Chicken, corn, beef tips, rice, biscuit

The chicken was very good, but the beef tips and rice were my favorite. The green beans has plenty of flavor and the tea was great. The barbecue was good as well. I do wish they had Mac and cheese every day. I did not get to try this.

Lost it's touch but still OK Ben here for lunch or dinner for over 10 years. Normally very good but of late, has been slipping. My wife and I went for lunch after Church about a week ago. Have dined here a number of time over the years and always felt in touch with the cuisine. Last couple of time, less and less so. Last Sunday after Church we went over to Julia's. First and foremost, the food and cuisine were good but compared to years past, a definite slide has occurred Arrived right around 11 am and went through the cafeteria line. School line revisited. Order Fried Chicken, white which turned out to be the best item of the meal. The okra was under cooked and mussy while he masked potatoes, while edible, did not offer anything in terms of contrasts in flavor or textures. When we first came here, almost 20 years ago, this was home cooking with distinct flavor and texture. It was very good but you've lost it. Time to return to basics and roots and quess what???... people will flock to that.

I like the staff here. Basic good southern food. Biscuits made fresh. Chicken moist. I find it somewhat limiting in items but hot food. I liked it. Will come back.

The hours posted here aren't correct. Are they even open for dinner? We drove from Huntersville and got there at 7. Lights were off.

We visited on a Sunday which they fo not offer tours this day as they are only open from 12-6pm. It was raining but around 1pm it died down and we found our way to the Vineyard. Arrived around 2pm and man was it Alive! They had a food truck located towards the front of the entrance. I did not go see what food they had. There was a live band playing with plenty of seating under the trees close to the band. There is also front porch seating as well as two covered off side patio with plenty of tables to choose from as well. They sell lots of red, white and wine slushies. They also offer waters, sodas and sparkling water as well. They do not have food. They offer chips, charcuterie boards, popcorns and different types of nuts. We opted for a pre packaged charcuterie board with two wine slushies and a glass of Dry Rose. The ambiance was everything. It was such a nice day out. Cooler out especially after it rained but things were dry since the sun had been out. Around 4pm it did start raining but rather than people leave, they gathered under the roof to enjoy their wine and view the rain. Honestly very peaceful. Employees were super friendly and efficient. No troubles at all. Plenty of parking to choose from. For this being located in Troutman, such a nice Vineyard and I def. Will be back.

We went for lunch, seated right away, we decided sit at the bar. Great service was provided. I think a manager came out was kind of sitting at the end of the bar, he too was so friendly. And lucky he did because we didn't know about there dessert area. It was out of view, but yes make sure you walk back there and see all the delicious dessert, made all in house homemade. Nice drinks selection and very nice selection on the bar from bourbons to tequilas and everything in between. Now, hear me on this, I THINK I found some of the best pizza in Charlotte!!!!! The restaurant outside of the actually city, but you know what I mean That saying a lot being from Buffalo. But man, their Hawaiian heat wave pizza. Just had pepperoni, pineapple and drizzled with hot honey. Look before you say ick pineapple don't belong on pizza, please just try this one first. There sauce incredibly good and the crust was cooked to perfection. Absolutely loved this pizza. We got wings, a burger and blackened chicken panini as well. No complaints on the food. Everything we had was really good. If I lived in Charlotte I'd be here once a week for the pizza alone. Maybe they will see this and offer shipping hahaha.. I also couldn't leave without a dessert, so went with the apple pie blossom..no complaints, flaky crust, filled nicely, great ending to our meal Seriously tho, this spot was a hit, great location, great service and amazing food.

The atmosphere strikes a perfect balance between cozy and thoughtfully designed. We started off with the pepperoni bites as an appetizer and each got a salad, Caesar, Strawberry, Antipesto and Chicken all filled with quality ingredients and flavor, very well-prepared and satisfying. We finished with cake and cheesecake. The blueberry lemon cake was a bit on the stale side (don't order if it's the last slice in the dessert booth), the cheesecake and chocolate peanut butter cake hit the spot. Service is another standout--friendly, attentive, and genuinely invested in making your experience enjoyable. You get the sense that the staff takes pride in what they do, and it shows. Bottom line: Great food, welcoming atmosphere, and top-notch service--definitely worth a visit (and a return trip).

Paloma is a beautiful location, and we really wanted to love our dinner here, but unfortunately,…read morethe food didn't quite live up to expectations. I ordered the pork belly bao buns, but they missed the mark for me. Coming from NY, I'm used to bao buns being marshmallow-soft and pillowy, but these were a hard, and the pork belly itself was quite tough. Our wonderful waitress noticed I only took one bite and brought the manager over. He explained that the cut is naturally mostly fat, which I understand, but the texture just wasn't quite right because it should be tender not tough. I declined a replacement dish, and he kindly credited it on our bill, though the interaction felt a little awkward. My husband's salmon unfortunately had a very heavy mustard flavor. The spinach farrotto underneath was quite salty. Since there isn't a kids menu which is fine, my daughter ordered the burger plain, but it wasn't really a hit for her. My coconut guava Paloma was okay definitely the best part of my meal though it tasted a little artificial. The ambiance has a lot of potential, and they had live music playing. However, it was a bit too loud for the space, forcing guests to raise their voices just to speak to each other. We also noticed our table hadn't been wiped down thoroughly before we sat down. The absolute silver lining of our evening was our waitress. She was incredibly sweet, highly attentive, and took great care of us. She is truly the reason I am giving 3 stars. She mentioned that they offer a completely different menu for brunch. Because the setting is so pretty and the service was so good, we might give them another chance for brunch down the road, but we likely wouldn't return for dinner. Proof that lighting and plating can hide a lot! Captured these beautiful views last night, even though the dinner itself was a bit of a letdown.

The shrimp wrap, however, was disappointing. It had very little shrimp and seemed to rely heavily on overcooked bacon and an abundance of lettuce, which made it tough to chew and left it lacking balance. The menu offers unique flavors and creative combinations, but in this dish, there seemed to be more emphasis on presentation and concept than substance.
