The naan itself worked well as a base for the hummus, although the hummus was neither smooth nor flavorful. There was no fragrance from the chickpeas, and it tasted rather unseasoned. The selection of peppers, carrots, and cucumbers was decent. *Garlic Butter Mussels: their monthly mussel dish. The mussels were cooked well and coated in a one dimensional sauce. The sweet wine was cooked down with lots of garlic, while the butter was subtle. I wished there had been a bit more toasted baguette to balance the one pound of seafood. Note there is a 3% credit card surcharge. I could not find this listed on their menu and but I saw the charge on my receipt. I enjoyed the few beers I had, and the food was acceptable for a bar. With some improvement to the flavors, this could be a worthwhile visit for a bite and a drink.

No croutons or Swiss cheese in it or on the side, as described on the menu. Sadly, this was take-out & we never looked until we got home (over 1/2 hour away). All over-priced as all inedible. Totally feel cheated. Email with pictures sent to management - received absolutely no response.

However, all the food was really great and I really did enjoy myself. After lunch my daughter took me to the Rusty Rail store and I bought a nice T-shirt. If you do buy a T-shirt, I want to say, while the shirts are great, wash up nice and feel really comfortable, make sure you buy an upsized shirt. Normally I take a large but I decided on an XL and I am glad I did because after washing the XL fits perfectly. And I got to speak with (I think either the manager or owner) about the music they were playing. They were playing songs from my favorite singer, Bob Seger. I have every Bob Seger song he ever published on either, CD, Cassette Tape (yeah, still got one that works), or vinyl record. Told him he needs to check out the Bob Seger song Little Victories. I actually have a vinyl record with just that song. It is the large 78 version. That was a rare find and I actually found that in Germany in the mid 80's. The song says a lot. Anyway, after speaking with the man, my daughter said I could pick out and mix my own six pack of beer. Let me tell you, Rusty Rail makes some really, really fantastic beer. I would have to say my two faovrites are Wolf King, a stout with coffee & oatmeal and the other is Fool's Gold, Peanut Butter Hefeweizen. Oh my God, those two are absolutely great beers. I should be living in Mifflinburg because I would be making a weekly stop at the Rusty Rail. And for all you ex-military people, the Rusty Rail does give a discount to military. I hope my kids take me to the Rusty Rail again next year. Oh, in case I did not say it. The kids took mom and dad to the Rusty Rail and the Wild Animal Sanctuary as a gift for our birthday's and Mother's Day and Father's Day. It just so happens my wife was born on Mother's Day and I was born the day after Father's Day. The atmosphere of the Rusty Rail is great, it is simply a real nice place to socialize. And as a compliment to the Rusty Rail, I want to add this. When I go out to eat, one of the first things I do is use the restroom. Why? To see how clean the restrooms are. If a venu's restrooms are dirty, find another place because if they can't keep the restrooms clean, then they don't care about your food much either. The restrooms at the Rust Rail were immaculately clean. JUST TO BE CLEAR, THE RESTROOMS AT THE RUSTY RAIL ARE IMMACULATELY CLEAN. Thank You Rusty Rail for a wonderful time with my family.

At the recommendation of our waitress, we all ordered the chicken and waffles special, and every single person loved it. It was absolutely delicious. I also had the Reuben soup and it was very tasty. They also have a wonderful beer selection. I tried the blueberry beer, which was very tasty with a smooth blueberry finish that really stood out. If you're looking for a great brewery with good food, great beer, and a fun atmosphere, I would definitely recommend checking this place out!

My family visits Heeter's often because it close to home and great good! The quality of the food is awesome : ) You pay for what you get! People complain now days that places are expensive, have you noticed that in the grocery store prices keep going up too? Heeter's only improves over the years! Scott (the owner) I believe truly cares about his business and the quality of the food he serves. And by the way... If you have read any other post on here... 3 large cones are not even over $10. And I would still buy them if they were because their ice cream is so creamy! Some times we just stop for ice cream. It is also nice to walk into a diner and see the same people working day after day-year after year. That also tells me that the owner must care about his employees. I would recommend Heeters to anyone! Great food! You have to get ice cream! You won't go away hungry! And their prices are just like Perkins or Friendlys...or cheaper! But the food is way better! My kids love when their meals come in cardboard cars they can take home! They get a different color/style car all the time! Heeter's is also very clean! And that's a BIG plus too! Enjoy! Try it out! We also shared a short stack of chocolate chip pancakes during both of our visits - and they were amazing! They weren't overloaded with chocolate chips, and the pancake tasted similar to birthday cake batter. It was a nice sweet treat to have right after finishing our main breakfast dishes. The service was also fast and courteous both times. Palmer's Diner will absolutely be one of our usual spots to stop by whenever we're in the area.

I grab it and quickly walk out just wanting to get out and get home. Of course, I arrive home to find that they forgot one of my sides. So now we have to go back again and pick that up... The chicken tenders were good. Main reason to come here. Garlic parm fries were ok; a bit undercooked / soggy. Cole slaw... I guess I'll find out when I go back to pick it up.
