This is their Friday eve Fish Fry.
Hope R.

They also have 2 entrees, the secret menu that's changes every week. Last week's secret entrees were Filet Mignon and Lasagna. Both are delicious. My friend ordered the Mignon and it was perfectly cooked as requested. The fried Haddock was extra good. It came with 2 sides & hush puppies. It's great to try this hidden gem even for their breakfasts and lunches. All the items are so reasonably priced, as well.

I'm a breakfast gal (if you haven't noticed lol), so I can be a little harsh with my assessments. Country House met most, if not all of my requirements. The food was really good, especially my sausage! When I found out they had giant links, I almost broke my neck asking the waitress for the Georgia plate. My bf ordered an omelette, and the one complaint we had was all of the vegetables were sliced, not chopped, so you either got a whole onion, or a whole bell pepper lol. We appreciated the fact that the waitresses are attentive, but not pushy or fake nice. The restaurant is BUSY so they attended to you if you needed help, but they weren't in our faces so we were able to enjoy our food and company without feeling rushed. The one star missing is for the coffee. There was no way to make it taste good, it just was lukewarm and kinda weak, and I like my caffeine like I like my men lol. The restaurant was quaint, and decorated to reflect the season and it had little quotes like "raised on sweet tea and Jesus", which was adorable and added to the experience. We will be back!

Visiting my sister from out of state and she brought me here for breakfast to show me one of her favorite spots! The place has a small parking lot and definitely gives a small town restaurant vibe. You sit yourself and the server comes around to give menus and collect your order. It was early Sunday morning before we were off to Disney World and the place wasn't too packed or busy. We got our food very quickly and I enjoyed everything. I was surprised when the server asked if we wanted our drinks to go and she came back with a FULL to go cup! I excepted to have to put my drink into an empty cup.

This is a nice chill place I'll come here to eat the food sometime. The food is ok but the pancakes are nice and fluffy and their food comes out at a nice time. The worker are very nice and caring.

Ok, so we have driven by here several times and today we finally stopped! Adorable restaurant on the inside, country decorated, a lot of funny signs with great sayings throughout. Wait staff very friendly and very helpful with food selection. Now, let's talk about the food! I got the Western Omelette with home fries and biscuit. I won't say that the omelette was horrible but just not what I like and use to in a Western. The green peppers and onions were raw, which I do not prefer in my omelette. They would be awesome if they were sautéed alittle and in smaller pieces ( green pepper is a Julianne cut, just need to cut down). The cheese tastes like American slices of cheese, which just tasted funny. The home fries were perfectly cut (bite size) and grilled perfectly. The biscuit, well, lack of flavor, just no butter flavor at all and well, kind of dry. Hubby had the Trail Boss breakfast with corn beef hash and hash brown casserole. The hash brown casserole was so delicious, just off the charts good. Eggs were prepared perfectly, over medium. Corn beef hash was good as well, just alittle over cooked. FIL had the Country Boy breakfast. He said everything was very good! I would give this place another try but just not getting the omelette!

Nice little diner type restaurant. Wry good food. Plentiful portions. Friendly, prompt service. Looks like a legion of regulars which is always a nice sign. I've come here twice now for breakfast and am ready to return for the roast beef dinner at some point soon.

Went to the Country House Restaurant for the second time this morning and can share some great takeaways. Service: Welcomed with a "grab a seat anywhere" from the servers. This felt warm, inviting, and honest as they were all serving multiple tables. Our server, Megan, promptly came over with menu's and to take our drink order. It was about 5 minutes later that we had our food out. This fast pace kitchen explains how a very busy restaurant keeps their waits down because with turnover must be essential to feeding their demand. Food: traditional breakfast faire with extra points for crinkle cut fries (my favorite) and a really hearty sausage gravy. In the best way, it was nothing out of the ordinary- which made it comforting. Overall the restaurant offers customers a solid, repeatable, and consistent option for someone on the go looking for a satisfying meal!

We finally made it in. We pass it all the time and we love a good breakfast place. The place is super cute inside, plenty of parking in the lot and the service is phenomenal. Everyone was so nice and the food came out super fast cooked perfectly. I am crazy picky about the cook on my pancakes and most places they come out a bit uncooked in the middle even when they are golden brown on the outside. Well they looked beautiful and then when they came out so fast I was worried. But they were cooked to perfection. So delicious too. Hasbrowns were golden and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. My mom was so excited because she loves liver and onions and she was able to order them at breakfast. She said they were so good. I tried her mashed potatoes and gravy and yum. We need to go back and have lunch sometime soon. Hughley recommend checking them out for breakfast or lunch. Comfort food at its best! Oh and reasonably priced. Four of us two adults and two children at for under $50. Which to me is a great price for the incredible breakfast we all had.

French Dip with Au Jus, fried onion rings, sweetened iced tea & a bottle of ketchup.
Alex G.

This place is a place that I didn't NOT leave unsatisfied. Although I ordered the Iced Tea sweetened, it was absolute perfection. It wasn't one of those sweet teas that you feel like you're gonna contract Diabetes from how sugary sweet it is. Adding the fresh juice of a lemon makes it an extremely satisfying drink. The French Dip was in-_ _ _ _ing-credible. Advice: dip it INTO the Au Jus, that's what it's for. I decided to be brave @ try adding a drop of 2 (or 5) of mustard to the sandwich after, before dipping it into the Au Jus. Lemme tell you, I was EXTREMELY HAPPILY SURPRISED & SEVERELY recommend it to those who ordered this. I went from just being brave, creative to being addicted. If you have an idea, a safe one, GIVE IT A TRY, you might be V CONTENT with it. My Dad let me try some of his Cream of Tomato Soup. It was one of those where immediately after you hace it, you can only think/say, "Ehh, okay, it's not bad." But then, 5 secs later, the flavor, texture settles & you can't even put actual words to it. All you are able to say, after every single swallow is "Oh. * swallows more* "My." *1 more swallow* "LORD." Although I was sad about it but being MINE, I know it's fucking exquisite. I swear, I'm not trying to be funny, it was THAT INCREDIBLY GOOD. COME HERE & GIVE IT A SHOY. I promise you, YOU WON'T REGRET IT.

Always a hit. Solid biscuits, sausage and gravy . Not a fan of their coffee but I love their ice tea. Pancakes look yummy - next time!

Good food in Ocoee. I am a fan of the 4 Rivers chain of…read morerestaurants. This is a popular Florida-based barbecue chain that was founded by John Rivers. It began in 2004 as a "Barbecue Ministry" when he hosted a backyard cookout fundraiser to help a local family whose daughter was battling cancer. In October 2009, he opened the first official 4 Rivers Smokehouse location in Winter Park, Florida. The restaurant gained a loyal following for its smoked brisket and Southern sides. Fast forward to today, when the chain has grown to around 15-23 locations. It is still family-owned and continues to expand while staying rooted in its community-focused origins. I have visited 3 different locations and like atmosphere, food, prices and style. This location is to the northwest of the SR 50 and Vineland road intersection. There is plenty of parking. The inside is a counter where you order your food moving from left to right and pay at the end. There are three sets of seating: by the counter, in the next room and outside on the patio. They have serve yourself drinks in the second room along with to-go containers. The food is a mix of barbeque beef and wings and various sides. I got a pulled pork sandwich, fries and tea. It came out quick and was excellent. The place was very clean and the staff was super friendly. I definitely recommend for anyone wanting a good meal, at a decent price, in a pleasant atmosphere in the Ocoee area.

Our waiter, Tim, came right to our table and he was immediately warm and personable. We ended up speaking and joking with him throughout the meal and it made it that much more enjoyable. We ordered mac & cheese, a biscuit, broccolini l, coleslaw and two chicken burgers. For one of the chicken burgers, we asked for grilled chicken instead of fried chicken and they were more than happy to accommodate. Both the grilled and fried chicken were incredibly tender and the sandwiches were so tasty. The mac & cheese was some of the best I've ever had. It was creamy and cheesy with a layer of baked cheese on top. The coleslaw was also perfectly sweet and crunchy. The biscuit was cheesy, warm and flaky. To end our email, Tim brought us a piece of hummingbird cake on the house, and we really appreciated the gesture. Between the food and the service, this was a fantastic experience and I can't wait to go back.

I really wanted to like this place but it was a swing and a miss. Parking was easy during the Saturday afternoon we visited. On busier occasions, they do offer valet parking. Nearby businesses share parking so if it's a peak time, you may have to walk a little to the door. Not a long wait before we were seated. Spacious with tables and booth seating. There is a bar and televisions here. Our hostess was nice and offered insight into the menu. For the appetizers, we started with oysters Rockefeller, and fried gator tail. It's a red flag when places smother items in a sauce instead of letting it stand on it's own. No complaints on the oysters and the gator tail was given previously frozen vibes. For the entree, I got the shrimp po' boy. The bread was hearty and held onto the six lil shrimp that they felt were enough. When the ratio of shrimp, bread and topping aren't portioned right, you end up with gaps of the flavor when you're eating. What sent me is the shrimp weren't properly deveined. If you took a biology class, you know that black line running along the back is the shrimp's waste system. I'm not eating that. The hostess saw me just sitting there looking at my food and asked if I wanted something different. Hard pass. Even the waffle fries were bad. They weren't piping hot and dried out inside. I made due with the sweet tea which they did well with. The manager came by and offered to remake or replace my meal. I appreciate his efforts but I didn't want anything at that point. The bathrooms were clean. Nice enough people but the kitchen didn't get it right.

I've been wondering for a while where to get some good stick to your ribs so food, so when my wife told us that Nikki's Place reached out to her to come try some authentic soul food, I had to join her. So we ordered.. smothered pork chops, fried catfish and shrimp, lemon butter chicken wings, red rice, Collard greens, Lima beans, black eyed peas, cornbread, candied yams, mac and cheese, and some onion fries.. with some sweet tea. I want to tell you, every bite I took had me closing my eyes and smiling. My only complaint was the lima beans were a little bit salty, but when I ate it with everything else it didn't really matter. The rice and peas were overall good but tasted a little on the hard side. The chicken though!
