Ever since my go to Jamaican spot closed, I have been on the hunt for truly authentic Jamaican food…read morenearby. After seeing decent reviews, I decided to try Caribbean Eatz Restaurant and Grill. I ordered the Jerk Chicken with Rice and Peas. Service was quick and efficient. I noticed online that they offer mac and cheese and wanted to add it to my order, but I was told it would not be ready for a while. Since it was already past lunch time, that was a little surprising. One thing they do well is portion size. The serving was very generous and easily enough for more than one meal. They are not shy with the oxtail gravy, and that gravy was rich and flavorful. The rice and peas were also solid, well cooked and nicely balanced. Where the experience fell short was the jerk chicken. Authentic jerk should have bold seasoning, depth, heat, and that unmistakable smoky flavor from proper preparation. This tasted more like baked chicken with minimal seasoning. It lacked the spice profile and complexity that defines true jerk. For a dish that is meant to be the highlight, it simply did not deliver. Overall, the portions and sides show promise, but when you are craving authentic Jamaican jerk, flavor is everything. That signature kick and seasoning just were not there. I will be ordering again. The only reason I gave it a four due to the chicken roti not coming with any channa or pumpkin. It was weird to order a roti without those coming with it. I did come later in the evening so I appreciate still being served. The staff was friendly and the interior was not so big but still had seating.

Terrible Customer Service & Repeated Disrespect…read more Unfortunately, after multiple experiences here, I can no longer recommend or support this establishment. Being that Deltona does not have many Caribbean restaurants, my mother has continued trying to support this small business despite several issues with incorrect or incomplete orders over time. The biggest issue is not even always the food, it's the customer service from the man working the counter. Every single time we've had to address a missing item or incorrect order, he has been rude, dismissive, and disrespectful instead of trying to resolve the issue professionally. Today was the final straw. My mother waited over an hour for 3 orders, only to realize that part of the food she already paid for was missing. She then had to drive back to the restaurant to get the missing items. When I explained that it was unfair for her to wait an additional 25 minutes after already spending over an hour there, the employee immediately became defensive, cut us off while speaking, raised his voice, and was once again extremely disrespectful. At this point, this is no longer an isolated incident. This has become a consistent pattern every time there is an issue with an order. Customers should not be treated poorly simply for asking for the food they paid for or trying to correct a mistake. I truly wanted to support this business, but repeated bad experiences and unacceptable customer service have made that impossible. I will no longer be recommending this restaurant to anyone.

I ordered the TRIPLETA from ven La ca in Titusville, and let me just say--this is the kind of…read moresandwich that makes you pause mid-bite and appreciate what you're eating. From the first bite, the flavors hit perfectly. The meats were seasoned and cooked just right, layered with fresh toppings that brought balance and texture to every mouthful. There's a richness to it, but it never feels overwhelming--just straight-up satisfying comfort food done right. Now, I'll be honest--the bread was slightly on the soggy side. But here's the thing... it didn't take away from the experience. If anything, it soaked up all that flavor, and once you leaned into it, it worked. Every bite still delivered. Pairing it with a Coco Rico? That was the move. The coconut sweetness cut through the savory flavors of the sandwich perfectly--it's one of those combinations you don't realize you need until you try it. Even though I ordered pickup, the experience still stood out. The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and gave off that genuine "you're family here" vibe that you can't fake. 10/10--absolutely recommend. This is the kind of spot you come back too an enjoy great food

Dropped in on an early-Tuesday night to find the place already had a few patrons in it. We were warmly greeted by Carla (who served us very well) and asked if we had ever been here before (no), and then were given the time to review their menu, ask questions, and finally make our selections. My wife had a couple of their Pizza Empanadas, while I chose the Chicken Mofungo (sp?). For an appetizer of sorts we ordered their ham croquetas. The food came out made-to-order and it was hot and fresh. My wife loved their empanadas, and my order was a massive serving of chicken corn meal, and a small side salad of sorts. The mofongo comes with an incredibly delicious garlic sauce that just makes the whole meal work even more than it was already working. We shared two desserts - the Tres Leches along with a guava cake roll I can't recall what it was called. The Tres Leches was just the right size (as this is a traditionally sweet treat) and the cake roll was sizeable - so it made sense to share that. Truly walked away feeling good about this place - from the welcoming decor, the staff, and of course the food - I hope the local (including me) give this place the love it deserves...
