By a mile, this is my favorite Waffle House--and that says a lot. Anyone who knows Waffle House knows consistency can vary, but this location absolutely stands out. It's easily one of the nicest, cleanest, and friendliest Waffle Houses I've ever been to. The hospitality here is genuinely unmatched. The waitress we usually have is incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and pricing and always goes out of her way to suggest the cheapest options based on what we're ordering--which is rare and hugely appreciated. Food comes out fast, hot, and exactly the way it should every time. No shortcuts, no attitude, just solid service and classic Waffle House comfort done right. Scattered , smothered , covered and chunked is how I roll at Waffle House baby! I absolutely love this location and used to be able to walk here from my place, which I love. They know me and my hubby well as it was a tradition to come weekly. I sat at the bar area instead of booth so there was no wait time. I switched up my order and got the All star breakfast with scrambled eggs w/cheese, bacon , grits , cinnamon raisin toast and a side waffle with coffee. My little one ate the waffle and bacon and said it was delicious ! Service here is always amazing and they are all so friendly. They remember you and make you feel like family. The lady Chef was so loud and obnoxious fussing at the waiters and the whole atmosphere in there was a little too loud for me. I only come here cause my dad likes but I personally don't like Waffle House. They really are not good at all. There was someone else's lipstick on the cup they gave me and when she brought me another cup the water had stuff floating in it, disgusting. My parents food was good. The service is fast, coffee is hot, food is consistent, and it's inexpensive. I always get the same thing - the All Star Special and it comes with everything I'm looking for in breakfast. Eggs, Toast, Waffle, Bacon or Sausage, and Grits or Potatoes. I opt to do both because the grits are delicious and so are the potatoes. Scattered. Smothered. Covered. Diced. and Chunked. We haven't been to a Waffle House in over 15 years and I was just craving waffles today. I ordered The classic waffle with a side of bacon and scrambled eggs. The waffle was nice and crispy on the edges and soft in the middle. I really did miss that waffle, and I'm happy I got to order it. The eggs were nice and fluffy and the bacon was cooked to my liking. My husband ordered the egg scramble with sausage and it comes with grits in it as well. It was so filling that he couldn't even finish his meal. The coffee was just OK so next time I would probably just order a soft drink or orange juice. First time visiting a Waffle House since 40 years ago. Ordered a waffle, bacon extra crisp, and coffee. The waffle appeared to be undercooked. It had no crispness at all, the top was separating from the bottom, and the inside was doughy. Maybe that's how Waffle House makes waffles, but it's not for me. As I said, I ordered the bacon extra crisp (as I always do.) There's a difference between crisp & burnt; this bacon was burnt. The coffee was unremarkable, except for not being as hot as it could have been. (I'm not a "burnt Starbucks" guy; I like a medium roast, but with some flavor.) Today I went in just before 2:00 PM and I was the only customer, and there was more than 10 employees behind the counter and sitting at the end of the counter, I sat down and was looking at the menu. One gentleman came over and gave me a drink and told me the waitress would be with me soon. Four other tables came in after me and all those tables were waited on, and two of them were receiving their food already and still no one had come back to take my order, I waited for another 10 more minutes to see if anyone would notice that I still had not been helped while all the employees behind the counter were all standing around and talking and chatting and laughing and joking with each other so I just decided to leave when I realized I was not going to be helped. read more

I have had a little (or a lot) of most things on the menu, including the various types of waffles (plain, peanut butter, pecan), eggs, and meats. The hash browns are thinly shredded, then grilled.. to die for! Kay and Marie are sweet as pie, and go out of their way to make sure your orders are perfect. I came in with a desire for biscuit and gravy. It was not on the menu but the server inquired on my behalf and a co-worker advised it was available just not advertised. I asked if I could get a large beings the regular consisted of one biscuit cut in half. She advised me that it would be double the cost. So it ended being 7.00 for a large order. The order came but had a spoiled taste. I advised the server and she said she was sorry. At this time I would not recommend thier biscuit and gravy to anyone. Went for dinner last night and it was the worst food EVER! None of our orders were right. The food was cold one of the waffles was not even cooked all the way through. When we told the server that a plate of hash browns was half cold she told us that the hot ones had been mixed with a plate from another table that was not eaten. So we got food from another table. The guy cooking had a bad attitude and refused to cover his mouth and nose with his face mask that he wore under his chin. He acted like he was sick or high as a kite and had no clue how to cook the food. When we asked for a manager the server told us there was no manager on duty for the nights she only works the day shift. When my family from California arrives to Florida the first thing they want to go is to Waffle House the next morning. All Waffle House's have the same menu with the quick breakfast service. The ambiance was different when my guest and I arrived to this restaurant. Usually, when you walked in any Waffle House restaurant, everyone welcomed you in, but this particular Saturday (June 24th), morning around 6:30ish, the 7 servers were all gathered together by the register. We sat down and the Cook came over greeted us and asks us if we wanted something to drink. The cook calls and tells the servers that we are ready to order. The male server with Gold hair, with no name tag came over and took our order. He didn't write anything down and he told the cook what we wanted. The cook came over and asks us what we ordered but he wasn't sure what the server told him. The cook brought over our meal and another server came by and checked on our food. The previous server sat down on the other side of the restaurant. The food was good and hot. By the time we finished our breakfast there were 11 servers and 1 cook behind the counter and 9 customers in the restaurant. We tipped the cook for his service. read more

Jo is just not a good server. We have had Her twice now and she is not attentive. We stood there for 6 minutes waiting to be seated as John T always directs us to a table when we walk in. I finally ask her if we can sit anywhere and she shrugs "yeh". Like wtf I'm standing there with kids waiting and you can't say anything. on top of this the table and UNDER was dirty and had food all over . She got our orders wrong: didn't clean up when my daughter accidentally spilled her OJ. just not the experience we expect when go to Waffle House. I usually love this place but I have to downgrade them today for a few things. There is usually a happy, fun atmosphere here but today there was a lot of employee messing around and laughing so that it was hard to get anyone's attention. Most important was the COVID dangers. People were allowed into the restaurant without any masks. The cashier stood at the cash register eating and then returned to work without washing her hands. That's not sanitary any time but we need to be diligent in these pandemic times. The food is always excellent here and we never have any complaints about the quality of the food. read more

Whether arguing loudly with each other in full view of customers (this happened at each of my visits) or standing around ignoring the customers waiting in front of the register to pay(also at each of my visits) or place an order.
