood is fine because my girlfriend was okay, she even ate some leftovers well after i ate my leftover chicken and she was perfectly fine. my girlfriend claimed my chicken did look pink but she didn't want to cause anything (she told me well after i had been throwing up for hrs but thats another story). i'm sure it was cross contamination or what have you on the kitchen staffs end of the restaurant but pls do better read more

So I gave this place a try about 9 months ago and been coming here at least twice a month since, I even introduced my family and a few friends to this place and they liked it too mostly because is empty most of the time so you don't have to wait to be seated and the food comes out fast. So we were pretty happy with this place bc the service was good and so were the prices. But now things have changed, service sucks and prices went up. The only time we get good service is when the Latina server is there, other than that you will be ignored the whole time and asking for service will make you feel as if you're bothering the server. They're even cheap with their lemons, we asked for more since we had 2lbs of shrimp and 1lb of mussels so 4 little slices of lemon that was brought was clearly not enough being that the food was extra salty that day and the server tells us that the owner doesn't let them give extra lemons but still brought us 2 more slices bc she was being nice...
