Great food & service, but to-go order mix-up was disappointing. I recently visited Bad Daddy's Burger Bar, and overall, the food, drinks, and service were great! Our waitress was friendly and attentive, making the dine-in experience smooth and enjoyable. I ordered a Create Your Own Burger with mayo, bacon, a fried egg, double patty (medium well) on a brioche bun, plus their signature Bad Daddy's Sauce--and it was delicious. Everything was cooked just right, and the flavors came together perfectly. I also got a side of crispy, well-seasoned fries (note: fries are not included with the burger--you'll have to order them separately), and we started off with an appetizer of fried chicken wings. The wings were tasty, though I personally felt $10 was a bit steep for what you get. For drinks, I had the Bad Ass Lime Margarita, and it was strong and really hit the spot. One glass is plenty for most people. I also tried the Strawberry Bad Ass Margarita, which honestly tasted even stronger than the lime version--both were very good. Unfortunately, the downside of our visit came with one of the to-go orders. My friend ordered the same burger they had earlier, but when they got home, they realized it was made incorrectly--it ended up being exactly like my burger instead of what they asked for. They were really disappointed and upset. Hopefully it can be resolved when they call the restaurant. This was my first time to this location after having been to the Birkdale location several times (always good). Due to this one's geographical location, the energy isn't quite as high, but the staff is efficient and friendly and the food is good. I enjoyed my burger very much and the fries were solid. I ate at the bar and the bartender was good. The only negative is the tap beer tasted odd and I felt a little sick later (nothing serious). The first tap beer felt off and I tried another one and didn't realize until after a few sips that it also felt off. I didn't want to be annoying so I just drank it. So ... if you order a burger and fries and bottled beer (if you drink beer), you should have a swell time. read more

Ordered from Door dash. Order was perfectly packed. The pork nachos travelled well; chips were crunchy. Good amount of pork and generous amounts of the amber ale queso. Chicken tenders had a flavorful breading and were moist and delicious. The Mac and cheese is fabulous. Hearty pasta and great cheese sauce. If you're craving a great burger, this is not it. The best thing about this restaurant is the decor inside. The service was subpar and the food was almost inedible except for the tater tots. The burgers were dry and tasteless and the buns were stale and awful. The gluten free bun was even worse and not edible at all as it was hard as a rock. We have given them three chances so we are done with this Bad Daddy's. It's always freezing inside, service takes FOREVER, and everything is always burnt to a crisp. We used to love Bad Daddy's at other locations but this one is just no good. For instance, just tonight, we showed up at 7:30 way past dinner hour and it wasn't that busy. It took an hour and a half for a burger. Then most of the burgers were burnt. While my burger was actually cooked right, the onion straws were so roasted they were black. My daughter's meal came out wrong and we just said whatever because we weren't waiting another hour for them to correct it. They said they still would make her a new one just incase and it never even came. When I'm telling you it takes forever, it takes forever. I didn't love their Mac and cheese, but as a whole the burger was delicious! The only thing I wouldn't get again is their fried pickles. They're not pickle chips, and they're super thin. Normally I don't post reviews but our time was so awesome we have to speak about it! We went to BD Saturday (my husband, child & I) for a regular monthly visit and in all our times we've never had such a great experience. Mia was our server & the experience and food was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING & full of patience. Our child is down's syndrome & autistic and the way we were treated was unmatched. She was so patient so kind she even took time to attempt communication to our nonverbal kid. It was a great and loving experience and it's rare we get that going out. Our baby can be a little noisy at times so we try to go when the restaurants are dead in business, but even still we felt like the only ones in the room! We had such a great time there and for the first time we sat in the car and teared up about humanity having a good side. Kudos to you guys keep the service up! As far as the food, we ordered two all American burgers and a side of mac & cheese, which all came out perfectly cooked hot and fresh. It was super easy to order from the Yelp app via Grubhub, our order was filled correctly, and everything was ready when I got there! Can't say much for the place itself or the atmosphere since I was in and out quick (had a lot of hungry mouths at the house to feed). I did take off one star either because food wasn't super fresh. The estimated pickup time was 7:50-8:09 and I got there at 7:40 and it was early and already getting a little lukewarm, so I'm not sure how long it was ready before I got there. Ohhhhh weee the food here was delicious!!! If you've never had a bacon cheeseburger on steriods you're missing out!!! Everything on the menu looked yummy! My son and I eat with our eyes so we had to try the jalapeño deviled eggs!!! The eggs were crispy, crunchy and spicy oh yeah!!! I would definitely recommend trying them if you love fried eggs. In town on a trip for a surprise birthday party and my cousin thought this would be a nice place to go...so we went. We were greeted at the door by a masked- greeter who quickly took us to our seats. Nice spacious booth and they did a great job with social distancing (not that it matters to me, but cool). Our server quickly took our drink orders and answered a few questions about the menu before we made our selections. I ordered the Daddy's Philly with some fries. First off, I wanna say how happy I was that this was not named Philly Cheesesteak - because it's NOT a Philly Cheesesteak, it's their version of it, a Philly Cheesesteak with Daddy's twist. That twist of jalapeno peppers was a pleasant surprise. It was also pretty cool that it was a chopped up Angus burger. The housemade American cheese on top was really good too. Fresh cut fries were tasty as well...especially dipped in that Daddy's Sauce! My cousin ordered a Buffalo chicken sandwich and it looked tasty...she had no complaints so that's good. We also sort of shared a strawberry milkshake. She ordered one and they brought it out in the glass but brought the cold cup it was blended in as well so I took that. It was a good, there was a Pulp Fiction movie poster on the wall, so I will say "That's a pretty good milkshake. I don't know if it's worth five dollars but it's pretty good." We visited around dinner time, and the restaurant was almost empty. Upon arrival, the hostess walked to the front desk chewing something and wearing AirPods. She barely greeted us, didn't make eye contact, and nonchalantly led us to our table. Throughout our visit, many employees stood around openly chatting, which felt unprofessional as we could overhear private conversations and conversations about the management side of the restaurant. A male employee with long hair, who appeared to work in the kitchen, was seen using the restroom twice by a family member (who was also in the restroom) and did not wash his hands either time. It's basically fast food, so I'm not expecting too much, but the food quality was disappointing--the french fries tasted old, fried onion rings were unavailable, and the rest of the meal was mediocre. Went to Bad Daddy's today for lunch after getting our nails done across the street. The smell was wafting and called us in. The food was SO good. I had the Philly cheese steak and sweet potato fries . Sister had the patty melt and they even swapped her bread since she didn't want rye. My mom and grandma split a burger and fries and when they brought it out they had already split it on two different plates for them. We had fried pickles for an app which were good, just a touch salty. Our only complaint was it was a little slow on the service. We waited about 20 mins for our app which the server did take off the bill without us evening mentioning it (super cool of her). All in all it took about an hour and 20 mins from getting in to finishing eating. Our food took about 40 mins from ordering to come out. BUT yall it was worth the wait. The food was fantastic. The portions were huge. And when I reheated my leftovers for supper they were still just as tasty. The only complaint was it was a little slow. However our waitress made it a point to apologize and take the app off our bill. And you could obviously tell she was running around like crazy. So no fault to her. The first time I ever tried a Bad Daddy's was in the Dilworth neighborhood in Charlotte and it was called "BIG" Daddy's. I was annoyed at how trendy the crowd was and how long we had to wait. The hamburger I got that night more than made up for the hipsters making it hard to get into. It was so delicious! Thinking the one in Mooresville would be just as good, I was pleased to walk in and find that I didn't have to wait long to be seated. Unfortunately the food was not as good as the food we had at the original location. That doesn't mean it isn't good. It is. Just not as good. The hamburger was a little dry on this night, but so big I did take home half. Mostly because we ordered Fried Pickles as an appetizer. Speaking of, these pickles are sliced horizontally which I'm not a fan of. Just seems like they don't get crisp enough. The buffalo chicken sandwich was good, as reported by my children. Good food, but know that anything of value left behind at your table WILL be stolen immediately by the employees (our host and bus boy to be exact). We were not sitting near anyone else in the restaurant, so that is not a possibility. My brother left his birthday card (with money) inside the envelope, unopened. Within minutes of leaving, we called and went back to retrieve his card but it miraculously couldn't be found. My brother DUG IN THE TRASH they said it could possibly be in and found his card opened and crumpled up with of course no money to be found. The "manager" gave my brother coupons to "compensate" for a good amount of money being stolen. We will NOT be returning to this sorry restaurant with pathetic staff. read more
