Our first time coming since the remodel and I truly dislike the new look. 1 star for the remodel 5 stars for the staff and service I love this location as we know all the staff and they know I love me some FSU and fall items and they always guide me too it before we sit lol. I ordered the mama's French toast breakfast with a hamburger steak and my French toast lost weight because it was not made with the same fluffy bread as before . Me and my fiancé decided to go to Cracker Barrel for breakfast. I was shocked with the rebrand. All the old photos are gone. White walls with black trim. It took only 10-15 minutes for a table to be available. I ordered the Momma's Pancake Breakfast with a side of Hamburger Steak and Orange Juice. It was all taste good. Nothing changed there. Came to try their new meal for two special for $20 today. When ended up spending with drinks and two dollar upgrade of chicken tender dippers in our daughter's kids meal with tip just over $50. Overall, the food was still wholesome and good just like before. My husband ordered the chicken and dumplings with a side of macaroni and cheese, and french fries. I ordered the chicken, tender dippers with a side order of their country green beans, and brown gravy with mashed potatoes. Overall, all over our food was tasty, but I think our daughter really enjoyed her chocolate chip pancakes and bacon the most. I can say that we order the one thing to share was the cinnamon roll skillet, but I think we waited too long to eat the cinnamon rolls and they became a little hard on the outside but overall not awful. This place is such a great option for when you are craving some typical American breakfast! This last time I did breakfast for dinner... with their staple of pecan pancakes, eggs and hash brown casserole! Everything was excellent! So good, and very tasty! Our server was also wonderful. Went for breakfast with one of my sons and he wanted to come here. I saw that they have this new cinnamon roll skillet and had to get them. OMG!!!! They were so good. My son and I couldn't stop. Fast, reliable, and good food! Obviously love that you can get breakfast for dinner. The restaurant is huge so you get seated right away. My toddler learned that the pancakes here are amazing and ate a whole plateful! My husband and I got meals of basically all sides and they were great as always. Get the pancakes and has brown casserole, they are great! I got a side of bacon and you can get as little as one piece (something small to satisfy my pregnancy craving) but it was $2 so prob won't do that again. I must say it's been a very long time since I've gone to Cracker Barrel. It hasn't lost its charm and they still have delicious country cooking. The front of the store has lots of good trinkets, candies, toys, and gifts for the whole family. The hostess desk is a bit hidden from all the tall shelves and we were skipped because we didn't know where to go. The guy behind us felt that we were taking too long and was huffing and puffing while trying to go around us. We literally were asking for the hostess. When she came up, she seated the guy who jumped in front of us then promptly sat us next, On a Fall Saturday morning, they were fairly busy but our waitress was great. The menu is quite different from what I remembered but the waitress offered us some good options. I went with the skillet (hash browns, eggs, sausage) and a biscuit. They even serve mimosas! This is the first time I have been into a "renovated" Cracker Barrel. I must say I don't hate it. The tables and chairs are very nice and the booths are a great option! The decor is nice as well, not as old school as before but this remodel, the old logo, and the same great food and this is still one of my staples. Cracker Barrel is always a place I enjoy and this time was no different. We tried a couple of different items than our regular orders, this time we went for the pancake tacos and the hashbrown casserole bowl. We would happily have both of these again and the pancakes were as good as ever. In addition we added apple butter to our biscuits which was a great choice and added a unique taste to our meal. Online order was placed with a pick up time of 5:16pm on 1/16/26. Arrived at 5:15pm and waited until 5:38pm for the order to be handed to me. Returned home before 5:50 pm and had to reheat both main courses. The manager suggested I shop in the men's area taking advantage of their 40% pricing as soon as I arrived. It so happens that I was not on a shopping trip, just wanted to pick up my order at the time I was given. Unfortunately this has been a recurring issue at this location. We will no longer place online orders for pick up at this Cracker Barrel. The manager seemed disingenious about the 20+ minutes late pick up time, although Cracker Barrel was who established the actual time of 5:16 for the order to be ready. Do a better job of setting expectations and then make sure the food is hot when you hand it over. read more

We visited on a Thursday night in the last two weeks. The restaurant was not full. The staff could not get organized enough to seat the two groups in front of us. They were all standing around looking at each other and pointing. We decided to leave after 10 minutes in line. There was plenty of wait staff, plenty of tables. The two groups in front of us had 8 and 6 people. That should be manageable for this type of restaurant. We had stopped coming here just before Covid because the food had gone downhill. My husband and i were seated right in front of the kitchen entry. We ordered an appetizer and our meal right away. The waitress brought our drinks, no muffins, and disappeared for an hour. I motioned the manager and told him we were still waiting on our food and appetizer. He said i'll take care of your meal. To us that meant a free meal. As usual, the food is great. However, let's talk about the upgrade to the decor, yes, an upgrade. It no longer feels dark and cluttered or have the feeling of dust looming around you as we eat. It has the perfect balance of old and new. I think it's a great business move to cater not only to the mature consumer, but to the younger generation as well. The much needed remodel did not affect the quality of the food or the service, and I think those two factors are much more important. Country breakfast that's It's been a minute since I've been to wintergarden Cracker Barrel, and now they have mimosas. Beer and bloody Mary's. This morning I had coffee, grandma's sampler (comes with pancakes, side, 2 eggs and 3 meats.. my sausage patty is not on the photo). and I will say it was all good. Alyssa, our server made sure coffee cups were filled and fresh and always brought her smile with her to the table. This is what I appreciated the most her service. I will say they do not have sugar in the raw, but they do have other sugar for your coffee. We had heard that Cracker Barrel was beginning to close a lot of their locations. While this one is t on the list, we thought we would check it out for nostalgia. Overall, the service was OK but the food was definitely lacking. We arrived on Saturday around noon and it was fairly busy but we were able to be seated right away if we're just a party of two. We also were able to park in their actual lot instead of the parking lot that shared by the strip mall behind them. my husband opted for the grandma sampler that had ham, bacon, eggs, pancake, and sausage and grits. I opted for grandpa's Sunday special which was two eggs, a breakfast side which I got the grits biscuits and gravy and fried chicken. Overall the food lacked any sort of seasoning and any sort of freshness. It was very clear that nothing was made to order. The grits clearly had been sitting under a heat lamp for a while as they had a hard/stiff feeling when you first put your fork into them. There was absolutely no seasoning on the grits. We actually ended up using the butter for the biscuits and each put one in our grits and then adding more salt and pepper. my husband ordered hard, scrambled eggs with cheese (and additional $1.40 up charge) and they came out basically burnt. He let our server know and our server had them fire new eggs. But the new eggs didnt have cheese in then. Our server also didn't even offer to take the cheese up charge off our bill! The eggs were completely flavorless. I had to put a lot of salt and pepper to make them have some flavor. The fried chicken was ok, but again, clearly had been sitting for a while. The gravy for the biscuits was blah...not enough pepper. It had been about 20yrs since my husband had been to a Cracker Barrel and it has been about 10 since I had been...certainly will be that long again based on this experience. read more

I visited the winter Garden Cracker Barrel location yesterday and was sadly disappointed. We arrived and put our name on the waitlist on the app. The wait said 5 minutes and did not get seated until 20 minutes after and we had to check in at the podium. It has been years since I have been here. My (almost) 10 year old daughter has never been so I wanted to take her here because it has a very unique Atmosphere. Initially, my daughter loved this place because they had Michael Jackson's Thriller available in vinyl to purchase for the purpose of displaying....(she loves Michael Jackson) Next suprise was the cookie straw which comes with any milk order. It's a straw with mini cookie beads which eventually drain into the milk. Big hit!! I had an Arnold Palmer which is made with freshly squeezed lemonade and southern sweet tea, very delightful. I ordered the grilled catfish with a light spicy seasoning with a side of broccoli and corn. Intended to be a light(ER) lunch and it was pretty good. I have to confess that I prefer the country store part of Cracker Barrel Old Country Store to the restaurant part. I just find the food to be a mediocre version of southern comfort food and you can definitely find better country comfort food at an independent, local mom-and-pop restaurant. Out of the dining options, I would recommend the breakfast options over their lunch and dinner options. My go-to breakfast item is their eggs and country fried steak. Again, not bad, but you can find better. We just have to remember that Cracker Barrel Country Store is a national chain with an emphasis more on consistency throughout their locations rather than producing a quality food experience. The service here is good. Our server was friendly and engaging and made sure our food was placed before us and that we were all smiling before leaving us with a smile of her own. Again, the food here is nothing extraordinary, but it is not bad. If you are familiar with Cracker Barrel Country Store, you know what you are getting into. read more
