I checked out Harlow Grove with my girls for Brunch. We made a reservation for 5 but, as we started to arrive & sit in the booth they gave us we quickly realized it would be very cramped and uncomfortable to eat so we let our waitress know. She spoke with her manager but, all they had to offer was the outside seating. We were on the fence about it because it was 93 degrees and there was a heat warning issued that day but, our waitress insured us that it was umbrellas and fans and they would make sure to have us covered so we moved . Once we got situated outside we began ordering . We started with drinks . 4 of us ordered the zero proof wild heart & that drink was so delicious . We also ordered the free spirited both drinks were so refreshing. We ordered starters to share . Tuna crispy rice , Cheese + short rib dip , crab cake . They came back to let us know they were sold out of the crab cake. We also ordered the pastry tower. For our meals I ordered the chicken Caesar croissant and which came with fries and I upgraded the fries to truffle. The fries come in a cute holder . We had shrimp & grits , chicken & waffles, grilled cheese & tomato. We had zero complaints about our food everything was delicious! Our waitress surprised us with a bird cage which is 6 shots in a bird cage for all the inconveniences we had that day . The restaurant ambience was busy & beautiful and the outside patio has beautiful picture opportunities. I will def be back . I would love to try dinner next time. The staff were vey nice. They had an Amazing DJ his set list kept us dancing even from outside !

Had an early dinner here on a Saturday. I want to start by acknowledging the beautiful ambience inside. The lighting is moody (even when it's still bright outside), the grand staircase and theming are all gorgeous. We were seated upstairs outside on the patio. I would say that during the day, I would recommend sitting inside for a better environment. The patio I'm sure is much prettier after dark. Our server was lovely. We ordered a cocktail and realized once it came that it may trigger an allergic reaction for my partner (Dime Piece), and she comped it for us. The Pistache, yo was very good, but the mezcal definitely dominated. My server did warn me about that. We ordered the bread service. It was pretty good, nothing crazy, but it is just bread. My boyfriend ordered the Chicken Alfredo. SO GOOD. Very creamy and cheesy and the chicken was cooked well. I was honestly jealous of his order once I tried it. I got the Chop Chicken Salad. I love how everything was chopped and easy to eat. It was light and refreshing. Overall, I would come back! I am really eager to try out brunch here.

Absolutely amazing experience at Harlow Grove! Every dish we tried was delicious and full of flavor. Originally we sat at the bar to have a few cocktails before being seated at the table. The lemon thyme chicken was perfectly seasoned and tender, the steak frites were cooked perfectly, and the short braised cheddar dip was rich, savory, and so good. To top it all off, the Nutella lava cake was the perfect dessert -- warm, decadent, and absolutely delicious. The espresso martini was also incredible -- smooth, balanced, and one of the best I've had. Great atmosphere, amazing food, and excellent drinks. Definitely a spot we'll be coming back to very very soon !

Very cute and trendy spot, I'd probably come back for drinks on the rooftop once it gets cooler but definitely don't see us becoming regulars. The vibes are fun and intimate, we were seated on a couch that wasn't the easiest for eating but I saw most tables were a booth or chairs so those will probably be better! When they say "stay awhile" they mean it... mostly because they'll take awhile so prepare to be there for a couple hours! Not necessarily a good or bad thing, just depends on how long you'd like to wait for everything. The appetizers were mid - the ricotta had a nice presentation, the crostinis could've been warmed up or something. The tuna crispy rice had so much potential because the flavor was there but the rice was so hard and crunchy and the presentation was a miss. You'd think they forgot to add one piece, they had 2 slanted pieces and one straight idk - not a big deal. Drinks were good, I enjoyed my HG espresso martini! Entrees were also good, the only comment for my ribs was that I wish they were hot! My husbands meal was much hotter. The broccolini could use some seasoning. I liked the dessert, a fun mix on cheesecake with the oreo crust! The host confirmed twice that we had a birthday so I was expecting a little happy birthday on the dessert as I saw on others photos but no biggie. I think the spot has a lot of potential and hope they take the feedback and improve!

We celebrated my husband's birthday at Harlow's Grove, and it was the perfect place for a special dinner. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful, with a warm and elegant atmosphere that made the evening feel extra special. For dinner, I had the salmon, which I loved, and the filet mignon was incredibly tender and absolutely delicious. We also shared a Caesar salad, and it was fresh and flavorful. The service was on point from beginning to end was attentive, friendly, and never overbearing. Between the beautiful ambiance, great food, and excellent service, it was a great experience.

Harlow Grove is a great addition to the Winter Garden dining scene. It's just a couple blocks south of Plant Street, where most of the other restaurants are, but it has a completely different vibe. The building is absolutely gorgeous. I felt like I was in a trendy new restaurant in Chicago. It's visually stunning inside, and the acoustic design is pretty good. There's a nice variety of seating from bar to table to booth. We loved our corner table in the nook. The menu is really well thought out. It offers a nice variety of appetizers, salads, and main dishes along with some handhelds. Everything was very appealing, so it was difficult to decide where to start. We settled upon sharing a Caesar salad and the bread service. The Caesar was excellent. The crunch of toasted parmesan on the top was particularly appealing. The bread service was a pull-apart loaf served with two different butters. It was also very good. It might be the only thing on the menu that I thought was maybe overpriced for what it was, but everything else on the menu is extremely reasonably priced. For our second course, we shared the bisque, a thick truffle-infused potage, and the shrimp cocktail: a conventional assortment of large fresh prawns served with cocktail sauce and horseradish. We enjoyed both of these. For entrees, my wife had the PEI mussels and I had the filet mignon. She enjoyed her muscles, although they weren't to my taste, but the filet mignon was wonderful. Perfectly seared and served with truffle mashed potatoes that were like the big brother of the bisque we had earlier. Service provided by Renato was fabulous. He was not just a server but a delightful host whose recommendations were greatly appreciated. This restaurant has a sizable cocktail list and a compact but extremely well-thought-out wine list. I can't think of another wine list that has a higher hit ratio in terms of wines that I would personally choose to put on a wine list, and yet the overall wine pricing is extremely fair. I also sampled two cocktails which were both standouts. The Fancy Martini is a spectacularly complex vodka-based martini with a terrific balance of pepper and saline flavors. And the caviar-stuffed olives that came with it were a nice bonus. After dinner, I had the espresso martini, which is also very good and unusual in its incorporation of pistachio. Definitely worth trying. We love this new addition to Winter Garden. It's distinct from all the other restaurants in Winter Garden and has already obviously found a tremendous fan base because it was busy every moment that we were there on a Wednesday evening.

Food was absolutely delightful with many great flavors. Drinks took a bit to come out because they were backed up, but the staff was so incredibly friendly and attentive letting us know updates on where our drink order stood, and offering us additional crostinis for our cheese dip while we waited. The vibes of this spot also were immaculate. Loved the food and can't wait to try more on another visit.

We booked Harlow Grove for the first time for my 34th birthday dinner (5 months after it's initial opening) We like to give a new opening some time to work out the kinks before trying it ourselves. The space is admittedly vibey. With two story dining. Two bars. Layered designs, and moody lighting (as well as a truly gorgeous patio-definitely book at night). But, while the space is admittedly cool, they definitely still have some kinks to work out. While we've heard nothing but "book early" & "it's a hard reservation to get" we booked about a week in advance and there were *many* openings for a Wednesday evening. At the time of writing this I checked again there are at least 5 lunch openings for today and one dinner opening (this is a Friday) so I wouldn't believe that. We were celebrating a birthday so we noted that on our reservation. There are 3 different dining zones-the lounge which consists of cocktail tables with stools and sofa seating next to the main bar which is enormous. The main dining area which is upstairs (accessible by climbing the massive statement staircase but there's also an elevator) & the terrace or patio. There's a massive tree that completely wrapped in lights and it is quite beautiful. We'll likely book that next visit. We booked a table upstairs in the min dining area. We checked in for our 6:30 reservation 10 min early. They had a hard time finding our reservation and had to ask for the name 3 times. When they found it they confirmed that we were celebrating a birthday. This was the only point in the evening that this was an acknowledged aside from my mentioning it in passing to a random server who I stopped to ask to take a photo of us. While I realize no one had to celebrate us, it is sort of standard to at least do something, but nope. It's worth noting that the table we were eventually sat next to also had a birthday and 3 separate people stopped by their table to say happy birthday. So that was interesting. Unfortunately, we were initially seated in the lounge at a double cafe table with two backless stools and a very low very deep set couch. Was it a beautiful table for a drink or a girls night or first date? Sure. But for dinner, really not realistic or comfortable. Especially for us as both my husband & I have back problems. Dining at a table that was parallel with our sternum was not going to work (not to mention it not what we booked) so after sitting for a about a minute, I went back over to the host stand and said this table doesn't work for us and this is not what I booked. I was initially told I could sit outside or wait for the next opening at the table I booked-the next opening was 9pm. Our reservation was for 6:30. So I said okay we'll keep it but again this is not what we booked. I had my phone in my hand and the camera open as I intended to vlog my birthday dinner which she eyed as I turned to walk back. A few min later a different host came over and apologized profusely and was like "the system is a little finicky sometimes" (...okay) & began to lead us up the stairs to the table we booked. So clearly those table were in fact available. Once we got upstairs, there were at least 5 empty tables. 2 of which stayed empty throughout the entire evening. Hmmm On our way upstairs, after changing our table, the fire alarm went off. I stayed inside for a bit thinking it would turn off immediately but no it continued for about 5 minutes. So we went outside to wait. Before doing so I saw the scowling on a few staff members faces and stopped one who also looked annoyed & asked if this was happening often-I was told it was the second time that evening... I know that they can't necessarily control this however we're 3 strikes so far and we haven't even been seated at our table. Once the alarm sound turned off we went back in and we're seated but the strobing light from the alarm continued until we got our first drink so maybe a good 20 min (see video) The Order: We ordered still tap water & were brought a bottle of still Acqua Panna for $7. Totally fine for us. May not be for everyone. EDEN SPRITZ $13. This was described as "very sweet" by our server. It's not super sweet. More of a lightly sweet citrusy flavor. Would absolutely order again. INTO THE WILD $15 really interesting. Good presentation. We were both surprised at how much the cucumber and celery flavor came through (in a good way) would order again WHIPPED RICOTTA $15 The proportions are off in the best way. We ended up with a ton of left over ricotta. Negroni $14 My go to cocktail. I can say this was one of the worst Negroni's I've ever had. 0/10. PAVETTE: Pinot Noir, California $11g | $40b we liked this so much we ended up getting a bottle. CRISPY CHICKEN SANDWICH $19 okay this was maybe one of the best chicken sandwiches I've we had? FRENCH DIP: $24. I had one bite & it was not for me. Husband loved it though COOKIES & CREAM: $12 good flavor. Not dense enough for us

We have been here twice. First it is really gorgeous inside. The little details make the decor something truly special. There are two floors. Each floor has a bar, the bigger one is downstairs. There is outdoor seating on the second floor as well. Opens at 4pm and both times people are waiting at the door for them to open. The bartenders are amazing here. Laurel, Robbie, Tyler, and Shawn are talented with craft cocktails even if it's not in the menu. They make you feel very welcome and are knowledgeable about the menu. They also have the ability to make cocktails for you that are not on the menu. They do their best work when you ask them to create one of their own. The food. All the food is high quality ingredients. Pricing for entrees are more than reasonable. The apps are pricey side but they do offer happy hour on some items. My favorite apps so far is the shrimp cocktail and the crab cake. I can't wait to go back to try the scallop entree and Thyme Chicken.

What a fun and high quality addition to downtown Winter Garden! The ambiance is unbeatable - whether you're dining out on the patio with the string lights and tree branches or inside with their tasteful decor, the vibes here are elevated with great attention to detail. Cocktails were excellent and good value! I was impressed to see some reasonable cocktail prices on quality drinks. I loved the Eden Spritz! They had mocktail options as well at very reasonable prices. We started with the croquettes, which were loved by the table! I enjoyed the salmon as my entree - while the mains sit at a higher price point, the scratch kitchen and quality made it worthwhile. The salmon had great flavor, the truffle potatoes added exactly what I was looking for, and the whole dish came together nicely. Probably the best salmon I've ordered out in awhile! The key lime dessert was fabulous - very unique with its torched coconut meringue and red berry mousse inside. Rich, unique, and great to share! Our server was attentive and gave us great details about the menu options while providing suggestions. This is a perfect date night spot or night out with the gals!

Visited Harlow grove for the very first time last night and can tell you it's truly amazing. This is a great after work activity for sure or even a late night casual activity! The vibe is definitely great with dimmed lighting, they offer booth, bar and upstairs seating. Services were great Valerie took care of us ! They had a DJ which play music which was definitely the vibe. Anyways foods and drinks great! No complaints on that 10/10 on the food

The atmosphere is amazing and I would say it's great for a date night and even family special occasions, we brought our 11year old here for her birthday dinner and the staff was amazing. The food is incredible. I had the fettuccini Alfredo and the house made pasta was delicious! Cocktails are all fresh and hand crafted. Will absolutely be coming here again!

LOVE this new spot in Winter Garden! The vibes are a 10 out of 10 with a beautiful design carried down to the napkins and takeout bags. They did not cut any corners with the ambiance! The mahi sandwich was delicious and so were the fries that it came with! The shrimp salad was really tasty too but probably not something I would get again. The REAL star of the show was the goat cheese croquettes.. deliciousness. Our serve was very friendly and let us know they will be expanding to do brunch soon! I can't wait to come back for drinks and apps on their beautiful outdoor patio.

When we arrived, the live entertainment was setting up for later that evening. It was actually nice having the calm contrast to what was happening in the streets currently. Food here seems fairly high-end; it's Market-to-table so everything is a bit pricy. Appetizers start at $14, one of their most expensive appetizers is Seared Foie Gras ($26). If you're not a big spender, they do have Chicken Wings or BBQ Short Rib Sliders for $14, and a Market Burger for $16. If you're looking for something a little more special, they have Filet Mignon ($86), Lamb Shank ($42), Braised Beef Short Ribs ($46), and Iberico Pork ($76). Most of their specialty drinks will run you between $12-$14. Beers are between $6-$9 and non-alcoholic drinks anywhere between $2.50-$8. We didn't stay too long because we were bopping around checking out different places during the festival, but if you are looking for a great place to take a date or have a nice evening out with friends, listening to great live music and Jazz this is a premier spot in the Winter Garden area.

It might not be Michelin Star but it should be or close to it. Do yourselves a favor and go get spoiled. Bon appétit.!

I don't give five stars easily, so read my reviews and see how many times I give hard reviews. The ambience and the service is great, you consider at the bar talking to Kyle and Savannah or facing the windows and watching the sunset. All a very quaint Winter Garden experience check it out .

Plus, seasonally, it's a Pumpkin Patch and Christmas Tree Farm! The large deck includes lush plants, picnic tables, cozy Adirondack chairs, and is bookended by a fabulous bar and stage for live music. I cannot say enough good things about this space and its owners. They are part of the push to create community in Apopka through offering engaging quality businesses and venues (these are the people behind the future Hall's on 5th food hall right on the same street!). I have been coming to Propagate since we started building our home and have really enjoyed seeing their business flourish over the past few years. They have a loyal customer in me and I cannot wait to see what's next. I digress, the service at The Shade House is stellar, the cocktails are creative, and the vibe is an extension of Propagates but with some added spice. You guys outdid yourselves on this one.

The place was…read morea shit show but the food was decent, the drinks were cheap and they were the only outdoor bar open past 11pm in Winter Garden. Well that all changed over the years as more places opened and competition got stiffer. When the original owner, Derelict Dave, sold to Luis & Gio a few years ago the place got going again. But when the "Bridges Brothers" bought the place it was awful timing as decades of neglect to the plumbing and equipment made the place an Inspection review nightmare! They pumped some money into revamping the motif of the place but all they did was just raise prices it seemed. The quality and choices of food went downhill and the staff was subpar. The initial training of the employees was minimal and it showed in the operational inefficiency. 10 months after opening they bite the bullet and close the doors to stop the hemorrhaging of cash. Another big problem is the landlord is notoriously, cheap, and impossible to deal with so good luck to anyone else who tries to lease out that spot as they will pay through the nose with a zero Tennant improvement!

He said that it was not the cleanest or nicest establishment but that it had since then gotten new management. Parking was ample since the lot is for several other establishments. When we pulled up I was pleasantly surprised by how it evoked the British culture with its styling. The inside was warmly lit and they were having a Bingo night with a $5 entry. We were less interested in the bingo night and more fixated on getting fed. We decided to sit down at the bar as most of the tables were full with families, couples, and small groups of 4-6 people. We were helped by the bartender who was patient and gave us time to take in the ambience and the menu. We decided to share an appetizer and entree. Amused by the name we decided on the Lush Mush. Yummmmm....the port reduction... delectable. For those hesitating on this selection because of the blue cheese fear not! It was not strong but made mild and gentle by the cream. The shepherds pie was comforting and satisfying. A hearty farmer's style meal. We were satisfied. The establishment was clean. We briefly explored the outside bar area which had multiple TV's for sports aficionados. It's a great locals spot for this are of Winter Garden which is a little ways from the main area. There is a secret room to explore which I didn't get a chance to enter. Hopefully, if I return on a weekend it will be open and I'll get to see what is inside. All-in-all I recommend this establishment. With the new management it's off to a great start. They had different events each night including live music, so come on over and stay awhile!

Food and drinks are easy to get. Your server comes right to your bay, or you can order at the bar. We tried the mozzarella sticks, sliders, cheese pizza, and margherita pizza. The food was decent. Nothing particularly memorable, but perfectly fine for snacking while enjoying drinks and hitting balls. There are also plenty of things to do beyond the driving range. Kids will enjoy the small play area, and there's ping pong and a putting green, making it easy to entertain everyone in your group. The view really is the star of the show. It's beautiful, and being up on one of Clermont's rolling hills gives you a nice breeze, even on a hot Florida summer day. Who knew Florida had hills? After a couple of hours, though, the heat definitely caught up with us. We planned to cool off by having dinner inside, but on a Saturday evening the restaurant was packed. We probably could have waited for a table, but the indoor dining area was quite warm, so we ended up heading somewhere else for dinner. Overall, we had a great time. It's a fun outing for both kids and adults, and I'd definitely recommend it for an afternoon or evening with friends or family. Just keep in mind that during the hotter months, you'll probably want to go later in the day or on a cooler evening.

One thing that really sets Halls on 5th apart is the bar. Unlike many food halls that only offer beer and wine, they have a full-service bar with an excellent selection of cocktails and spirits. The bartender was friendly, attentive, and provided outstanding service, which made the experience even better. Between the variety of food options, the full bar, and the great hospitality, Halls on 5th is a place I'll definitely be returning to. If you're in Apopka, it's well worth the visit.
