Loved our server Traci! She was very kind, funny, and the conversations felt personal. Ordered the buffalo ranch mac and cheese which was pretty good. The restaurant was busy, but not packed on this weekday morning so we were able to go right in. The food came out fast and freshly cooked. I got my usual, Grandma's Sampler, except I tried it with pecan pancakes instead of regular and it was delicious. I am not as impressed with the decision to remove grits and butter off the menu recently and now are only available as cheesy grits and are an upcharge side item. They have also added alcohol to the menu within the last 6 months including brunch memosas. I will admit they do have some work to do on making good memosas. The food came out 1 item at a time over about 20 minutes. She also didn't allow any refills. Look at my reviews, I'm usually a high-grader but this place is a no for me. Dogs are allowed in this restaurant so I won't be returning. A small dog was sitting on top of one of the nearby tables. I asked the waitress if dogs were allowed on their tables and she said absolutely not. I pointed the dog out to her and she said she would get a manager to speak with them. After 45 minutes no manager came but the dog remained sitting right on top of the table. This is beyond gross. Service has really slipped. I've eaten here a number of times over the years and service was generally good but not great. Really gone downhill over the past year. Within the past month, I've been here twice before today and in both cases, the host (hostess) station was abandoned and after a wait, ended up going elsewhere. Today went to lunch with a new employee and for a change, someone was at the host station and we did get seated. I made the comment that I had been here twice and this was the first time we had encountered a host. His response was "That's not good". Tell me about it. We were seated back in a corner and after a couple of minutes, a server approached with our menus. We both ordered the Wednesday lunch which was Chicken Pot Pie. Since it was the daily special, it's probably made in advance because we had our lunch in just a couple of minutes. The Chicken Pot Pie was OK. Crust was good and the Chicken was fair but the rest of the filling had no taste or consistency. Very bland and did not compliment the dish at all. Atmosphere is a typical Cracker Barrel and would not recommend. They new to adopt the system used at other Cracker Barrel's in the area where you are greeted at the front door with someone with a tablet and you're immediately entered into the system. It all depends on the hash brown casserole. They already get a ding for no sausage links. The hash brown casserole was good, but not great. They still get at least three stars because they are always there when you need them. Good home cooking fast and for the most part very good. We have been to all lower 48 states and several of them multiple times. It is always comforting to see the yellow Cracker Barrel sign on the green highway sign for food off of an exit. We have some favorites that we usually always get. From time to time we do try other things but still we normally have good hot food fast. And face the facts when you are on the road a lot of the time that is what you are looking for. We will still stop at one, usually at least once on every vacation that we take. Believe me that is at least 5 or 6 times a year, with at least one two week long trip included. This is a mainstay for anyone how travels long distances and wants something that reminds them of home cooked meals from their parent(s). We will definitely be back to a location if not this particular one. read more

Worst service I have ever had at any restaurant but for a Cracker Barrel this must be a store that is closing soon. The food was cold, and if not for the gravy wouldn't have eaten any of it. Had the Manager come to the table to view the food and she agreed it had sit ready in back to long, it was an hour we were there and left hungry for the first time ever. read more

This is a very poorly run Cracker Barrel. Today we waited for 40 minutes to be seated. Noticed that lots of empty tables on the way to ours. Asked waitress if they were short staffed and she said no. Didn't know why they weren't filling the tables. Ordered our food. Then waited and waited and waited, while others around us received their food, even though they arrived after us. Finally, the food shows up and it's cold. Butter wouldn't melt on the pancake. Needless to say, we left at that point. Talked to the manager and she blamed the waitress. Do they use frozen food from a box ? Absolutely the worst place to eat is a Cracker Barrel. Should change name to slop house !! They waste your time and your money. Went there at 9am with my husband for breakfast, and we were seated fairly quickly in the middle area. That's pretty much all we got to do. We sat there for a good thirty minutes before being able to put in our orders. We put in our drink and food orders at the same time. Got our drinks, never saw the food. We then watched for another 45 or so minutes as other parties larger than us and other couples got seated, served, ate, and left while we still waited for so much as a nod. I completely understand being understaffed, but it got to point where it felt as if we were being actively ignored, and kind of discriminated against. Horrible experience, I want my time back. I took my 93 and 87 year old mothers. The first thing they did was try to seat us at the far side of the restaurant. I requested a closer table politely informing the lady that my mothers had difficulty walking which was a very obvious fact that she had overlooked. The food good for Cracker Barrel. We had to find someone to bring us bread plates for our bread, then they were wet. My mom asked for her drink to go, and they put it in a disposable cup with no lid. We asked for a lid and the waitress was surprised that we wanted one. She finally did, but no straw. It took them forever to bring us the check. In my travels I am a little reluctant to go to a Cracker Barrel, not becuase of the food, but because of the wait times. However this Saturday morning I thought I would see if I could get in without a long wait. To my surprise I was seated immediately. Wait staff was exceptional, making sure that not only was my order placed and served quickly, but even offering a newspaper to read and keeping my beverage glass filled. I don't come here as often. In my opinion it's a decent place to have breakfast at. If I get tired of ihop then I'll visit here to have something different. The French toast that I had was a little disappointing. It seems like it's just sourdough bread that was grilled without being soaked into anything but eggs. It makes the French toast taste real eggy. If it was soaked in milk with some cinnamon and vanilla extract it will bring in more flavor. On the other hand I love their pure syrup that they serve in little glass bottles. I take some extra back home lol. Anyways it's an okay pancake restaurant. I enjoyed it. read more

We went to eat tonight and gave them the name at about 6pm and was told it was a 20 minute wait and I expected 30-45 due to how busy they were but we waited for an hour and a half all together and finally asked how much longer the wait would be and were told that our name was somehow taken off the list the person we talked to didn't even add our name back onto the list and just told us that he would give us the next available table and proceeded to call 4 different tables and completely ignored us and the fact we were waiting for over and hour! read more
