They did a great job with my repair and were done within about 20 minutes from start to finish. The crack is still somewhat noticeable but I expected that due to the size and shape. The windshield installed on my truck leaked water the causing some damage to my speaker system. To prevent further damage, I applied a small amount of regular glue to seal the leak temporarily. The next day, I returned to the facility during my lunch break to request a proper fix under the lifetime warranty. I was told by CSR John Manning and Manager Sam Martinez that my warranty was voided due to the glue application -- despite the fact that the glue was only used to mitigate the consequences of their poor installation. I also contacted Safelite's corporate office, but was again told that I had voided the warranty. This response is unacceptable. It implies that customers must allow water to damage their vehicle in order to preserve warranty coverage -- a position that is unreasonable and unfair. I am requesting: A full reinstallation of the windshield at no cost Inspection and repair of any water damage caused by the faulty installation Written clarification of your warranty policy regarding emergency mitigation actions taken by customers This situation has cost me time, money, and unnecessary stress. I trusted Safelite's reputation and warranty promise, and I expect accountability for the workmanship provided.

Not only was A-1 Auto Glass responsive to my messages, but their quote was significantly less expensive (less than their competition even after they offered me a $50 discount to hurry and book with them). A-1 Auto Glass delivers. You can either book an appointment to have your auto glass installed at their place, or they will conveniently come to you for a small additional fee. I took my car to them, and they had it done in 30 minutes. The man at the counter was friendly and helpful. Their waiting room is comfortable. If you go to them, be aware that while the address says McColl Road, the address has two rows of buildings, and A-1 Auto Glass is located on the one in the back, not facing McColl. From McColl, you will need to turn east onto E Beech or E Cedar Ave. then turn into the complex, the back (east) side of the second row. Each row has several businesses. When you reach A-1 Auto Glass the sign is quite visible and clear. I highly recommend A-1 Auto Glass!
