This place doesn't enforce social distancing or mask wearing. Many of the customers aren't wearing masks and they are lined up tightly to get in the restaurant and while shopping. Very diss appointed in CB. Guess the all mighty dollar is more important than respecting others, health and safety. I won't go back. read more

This was my first time at a Cracker Barrel, and boy was I impressed! I loved the ambiance and even more so...the food! I had some raspberry lemonade and the chicken and dumplings! Country cooking... but not as good as homemade. We came here for a birthday celebration and and got constantly passed over for a table for groups the same size. We'd probably still be standing there waiting, but one of our people mentioned this to a manager and we were seated after only 10 minutes more.... an hour wait, apparently Cracker Barrel has a new reservation system that nobody knows about. Keep on driving this Cracker Barrel is the worst we have ever had. Rock hard burnt cornbread, soggy biscuits, bland dried out chicken fried steak, dry chicken fried chicken, overly salty gravy, broccoli was clearly nuked in a microwave because it had the telltale burn marks on the stems. Tonight I have had the worst dinner experience ever we have had nothing but rude staff and poor customer service at 3 business in Cullman Alabama! We started this disappointing meal with the host taking us into a nearly deserted restaurant and seating us at a small 2 person table in a small doorway so every time someone walked by they had to rub against us to get by and when i asked the waitress if we could move to the next table over she told us no that the table was already closed for the evening just to have the same hostess to walk up at the same moment and set someone else at the table in question. Then when she brings our drinks we ask her for a straw she tells us it will be a minute for she has none on her we say ok and she walks away 20 minutes later she walks by throughout them on the table and keeps walking without saying a word 15 more minutes goes by and she shows up with our food and at this time she is still yet to smile or be polite and asks will there be anything else we smile and say that is fine and she walks away to never return until the end of our meal with our bill and to add insult to injury all the food was ice cold the only thing warm was the plates it was on now mind you the town we are from one of our family members is married to a manager of the Cracker Barrel there were we will see that there home office will hear about it! And the meal cost us over $30 never will be back to any of the restaurants unless this is fixed! read more

Stopped for a late dinner after being on the road 8 hours. I went in with low expectations but had a really nice meal. I had the haddock which was cooked perfectly, not greasy at all, and no heavy breading just a light sprinkle of cornmeal. It was surprisingly really good. I had sides of mashed potatoes, carrots and apples with corn muffins. All were good and service was great. It really was a pleasant break after a long day on the road. read more

This is the best Cracker Barrel I've ever been to. The staff is always friendly. The food comes out in a timely manner & is always delicious. The managers walk around greeting customers and making sure if everything is good. The servers are always attentive. I can see why this is one of the busiest Cracker Barrel's in the country. I have always liked Cracker Barrel as a place to go for breakfast on special occasions. Their food is always similar in taste at each restaurant, but I was surprised with this CB in Cullman. We came on a week day and around 9am, so the restaurant wasn't busy. We were immediately seated and server showed up at our table. She was very pleasant and cheerful. The food came within a reasonable time and everything was hot. Flavor was similar to other CB restaurants but for some reason was more flavorable. I will be stopping here again the next time I travel thru Cullman. read more

This is one of the older Cracker Barrel restaurants in Alabama or possibly the southeast. Some of the Yelp reviews complain about the store being laid out backwards. I don't know what the "layout" has to do with the price of tomatoes; but the service and food are always excellent and the staff is very friendly. Not surprising since Cullman is one of the friendliest places in the world. I have NEVER been disappointed when I chose Cullman Cracker Barrel. read more

It blows my mind that every Old CB I've been to the food is always cold so is the temp in the dinning room.

Each store has it's way of doing customer service. This store was needs to look at the table more frequently to achieve timely service.

We generally love Cracker Barrel, it's easy to know you can stop for a good meal and to walk around. We were so disappointed in this location. We arrived to find all of the parking for RVs and trailers were taken by individual cars. Then when we got our food our bacon was barely cooked and scrambled eggs were barely cooked. My daughter's salad was very wilted. Neither meal was cooked enough or fresh enough to eat. When mentioned to the waitress we were told that that had been happening today. We never were able to get a manager to talk to us. We were expected to pay $30 for a meal that was inedible. read more

okay so when we got here they confused us and made us go to the curbside line when they're also calling out names in the retail section. then they proceed to make us wait for an hour. its been an hour and this is disgusting. if you cant handle excessive amounts of orders, then dont even do curbside. its not my problem you cant handle the stress of it. this cracker barrel sucks and the employees are rude. read more

Haddock is too die for, seriously ! Things have changed for the better over all in all cracker barrels and Cullmans is clean friendly and more times than not really good food. A bit noisy, but worth it and not expensive. read more

We ordered our food, and asked, for our salads, to come before our food. My husband ordered the fried catfish dinner, and I ordered the country shrimp dinner. We both ordered dumplings, as a side. The salads came out a few seconds, before our food, not allowing ample time, to eat the salad, before the meal. Our plates liok2ed like a toddler had fixed them. The dumplings, were all over our plates! Everyone, in the world knows that dumplings is a soup/stew, and goes, in a bowl! Not Cracker Barrel, they put the soup, on our plate. My shrimp was soggy, from the soupy dumplings. My husband's bushpuppies were floating, in the dumplings. The waiter asked me if I, wanted him to separate my food! I, said....Ni sir. I, would like, for you to have it remade. He literally brought back the same food separated, into different containers, and dumplings were still stuck, to my shrimp, and at this time the food has gotten cold. He said is there anything else you need?. I, said yes, a manager! The manager asked why I didn't want it, and I told her. She got rude. I, then informed her the rest, of the free world knows to put SOUP, in a bowl. She said...oh yeah. She reluctantly offered, to remake it, and I told her no thank you, and take my food off the ticket. She removed my order off the ticket. This has been a horrible experience. I, was very nice, and they acted like I, was insane, for not wanting soup, on my fried shrimp.
