Tight parking. Small lot. I had high expectations for the spot because it was so highly rated, however, a lot of the items on yelp are no longer available especially items unique to florida. Inside is a tiki bar vibe, it is very small business and the waitress is super nice (and must deal with a lot). It was virtually empty when we went for dinner. Mussel and clam in white wine: okay the bread was not even grilled (I had expected some buttery smoked grill mark situation) and the clams had a lot of sand in them. There was a handful of dead mussels. And overall it was a bit salty and lacking in freshness. Mahi taco- inside was good but idk if orlando doesn't have a good bread place cuz the tortilla was soo bad. Like no moisture, fake tasting tortilla. Otherwise the fish and toppings are yummy and I can see why its recommended. Again not really the blackened grill flavor. The fries were real potato (russet) but also felt a overfried/fried too long at a low temperature because they were greasy and some were burnt.. The fried oysters were okay, on the smaller side. Overall, this place might be better for fried baskets and like fish and chips rather than fresh seafood experience. Also considering it is on the cape/island you do have to drive out a long way on a single road to get to it, so that might have also influenced my expectations. Again the service is good and nice if you do want to support a local business. Just for the price and repertoire, maybe I had higher expectations. read more

Great food and service. Nice music in the background. Blackened shrimp tacos were very good but the tortillas need to be grilled or warmed up. Fish sandwich was very good as well. This is a quaint little spot right off of A1A. We had a yummy smash burger and the coconut shrimp basket which was excellent! The orange sauce made the shrimps extra delicious. The pasta salad was a fun twist on macaroni salad but with a little kick. Fries were freshly sliced but could have been a little firmer. Oh and get the seafood chowder - just do it. It's bangin! They have a limited beer and wine selection here, no spirits. Good iced tea and Arnold Palmers though! Unfortunately when we stopped in, there was only one server for the small seating area but she did a great job keeping up with us all. We would definitely come back! read more

Really liked crackers. Little hole in the wall type of place with indoor and outdoor seating. Little bar and great selection on the menu. Looking at all the art work on the walls. They have includes shrimp or mahi at the same price as chicken. The seafood was delicious and I got it blackened. Comes with cheese, salad mix, freshly chopped tomatoes for homemade pico, and an island sauce and wedge of lime. 5 stars - Mango key lime pie: loved this version with the tangy creamy key lime base with the pop of the mango chunks inside. I'm a key lime pie connoisseur when I come to Florida and this is one of my faves. 5 stars - Pork tenderloin sandwich special: HUGE fried thin cutlet busting out of the bun. Hub liked it. 4 stars - Seating: option for inside or covered outside - Staff: super friendly and helpful. Let my friend try a small portion of a beer she was considering. Found Crackers through Yelp and so glad we did! We are staying the night here in Port Canaveral and wanted to find a local spot and landed here. My son got the eggcellent smash burger and devoured it like he was in a competition. Not much was said from him excepted his facial expression so I think it's safe to assume it was good. The rest of us went with the fish n' chips and holy geez was it good! Very thin batter that was flavorful and super crispy. The fish tasted fresh and meaty! This would be my go to spot if we lived in Florida but Michigan is quite the haul for fish. Small, quaint restaurant that is easy to miss if you're driving by with a small cozy covered patio. After a long day at the beach, it was really nice to end up at this place and get a fulfilling lunch. First of all the beers were really cold, after a long day at the beach, a cold beer hits right. For our lunch I had the Black n Bleu salad and the serving was huge and it was perfect. Mixed greens with grilled chicken, cucumbers, tomato, mushrooms, and cranberries. It was absolutely delicious. We also ordered the fish and chips. It was one huge piece of haddock, lightly breaded and cooked perfectly. It had to be the best piece of fried fish I have had. We also ordered the double cheeseburger which was also very good as well. The service was excellent and fast. The young lady was very attentive. The restaurant had a small bar area and dining room. This is a small restaurant but with really good food. We ordered the Sandy Cay Fish-n-chips Basket and the Soft shell Crab Sandwich. Both were outstanding. I don't like slaw but I ate all of their homemade slaw! The fries are homemade too. The whole meal was hot off the fryer and delicious. Out waitress was very attentive and provided great service.
