Servers have little to no help clearing table etc...our server was waiting on a total of 26 people at the same time ‍ No one is that good .. she had our 7 top and two other 6 tops and was second server on a party of 10 .... That's just too much for one person . No manager approached our table at any time to see how things were going . That's a fail . Salads were served while dirty appetizers were still at the table . While the restaurant is small, it makes for a very intimate dining experience, perfect for a date night after sundown. Our service was top tier (I especially love the elevated uniforms- it's different), and the food and drinks were absolutely a treat! I had the salmon dish and entirely cleaned my plate. We made a reservation for 5 but, as we started to arrive & sit in the booth they gave us we quickly realized it would be very cramped and uncomfortable to eat so we let our waitress know. She spoke with her manager but, all they had to offer was the outside seating. We were on the fence about it because it was 93 degrees and there was a heat warning issued that day but, our waitress insured us that it was umbrellas and fans and they would make sure to have us covered so we moved . Once we got situated outside we began ordering . We started with drinks . 4 of us ordered the zero proof wild heart & that drink was so delicious . We also ordered the free spirited both drinks were so refreshing. We ordered starters to share . Tuna crispy rice , Cheese + short rib dip , crab cake . They came back to let us know they were sold out of the crab cake. We also ordered the pastry tower. For our meals I ordered the chicken Caesar croissant and which came with fries and I upgraded the fries to truffle. The fries come in a cute holder . We had shrimp & grits , chicken & waffles, grilled cheese & tomato. We had zero complaints about our food everything was delicious! Our waitress surprised us with a bird cage which is 6 shots in a bird cage for all the inconveniences we had that day . The restaurant ambience was busy & beautiful and the outside patio has beautiful picture opportunities. I will def be back . I would love to try dinner next time. The staff were vey nice. Had an early dinner here on a Saturday. I want to start by acknowledging the beautiful ambience inside. The lighting is moody (even when it's still bright outside), the grand staircase and theming are all gorgeous. We were seated upstairs outside on the patio. I would say that during the day, I would recommend sitting inside for a better environment. The patio I'm sure is much prettier after dark. Our server was lovely. We ordered a cocktail and realized once it came that it may trigger an allergic reaction for my partner (Dime Piece), and she comped it for us. The Pistache, yo was very good, but the mezcal definitely dominated. My server did warn me about that. We ordered the bread service. It was pretty good, nothing crazy, but it is just bread. Absolutely amazing experience at Harlow Grove! Every dish we tried was delicious and full of flavor. Originally we sat at the bar to have a few cocktails before being seated at the table. The lemon thyme chicken was perfectly seasoned and tender, the steak frites were cooked perfectly, and the short braised cheddar dip was rich, savory, and so good. To top it all off, the Nutella lava cake was the perfect dessert -- warm, decadent, and absolutely delicious. Very cute and trendy spot, I'd probably come back for drinks on the rooftop once it gets cooler but definitely don't see us becoming regulars. The vibes are fun and intimate, we were seated on a couch that wasn't the easiest for eating but I saw most tables were a booth or chairs so those will probably be better! When they say "stay awhile" they mean it... mostly because they'll take awhile so prepare to be there for a couple hours! Not necessarily a good or bad thing, just depends on how long you'd like to wait for everything. The appetizers were mid - the ricotta had a nice presentation, the crostinis could've been warmed up or something. The tuna crispy rice had so much potential because the flavor was there but the rice was so hard and crunchy and the presentation was a miss. You'd think they forgot to add one piece, they had 2 slanted pieces and one straight idk - not a big deal. Drinks were good, I enjoyed my HG espresso martini! Entrees were also good, the only comment for my ribs was that I wish they were hot! My husbands meal was much hotter. The broccolini could use some seasoning. I liked the dessert, a fun mix on cheesecake with the oreo crust! We came for brunch. We ordered the burger, we devoured. I am only knocking a star because it was very loud, there were plenty of tables open but we were told it was a 2 hour wait, and the ranch tasted like kens ranch. lol The bar staff were extremely friendly, made a delicious pistachio iced coffee that MUST be put on the menu! Harlow Grove is a great addition to the Winter Garden dining scene. It's just a couple blocks south of Plant Street, where most of the other restaurants are, but it has a completely different vibe. The building is absolutely gorgeous. I felt like I was in a trendy new restaurant in Chicago. It's visually stunning inside, and the acoustic design is pretty good. There's a nice variety of seating from bar to table to booth. We loved our corner table in the nook. The menu is really well thought out. It offers a nice variety of appetizers, salads, and main dishes along with some handhelds. Everything was very appealing, so it was difficult to decide where to start. We settled upon sharing a Caesar salad and the bread service. The Caesar was excellent. The crunch of toasted parmesan on the top was particularly appealing. The bread service was a pull-apart loaf served with two different butters. It was also very good. It might be the only thing on the menu that I thought was maybe overpriced for what it was, but everything else on the menu is extremely reasonably priced. For our second course, we shared the bisque, a thick truffle-infused potage, and the shrimp cocktail: a conventional assortment of large fresh prawns served with cocktail sauce and horseradish. We enjoyed both of these. For entrees, my wife had the PEI mussels and I had the filet mignon. She enjoyed her muscles, although they weren't to my taste, but the filet mignon was wonderful. Perfectly seared and served with truffle mashed potatoes that were like the big brother of the bisque we had earlier. Service provided by Renato was fabulous. He was not just a server but a delightful host whose recommendations were greatly appreciated. This restaurant has a sizable cocktail list and a compact but extremely well-thought-out wine list. I can't think of another wine list that has a higher hit ratio in terms of wines that I would personally choose to put on a wine list, and yet the overall wine pricing is extremely fair. I also sampled two cocktails which were both standouts. The Fancy Martini is a spectacularly complex vodka-based martini with a terrific balance of pepper and saline flavors. And the caviar-stuffed olives that came with it were a nice bonus. After dinner, I had the espresso martini, which is also very good and unusual in its incorporation of pistachio. Definitely worth trying. We love this new addition to Winter Garden. It's distinct from all the other restaurants in Winter Garden and has already obviously found a tremendous fan base because it was busy every moment that we were there on a Wednesday evening. read more

We booked Harlow Grove for the first time for my 34th birthday dinner (5 months after it's initial opening) We like to give a new opening some time to work out the kinks before trying it ourselves. The space is admittedly vibey. With two story dining. Two bars. Layered designs, and moody lighting (as well as a truly gorgeous patio-definitely book at night). But, while the space is admittedly cool, they definitely still have some kinks to work out. While we've heard nothing but "book early" & "it's a hard reservation to get" we booked about a week in advance and there were *many* openings for a Wednesday evening. At the time of writing this I checked again there are at least 5 lunch openings for today and one dinner opening (this is a Friday) so I wouldn't believe that. We were celebrating a birthday so we noted that on our reservation. There are 3 different dining zones-the lounge which consists of cocktail tables with stools and sofa seating next to the main bar which is enormous. The main dining area which is upstairs (accessible by climbing the massive statement staircase but there's also an elevator) & the terrace or patio. There's a massive tree that completely wrapped in lights and it is quite beautiful. We'll likely book that next visit. We booked a table upstairs in the min dining area. We checked in for our 6:30 reservation 10 min early. They had a hard time finding our reservation and had to ask for the name 3 times. When they found it they confirmed that we were celebrating a birthday. This was the only point in the evening that this was an acknowledged aside from my mentioning it in passing to a random server who I stopped to ask to take a photo of us. While I realize no one had to celebrate us, it is sort of standard to at least do something, but nope. It's worth noting that the table we were eventually sat next to also had a birthday and 3 separate people stopped by their table to say happy birthday. So that was interesting. Unfortunately, we were initially seated in the lounge at a double cafe table with two backless stools and a very low very deep set couch. Was it a beautiful table for a drink or a girls night or first date? Sure. But for dinner, really not realistic or comfortable. Especially for us as both my husband & I have back problems. Dining at a table that was parallel with our sternum was not going to work (not to mention it not what we booked) so after sitting for a about a minute, I went back over to the host stand and said this table doesn't work for us and this is not what I booked. I was initially told I could sit outside or wait for the next opening at the table I booked-the next opening was 9pm. Our reservation was for 6:30. So I said okay we'll keep it but again this is not what we booked. I had my phone in my hand and the camera open as I intended to vlog my birthday dinner which she eyed as I turned to walk back. A few min later a different host came over and apologized profusely and was like "the system is a little finicky sometimes" (...okay) & began to lead us up the stairs to the table we booked. So clearly those table were in fact available. Once we got upstairs, there were at least 5 empty tables. 2 of which stayed empty throughout the entire evening. Hmmm On our way upstairs, after changing our table, the fire alarm went off. I stayed inside for a bit thinking it would turn off immediately but no it continued for about 5 minutes. So we went outside to wait. Before doing so I saw the scowling on a few staff members faces and stopped one who also looked annoyed & asked if this was happening often-I was told it was the second time that evening... I know that they can't necessarily control this however we're 3 strikes so far and we haven't even been seated at our table. Once the alarm sound turned off we went back in and we're seated but the strobing light from the alarm continued until we got our first drink so maybe a good 20 min (see video) The Order: We ordered still tap water & were brought a bottle of still Acqua Panna for $7. Totally fine for us. May not be for everyone. EDEN SPRITZ $13. This was described as "very sweet" by our server. It's not super sweet. More of a lightly sweet citrusy flavor. Would absolutely order again. INTO THE WILD $15 really interesting. Good presentation. We were both surprised at how much the cucumber and celery flavor came through (in a good way) would order again WHIPPED RICOTTA $15 The proportions are off in the best way. We ended up with a ton of left over ricotta. Negroni $14 My go to cocktail. I can say this was one of the worst Negroni's I've ever had. 0/10. PAVETTE: Pinot Noir, California $11g | $40b we liked this so much we ended up getting a bottle. CRISPY CHICKEN SANDWICH $19 okay this was maybe one of the best chicken sandwiches I've we had? I visited this restaurant on the weekend for brunch to celebrate a friend's birthday. The ambience was very nice--there was a DJ and the interior design was good. There were a several negatives: the hostess sat us at a very uncomfortable table that was set for 4 people with short stools. The table was against the wall and just extremely uncomfortable. The hostess moved us after we requested, but she was very reluctant to move us. Despite it being my friend's birthday, there was no nice little anything with a candle. The food was OK, nothing amazing. We ordered all of the toasts, and the burrata toast was really good. The avocado toast was ok, didn't taste very fresh; it was like avocado paste and not real avocados. We did not care for the ricotta toast. The cheese balls were also not our favorite; we only ate 33%. And the frittata needed seasoning in the eggs and veggies. We have been here twice. First it is really gorgeous inside. The little details make the decor something truly special. There are two floors. Each floor has a bar, the bigger one is downstairs. There is outdoor seating on the second floor as well. Opens at 4pm and both times people are waiting at the door for them to open. The bartenders are amazing here. Laurel, Robbie, Tyler, and Shawn are talented with craft cocktails even if it's not in the menu. They make you feel very welcome and are knowledgeable about the menu. They also have the ability to make cocktails for you that are not on the menu. They do their best work when you ask them to create one of their own. The food. All the food is high quality ingredients. Pricing for entrees are more than reasonable. The apps are pricey side but they do offer happy hour on some items. What a fun and high quality addition to downtown Winter Garden! We visited on their grand opening day 3/11/26. This is located a bit off the beaten path of Plant St but only by about a block or 2. It is walking distance to the parking garage. There is a small shared parking lot behind the restaurant. We arrived around 9 pm and had no problems parking there. The restaurant front exterior is sleek, modern and clean looking. Once you step inside, you will see a large u-shaped bar straight ahead and a staircase to your left with the hostess stand and seating to the right. There is a seated statue of a tiger or similar wildcat greeting you at the bottom of the stairs. This unique and fun animal theme can be found throughout this beautiful restaurant, even with some of the cocktail glasses shaped like zebras and the like. We were seated upstairs, where they have another bar, albeit smaller then the one downstairs. We were hoping to sit outside but we were informed that they don't seat new parties after 9 pm due to a local noise ordinance. However, there were a few occupied tables outside that were still dining just about the entire time we were there. I did get a chance after we ate to walk on the patio and take a few pictures. It gives off a magical vibe with illuminated branches enveloping the patio, creating an inviting atmosphere. We were seated on the 2nd floor, along the banister, overlooking the center of the restaurant. A very large animal themed chandelier sits above the large bar downstairs, which made for an interesting talking point. The seating was very comfortable and our server was friendly, helpful and promptly took our orders. I was able to swap out the fried chicken with grilled chicken in my sandwich. It was deliciously savory and had a hint of sweetness with the pesto, arugula and honey ricotta cheese adding unique flavor notes to my sandwich. Feels like you are somewhere else ( New York Rooftop Vibes) The waiters and bartenders were so friendly and funny, they suggested to try the burger. We tried Harlow grove not knowing what to expect. Based on our research we saw a lovely ambiance, a cool theme, and a menu everyone could find something to love off of. Our only mistake was failing to make a reservation because on the weekends they are fully booked out. Luckily, we got a sweet spot at the bar and we're still able to enjoy our night. I started off trying their mocktail options, free spirited and wild heart, which were both refreshing! The bread service was the perfect hold over until our mains: fettuccine Alfredo and 24HR ribs. We were pleasantly surprised to find out that all the menu items are made from scratch in house and you could taste it in the food. Specifically, though we had bread, pasta, and a rack of ribs, plus the c&c cheesecake, we left feeling satisfied but NOT FULL! We hit up their happy hour and had the goat cheese croquettes which had a sweet guava sauce on top, the crispy duck fat fries, and the short rib empanadas. All were delicious and around $10 each. I had the happy hour Hugo Spritz which was $7. My husband and I split the short rib for dinner and it was MASSIVE. The topping of the night was a 12-layer red velvet cake that was pure perfection. Literally ALL the touch points were on point and made our experience incredible from start to finish! For our meal, we really enjoyed all of Ava's suggestions and pace for check ins. We ended up ordering the Goat cheese balls (never had this before and it was my favorite thing), Caesar salad, short ribs, and my husband got the filet. For dessert we got the hummingbird cake! Everything was so delicious, and they even brought us a glass of complimentary champagne to celebrate our anniversary!! We can't wait to come back again! Next time we look forward to sitting outside on their gorgeous patio next to the sprawling oak tree when it's a little cooler (or later) out. Such an incredible restaurant, highly recommend!!!! If I had any constructive feedback, it would be the fact that I couldn't get anyone on the phone to let them know we were running a few minutes late. The automated system didn't have an option to speak to anyone after trying to ask in different ways and their voicemail system said it couldn't take messages. April 2026 This was an all around beautiful perfect night! I did not expect reservations and the treatment we received was 5 star, at least to me! I had to calm my geeking out. We were brought up to the terrace outside under the lights. The temperature, lighting, laughter, the company, the ambiance, the conversation and connection just flowed...chefs kiss! For drinks, i chose "into the wild" and "forever young" he had the notorious FIG, i was not a fan but he liked it. Appetizer was the whipped ricotta drizzled with honey, it was so decadent. The first time I came here was two weeks after their grand opening for my birthday with my friends. Reservations were surprisingly easy to make, considering the fact that they are new and just opened, so I was expecting them to be booked out. When you first enter, the main area is a bit loud. Would be good if you wanted to come here for the vibes with friends. I wanted a more quiet dinner so I requested for the terrance. If you come during golden hour, the terrance has the best lighting. They also have the cutest decor. The service was phenomenal. Our server had the best attitude and was very attentive. I ordered the steak frites with the sauce on the side, 10/10. The food did take a little while to come out, but that's just because they make everything fresh from the kitchen. I wish I had gotten the name of the dessert, it was complimentary for the occasion, and it came with a cute edible chocolate birthday note (I put my own candle on there). It's a little pricy, but it's definetly an experience that I recommend. I loved everything so much that I came back a second time with my husband. I ordered basically the same thing and he got the filet mignon. We also got the wild heart, it's one of their mocktails. It was amazing. I wish I could give this place more stars because it's absolutely GORGEOUS and the staff is so amazing sweet and wonderful. However the menu just didn't land for me. My short rib was like 70% fat and i felt scammed of the meat. My mom got the lobster grilled cheese and said it was bland. She enjoyed her hummingbird cake but wish it wasn't so hard (from being refrigerated). Overall it was okay. I would return and try something new next time. Drinks were okay. The restaurant was cute but the music for a Saturday brunch at 11:30 am was too loud . I couldn't hear the other people at my table. We sat by the window next to the bar. The service was good. I had an appetizer, it was cheese balls, delicious. The main course was the lobster roll. The lobster portion felt small. * The meat consisted mostly of small pieces rather than noticeable chunks. * The hot butter was minimal. * The bun was small. It was a regular hot dog bun. * The plate relied heavily on thin fries to fill it out. For that price, I would expect a more substantial sandwich with a more generous amount of but it does sound like that particular dish didn't deliver the value I expected. read more

I really wish that this place was decent because it is gorgeous but the drinks and food were so bad. There was 4 of us, we tried five different cocktails, Including the worst espresso martinis we've ever had, and all of them tasted watered down and frankly just very bad. I wasn't expecting the food to be great, but was hoping the drinks would be as it is mostly a bar. we tried three different starters and two entrées, and only one starter was OK, the rest were almost inedible. The crab cake was decent. The goat cheese croquettes were literally just balls of deep fried goat cheese, I like goat cheese but that was weird. The tuna crispy rice was bad. Even the caesar salad was lackluster and the broccolini was water logged from being boiled and had NOTHING on it, not even oil. I hope they work on these issues because I love the ambiance but the food, drinks and service all need some major TLC before we would consider going back. read more

Let's just dive in. I have mixed feelings. This place really has the potential to be a 4 or 5 star spot, but tonight on my visit they fell pretty short. Please know that I'm not one to complain or try to be negative. I'd seen some buzz around the opening and the menu looked worth a visit to Winter Garden for our anniversary. (We are also Harrell's #1 fans so knowing the restaurant group I knew we were in for a treat.) From others' reviews I was expecting great vibes, great service and food and drinks that were as tasty to the belly as they were to the eye. I snagged a reservation for the outdoor terrace at 7:15. We arrived early at 6:55 and were seated without having to wait (unexpected but appreciated!). If only I knew then what I know now...Once seated we definitely got our chance to wait. We sat unacknowledged for some time before our server stopped by and took our drink order. I chose the Into the Wild and my partner ordered the Notorious F.I.G. smoked and ordered some still water. After giving us a few moments more to review the food side of the menu we put in our appetizer order, Goat Cheese Croquettes, and our entree orders, Pan Seared Scallops and the French Dip. Our cocktails arrived after 12 minutes and they were pretty good. The celery salt rim/half of the glass was a bit too much for my taste but I was able to maneuver around it. No coasters for our cocktails which was a miss, but I decided to use my water coaster after a bit. As we sat with our drinks and chatted about our weekend plans we began to look around for our server, eventually she did stop by and said she'd check on our appetizer. The manager brought out the dish at 7:35. Thankfully they were hot, fresh, and delicious! My partner even commented that they were worth the wait. We devoured them and then sat and continued to wait. Luckily for us the weather was gorgeous and as it was a special occasion we were in a generally good mood. Having finished my cocktail and still no food in sight I decided to get a glass of their Albariño thinking it would pair nicely with the scallops. Around 8pm what patience we had was running very thin. My wine arrived and our server stopped by to see how I liked it and said she'd check on our entrees. After a few more minutes of no update my partner asked another worker to speak with a manager. Our server returned and told us she had eyes on our dishes they should be out soon. The manager who brought our appetizer came over and my love explained the disappointment of our experience and how we'd been there over an hour and still no entrees, while others seated after us (who also had cocktails and starters) had finished their meal and left. While apologetic it did feel like all they could really offer at that point were excuses. They did comp the bill in its entirety, though we offered to pay for what we had received up to that point, which was a great gesture. Our entrees arrived but by that point we just asked to box them as we were ready to leave. Our nice anniversary dinner had been a total bust. Listen, I get it. They're newly opened and figuring it out. But after reading reviews of even large parties having no issues I couldn't imagine our party of 2 having anything less than a memorable anniversary date night at a great new addition to downtown WG. Sadly, it just missed the mark when it comes to the kitchen timing and service. If it's going to be a long wait for food, PLEASE communicate that. Avoiding guests really doesn't help an already bad situation that's out of your control. Bottom line: For the foreseeable future this spot may be more of a place where you want to grab a drink, an app, and yap with girlfriends at the bar. Don't come hungry. read more

I wasn't going to write a negative review but now that Orlando Weekly wrote about food issues, I will share, for perhaps those in charge will make appealing changes. It is hard to think about going back at this time. I went to dine in late June on a Sunday with husband and daughter for my birthday. After being seated in corner by the bar and waiting 15 minutes for a waitress we almost left. We were told short on staff and she had 8 tables!! Starters short rib dip with 5 crostini crackers. Asked for more and waited long for them and was charged $2 for 4!!! Wedge salad a hot mess! Not enough dressing and too much cheese!! Scallops very good ! My husband's filet tough and twice baked potato again a hot mess! Too much cheese and undercooked !! My mushroom bolognese maybe had 5 mushrooms!!! Complementary desert cookies and cream very good but whipped cream already melted when served !! BTW we ordered goat cheese croquettes and never got them!! The only high note was Espresso Martini with amoretto was delicious!! We love fine dining but beautiful Harlow Grove needs help to get to this level. Please improve!! read more
