My wife and I recently went here for a special occasion dinner and were pleasantly surprised. For a Wednesday evening the parking lot was almost packed, but we were able to get seated right away. We got the roadhouse cheese fries for an appetizer. The fries were fresh out of the frier and still hot and crispy with tons of melted cheese perfect with ranch dipping sauce. We both ordered the onion brewski sirloin dinners, which is an 8oz sirloin steak with Samuel Adams brewed onions then garlic butter on top and topped with french fried onions. This was delicious and both steaks were cooked perfectly, props to the cooks that night. Our side salads were both fresh and flavorful as well. Shout out to our waitress Skyler who was awesome and made dinner a great experience. This place is worth the trip as I will be going back soon! read more

For a poor man's steakhouse, this was an unexpectedly pleasant experience. Ordered to go. The lady in charge of only to-go pick up orders was on point in every way! She had a sense of urgency getting to each order, but was also very meticulous and detail oriented. She didn't miss a step, beat, or condiment! She included rolls, cinnamon butter, utensils, and extra napkins. You'd be surprised how often those things were missed. Everything we ordered actually made it into the bags and were put together perfectly. Overall, this was an excellent stop because of the customer service in the to go section. read more

I mostly come here for the nostalgia. This was my fiancée and I's first dinner-date spot. I usually get the grilled salmon. Wasn't a huge fan of it tonight; tasted a little burnt -- how they managed to do that, I couldn't tell you. She got a chicken sandwich shaped like a heart and small handful of fries. It's got that bar-with-attached-restaurant vibe to it, if that makes sense. Not the nicest steakhouse in the world, but far from the worst. Our server was attentive, which is important to me -- and non-interruptive, which is equally as important. I may be biased due to its sentimental value to me, but I'd still come here without a second thought, though. Very similar to Texas Roadhouse with a classic steakhouse feel. The yeast rolls were the perfect starter--warm and fresh. I had the sirloin steak along with the fall-off-the-bone ribs, and both were cooked well and flavorful. Service was good, making for an overall enjoyable meal. SERVICE: Was what you'd expect from a chain restaurant that's been going for a while. The service was not fast but nothing to write home about. It wasn't generally friendly and just more transactional. We were asked for our drink order but we weren't given a drink menu. And when I asked for one, I was given one that was dirty and very sticky. The menu said to ask the server about the draft beer options and when I did, she didn't know what they had and just handed me her cheat sheet to look at. When they brought my daughters drink, there was no straw so we had to wait to flag our server down. When they offered my wife a refill on her fountain drink, they didn't take the empty glass and brought her a paper cup. FOOD: The food was not good. The burgers were not seasoned and the patties fell apart. My daughter got the hotdog with chips. The chips appeared to be made in-house but they weren't fried long enough so they were soft and flimsy. The French fries were unsalted and mushy as well. They asked my wife what cheese she wanted on her burger and when my wife chose one of the options, the server then stated she actually wasn't even sure if they had it. MENU: The didn't have many options for this kind of place. There was only two burger options and a few sandwich options. I honestly wouldn't trust a steak or ribs from here. AMBIANCE: The ambiance was that if an Applebees or Chilis but it seemed old and very dingy. It didn't feel comfortable or warm or like somewhere I wanted to spend my time. Most of my time was telling my daughter to leave the old food in her booster seat or in the seats alone. I would not recommend this place. You would be much better off at the Chilis or Olive Garden nearby, if you're looking for a quick family spot. read more

My husband and I have dined here a couple of times and have been completely satisfied each and every time. The place is decorated outside and in like a standard steakhouse, with the exception of interesting murals on the walls. It's clean and comfortable. (Just remember though, the booths are lifted up a step so be careful stepping down!) The waitstaff are pleasant and helpful. The mixed drinks are good, and there is a decent amount of beer on draft. The complimentary rolls are soft & yeasty. They are served with cinnamon butter (ugh) but the staff will bring you regular butter on request. The salads are fresh. The baked potatoes are cooked perfectly. There is a large menu with many entrees, but honestly, we only come here for the steaks. They have many different steaks and sizes, but we stick to the sirloins. They are so tender and juicy, you'd swear they were a more expensive cut. It takes no effort to cut into these steaks and are so easy to chew. They are seasoned sparingly, unlike other steak places, leaving a lovely taste of beef instead of heavy spices on your palate. I highly recommend Logan's for a perfect steak and a lovely visit. read more

I've been to this location a number of times, and I was looking forward to coming back. Each time I've been here, the most notable thing for me has been how friendly the staff is. Even the servers who are not tending to your table go out of their way to be friendly and greet you as you come and go. I've enjoyed my food on each visit, up until last night. (I have to note that while my food has always been good, my husband has had the opposite experience. Consistency is definitely a struggle here.) We arrived for dinner on Saturday evening and the parking lot was absolutely packed. There was a line out the door, so we were expecting some steep wait times. They told us 45 minutes and took our phone number down. Really wasn't too bad! We were seated and our waitress was with us right away to take our drink orders. She was great, although not as attentive as we would have liked but I totally understand because they were extremely busy. The bread came out hot and soft along with regular and cinnamon butter. This alone made the whole trip worth it for me. Our entire table ordered medium rare steaks. I would say that everyone's steak looked different from each other, while all being pretty overcooked. I'm not one to send food back, especially knowing I would have been waiting for a while to get a new steak, so I still ate it. I could only get halfway through before I gave up. It was cooked extremely unevenly, some pieces were too tough and chewy to even eat, while others had the slightest bit of pink to them and were decent. I was so disappointed because they've never messed up my order before and their steak is great when cooked properly. Sadly, the fries weren't good either. They had a microwave kind of texture to them. No crisp at all, just chewy and bland. My husband ordered fries as well but got a baked potato instead. Honestly, I think he lucked out. We were all ready to leave and because they were so busy we ended up sitting for a long time before our check came. Our waitress Kristin was very friendly and when we had a minor issue she was quivk to get the manager. Only thing wrong was blue chees crumbles melted on the steak that my husband i were sharing...lol not a problem for me but he dont like them. All we did was make the mng aware..it was food we ate it i mean y complain when itwas an oversight anyway. Steak was still cooked to perfection. Still is my favorite resturant. Worst meal experience ever! Waited for a table before 5 for 20 minutes. Then took 40 mins to get a club sandwich grilled clear chicken tenders and a medium rare steak. Do not waste your time here. Logan's is a pretty standard chain steakhouse. Our experience in Statesville was great. We were sat down quickly, waitress was nice and attentive and quick with drinks. We ordered the classic cheeseburger and ribeye sandwich. Food was out quickly - however - my steak (ordered rare) was served very well done. I showed our waitress and she immediately took it to have it remade. A few minutes later the manager came out with a brand new plate and the steak was perfect. I like Logan's Statesville but the problem is they have ZERO restaurant competition in Statesville. There were only 20 cars in parking lot; tables open everywhere and I was told a 20 minute wait. It's like they get pleasure making people wait and not seating them. If it's logistic and no hostesses; they should plan better. They been in business too long not to know how to schedule based on slow vs peak periods of day. Lastly, the hostesses always say you must wait 20 minutes like they are intentionally wanting to turn people away. When a Texas Roadhouse shows up someday for all those they "intentionally " try to turn away may never comeback. Yeast roles are available at Texas Roadhouse too. Money gone....Customers keep you in business.. what about this philosophy Logan's don't get? read more

Found a hair in my food and it was still on my bill the manager who looked homeless didn't even come over to apologize. First and last experience at Logan's I'd rather go to McDonalds. read more

Poorly staff and from the appearance it seems the management is less than capable. I would not recommend this restaurant under any circumstances. One of the worst experiences I have ever had yet. April 14 2018 241pm; staffing was a little better, wait time was only a few minutes to be seated, however, our server was busy serving other tables and returned only at the end. Wish she had come by to see the order was not correct. they still have not corrected the restroom, still obviously dirty and not well maintained. Server was polite and professional this time. One of their items they missed is limiting the child menu to children and since my wife is dieting this means she cannot eat here. This limits how often I would ever visit. Many food establishments have come to realize there is some serious money to be made by offering a reduced serving to dieting people. Considering the rest of the family is buying food as well, this establishment like a few has yet to understand the economics of this. So instead of 5 people eating today. There is only one. Food quality is improved. However, it still has a little ways to go versus their competitors. I am changing my rating from 1 star to 2 because they have made some improvements. read more
