Loved our meals at Pam's today! The cleanliness of the buffet area was perfect! Everything that we tried was wonderful! There were 4 choices of meats, so many vegetables, soup, and corn bead muffins, biscuits, and hush puppies. I ate the delicious peach cobbler and an amazing fig cobbler! You can have ice cream on both. The server kept our glasses filled. This was my first time to dine here and I wish I lived closer so I could dine there more often. On the Thanksgiving day, we were headed to Myrtle Beach and stopped here for quick lunch. First off, we are so thankful for restaurants like Pam's who serve food on the thanksgiving day. Staff was so polite and attentive. There was good variety of food in the buffet - I liked chicken noodle soup, was delicious. Salad was fresh with good selection of dressings. Man what a nice stop. On the way to the beach and found this place. Way better then any fast food place. The cook was so nice. So much good food. Was really good. Will be our go to stop. We parked in the back with the rv and had plenty of room. Yes it is $17 per person and kids and cheaper. Bring cash. It helps. We had water. Was good. read more

Went here for lunch on Sunday and it was spectacular. Really nice people that come and talk to you, this is quintessential southern hospitality at its finest. Also the buffet is filled with delicious southern style cooking. Fried okra, mac and cheese, delicious chicken and homemade southern Biscuits and all the good stuff you could think of mmmm. I recently had the opportunity to eat at Pam's Restaurant. I was very disappointed. I was really looking forward to it, because everyone had told m e how good it was. First of all the charge was $18. If the food would have been good, I would not have minded the price. I was excited when I saw Soup Bar. However, I was definitely disappointed when they only offered 1 soup...hardly a Soup Bar. There wee 3 choices of meat - Bar-B-Q, Fried Chicken & some other meat. I could not tell what it was, so I referred to it as Mystery Meat. The chicken was not edible, everytime I tried to put a bite in my mouth, all I got was bones. The Bar-B-Q was watered down. There was not a good selection of vegetables. No potatoes at all. The small biscuits were okay & the hush puppies left a lot to be desired. The best part for me was the Salad Bar; it was actually tasty, Would have been much happier with a meal from McDonald's. Everyone came telling me this was going to be like Momma's Homecooking. Needless to say, my Momma would have never served food that tasted like this & charged $18 a plate for it. To some, this might be home-style cooking. All I can say is, you never had the joy of eating my Momma's cooking. Would definitelty not recommend the food & will never pay $18 for it again. We stopped by just as a happen stance and seeing the pig on the roof caught our eye and stomach. We were pleasantly surprised, we did carry out bc our appetite wasn't quite buffet sized but we just wanted some good food after being disappointed with the dining choice,the night before. Pams staff were hospitable and the food was yummy. The dressing taste truly homemade, we didn't need to add anything to the greens bc it was well seasoned, the pork/rice was tasty and the Mac/cheese was not missing a beat. Overall we enjoyed the portion size and food flavorings. Would suggest this location to anyone looking for a truly home cook type restaurant. $11.50 for buffet or carry out which included the drink. read more

When you come upon the building in the middle of nowhere you know your in a special place, from The outside the building looks like its from the 2000's but from the inside wow looks like the 1860's! From the living in the past newspaper articles to the backwoods opinions of employees, this place has everything canned food, and one chicken cut into 90 pieces instead of the usual 8, The food was about as mediocre as a banquet TV dinner, bland and tasteless just like decor. not sure that impeaching Clinton will do much anymore but I'll let them have their opinions but if you come here make sure you wear your best fancy Sunday robes and hoods. Also the wait staff is decent but don't expect an educated conversation. read more

My mom has lived in Hartsville for about 15 years and this was my first time at Pam's. We came for an after funeral lunch. Pam Flowers has quite the establishment. Very quaint, inexpensive and extremely family oriented. Pam's staff was delightful, warm and kept smiles the entire time. As someone who's worked in food and beverage, i know the ends and outs of how things operate. They didn't miss a beat. Pam, thanks again for your hospitality last Saturday. I saw a review that compared the food to that of a high school cafeteria, but I didn't listen. My first mistake was not bringing cash, they charge extra for a debit card. Then I left a tip on the charge slip, that was my 2nd mistake. After sitting down with my plate of buffet food, the waitress approached and asked what I wanted to drink. I asked for a Diet Coke, and was then told that soft drinks were an extra $2. Wow! And the tip I left at the cashiers desk before sitting down? When I asked my waitress for some tartar sauce for the fried fish, she pointed behind her and said that it was on the dessert bar. Then she walked away. Wow! For $9, the food was barely OK, pretty standard high school cafeteria food lol. sure did want that $2 Diet Coke though. read more

I've eaten at Pam's quite a few times. The service is moderately good, however the food lacks flavor. It seems as though everything they serve is just poured straight out of a can then poured directly into the steam well. I will say the peach cobbler was quite tasty! read more

Pam's Restaurant is a cozy little family restaurant. There is an all you can eat buffet that includes pulled pork, greens, and much more. It is your southern home cooking. The price is perfect and you walk out with a full tummy. When we went we drove over 45 mins just to eat there. read more

This restaurant is very mediocre. When we went they had ran out of mac and cheese (which is my favorite thing to eat). They replaced it with squash instead of remaking more. Don't eat to much food from the buffet "style" restaurant. If they think you have eating too much you will be asked to leave.
