Waiting at the podium for a hot minute before anyone noticed us there. Food was ok, But waited on biscuit's for the entire meal and when i pointed out i hadn't got my ketchup the waitress Marissa M. had the worst attitude and was very dismissive about the fact we were waiting so long for the biscuits she even asked us if we wanted and tried to blame it on another person who brought out food out. All together quiet place to eat.

As full-time travelers living life on the road in our rolling home as missionaries, Cracker Barrel has become one of our go-to spots across the country--sometimes even doubling as our overnight stay! We've seen our fair share of locations, but this visit truly stood out. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by Michelle, our server, who was an absolute gem. Friendly, thoughtful, and genuinely kind, she made us feel right at home. Her service? Spot-on in every way. We were so impressed, we asked to speak to the manager--also named Michelle! Just as warm and welcoming, she seemed to radiate the same positive energy we felt throughout the restaurant. You could tell the whole team was in sync and happy to be there. It wasn't just a meal--it was an experience. Cracker Barrel, you knocked it out of the park with this one! Blessings, David & Denise

Breakfast this morning and it was very good. Diane took good care of us though we didn't see her for quite some time after our meals arrived. A manager was doing coffee patrol so that all worked out fine. My wife chose the French toast breakfast, no eggs or meat. She really enjoyed the fried apples with it and it was helpful to have two bottles of syrup. "Breakfast Benny" for me, a base of one of Cracker Barrel's excellent biscuits split in half topped with a slice of Impossible Sausage (50 cent upcharge), a basted egg and then hollandaise sauce. Presented nicely with a portion of hashbrown casserole. Delicious breakfast and we enjoyed ourselves. Especially so since we had spent the night in the parking lot with the Sprinter van. Yes, Cracker Barrel tolerates the RVers and we left it as nice as we found it. [Review 20701 overall - 1107 in South Carolina - 1682 of 2023.]

Lunch meatloaf, mash potatoes, and okra

Taking my son from Fort Jackson to Fort Lee and stopped at the always reliable Cracker Barrel! Our wait time was minimal allowing us to stretch from travel and use the facilities. Our waitress was super friendly and attentive. I ordered the lunch meatloaf with mashed potatoes and okra plus the beans and greens with cornbread. I must admit the beans and greens were so good with the cornbread I only had a bite or two of the meatloaf - however my son was happy to finish it off for me! The okra was pale and mushy - not crispy, but perhaps I should have asked for it to be crispy. Although I cannot remember what my son ordered, he said the biscuits were melt in your mouth delicious - and he ate every one of them! His girlfriend had the lunch chicken and dumplings - her favorite - and the first time I've seen her eat everything on her plate! Very satisfying meal to get us back out on the road.

This location is right off exit of I 95 where most Cracker Barrel's are next door Ruby Tues. This was first time I ever ordered dinner from CB always breakfast previously. Hamburger steak was okay w A1 w 2 sides for $7.99. My wife first time to CB was impressed by her maple chicken, cole slaw, mashed potatoes, strawberry jelly, mildly sweet tea, and general store. She thought the food was really good high marks. The bill was $25 for two entrees, that's a good deal.

Don't waste your time. I would have preferred to starve. All of food was cold and eggs were undercooked. Bread was like hardtack.

It's a cute little shop, with sandwiches, cakes, dips, appetizers, all sorts of homemade goodies ready to take with you. The menu also has a selection of casseroles, lunches and dinners. The cakes are HUGE! We settled on buying a red velvet cake. It was a bit pricey at $32 BUT it was so dang heavy, we asked if it was perhaps frozen?? It wasn't. While checking out, the lovely people behind the counter offered us a sample of the chicken salad. To me, chicken salad is good, but I can't say I've ever had chicken salad that blew my socks off... UNTIL THEN! Mmmmmm it was VERY good. It's been months and I still remember how incredibly tasty the chicken salad tasted. I'll be honest, I didn't say anything, but I'm hit or miss when it comes to red velvet so I was hesitant. Sometimes red velvet can taste bitter or just not good. My friend really wanted that one so I kept quiet. Boy am I glad I did! It was literally the most amazing red velvet cake I've ever tried. It's VERY rich so a small slice will do you (which means the cake will feed more!). Even as rich as it was, I was like a crackhead, wanting just a bit more. Since my friend lives solo, she insisted I take some cake with me. I should have taken more!!! I try not to live life with regrets, but that's one regret for 2015. :( My daughter will tell you she does NOT like red velvet. I forced her to close her eyes, and take a bite. She LOVED it! She scarfed down the slice I brought for her and wanted more. As I mentioned earlier, this was months ago and I still think about how great the cake and chicken salad tasted. I was shocked to see Kaleen's hadn't been created on Yelp yet! If you're anywhere nearby, STOP AT KALEEN'S! Totally worth it.

A Florence standout worth returning to!…read more As a San Francisco Bay Area foodie, I'm always searching for restaurants that care about sourcing, seasonality and the entire dining experience. Town Hall checked those boxes for me a couple of years ago, so when work brought me back to Florence, I knew exactly where I wanted to eat. I looked at other options first, but nothing appealed to me at quite the same level. Town Hall's farm-driven, Southern-inspired menu, shareable plates and beautiful setting won me over again. And I'm happy to report: the second visit was every bit as memorable as the first. We started with the house-made cornbread and honey butter at our server's recommendation. Be warned: this stuff is dangerous. Hot, sweet and almost cake-like, with that honey butter melting into it. We promptly ordered another basket. Cocktails were equally impressive. I ordered a Sidecar, and when our server asked my cognac preference, my colleague volunteered Hennessy. Hennessy it was--and it made one spectacular Sidecar. For dinner, our server described a scallop special served over a shrimp étouffée-style preparation with microgreens. Sold. I paired that with the wedge salad because, well, I needed some roughage. The wedge came beautifully dressed with blue cheese, tomatoes, pickled red onion and bacon. The scallops were beautifully seared and tender, and the rich sauce underneath made the dish. My dining companions joined the fun with the house-made sausage, another order of the scallops, and a ribeye with French fries swapped in for the creamed corn--a little steak frites moment. Everything landed beautifully. What impressed me almost as much as the food was the service choreography. Our server was knowledgeable, personable and attentive without hovering. There was thoughtful table touching throughout the evening. Our dishes arrived together, and no plates disappeared while someone else was still eating. Those details may seem small, but polished hospitality lives in those details. We were far too full for dessert, so we called it a night--happy, well-fed and already talking about how good everything had been. Town Hall is the kind of restaurant I hope to find when traveling for work: locally driven, interesting food, strong cocktails, beautiful surroundings and service that understands hospitality. Two visits several years apart, and both delivered. If you're in Florence--or passing through South Carolina on your way toward the coast--Town Hall is worth making part of the trip. Life is too short not to eat well, sleep well, travel well and shop well. Get out there and find your next destination.

He was SO hospitable, sweet and genuinely welcoming. He gave great recommendations and did not steer us wrong. These days, it's not always easy to come across service like that, which made it even more appreciated. I ordered the Sunset Blush drink and it was delicious. We also got the cornbread and I'm not exaggerating when I say it was the BEST cornbread I've ever had. So soft and flavorful. The brisket sandwich was a little dry (could be because we went during closing) but still had really good flavor. The mac and cheese though... WOW. I am very picky with mac and cheese and most places miss the mark, but this tasted homemade. Easily a 10/10. My husband got the peach bourbon burger and said it was great. The kids ate everything in sight which is always a win...lastly the cinnamon roll cheesecake for dessert... phenomenal!!! Overall such a great experience and I'm really glad we stopped in!

After driving 15 hours on March 21, 2026, my husband and I were genuinely excited to try this place and planned to take our food back to the hotel. Unfortunately, the experience started off poorly and never really recovered. First, parking is extremely limited out front, which is frustrating when you're tired and just want a quick pickup. Inside, things only got worse. The front-of-house staff was shockingly unprofessional. The employee helping us clearly didn't understand her job and had to be corrected multiple times by another staff member--something no customer should have to witness. It created confusion, delays, and zero confidence in our order. We paid about $50 for a sampler, which is not cheap, and yet the same employee argued about giving us the sides because she entered the order incorrectly. If another, more competent employee hadn't stepped in, I'm convinced it would have escalated further. Even then, we never received one of the four sides we paid for. To make matters worse, we were never asked if we wanted drinks to go, and we weren't given plates, silverware, or even BBQ sauce--basic essentials for a takeout order. That's just unacceptable. While waiting, we also watched this same employee tell three separate dine-in families to go sit and wait while she stood there rolling silverware. Completely rude and dismissive. If I had been one of those customers, I would have walked out. This is the first impression customers get, and it's a terrible reflection of how the place is run. Between the disorganization, poor communication, and outright unfriendly behavior, the service was a mess. The only reason this isn't a one-star review is because the food itself was actually very good. The burnt ends and ribs were the standout--absolutely delicious. But great BBQ can't fully make up for such a frustrating and poorly managed customer experience.
