My friends really wanted to try Craffles so we stopped by on a Saturday afternoon - they don't take reservations so we had to wait to be seated. Luckily, it was just a 20min wait! Their restaurant is not too big so wouldn't recommend it for a big group. My friend and I both got their crispy chicken crepe - hers was tapioca (gluten free) and mine was traditional crepe. Both were soo good! The tapioca one had a different texture - it was a bit more chewy. Not a bad option if you are gluten free! We also got their nutellacino which was basically a nutella cappuccino! It was definitely as good as it tasted. Their menu was a lot different than the last time I came here (around 3 yrs ago) and I really liked all the new items they introduced. Such a fun place! The honey garlic sauce was really tasty and the crunchy chicken helped add a different texture to the chewy toast. My spanish latte was also really good. If you like nutella, go for the nutellaccino- I had a sip of my boyfriend's and it was also great. Service was fast and nice! Gave great recommendations for things to do in the area. First visit to Craples and it definitely won't be our last. My husband and I had such a positive experience here. The service was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming from start to finish. What really stood out was how accommodating they were with my husband's gluten allergy--they took the time to explain options and even offered gluten-free and dairy-free choices, which we truly appreciated. The food was phenomenal. The açaí bowl is a must-try--fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. We also had a couple of omelets, and they were all delicious and cooked just right. Quiet little cafe with lots of seating available inside ! It can get a little crowded though once larger groups come in, but they're quick to accommodate people and seat them best they can. Our waitress was very kind and gave us recommendations on what to order and things to do around the area. I got the crispy chicken and blue cheese savory crepe and my boyfriend got the salmon crepe. I thought his salmon crepe was way better tasting than mine to be honest, it was very fresh and light. So they do often have a line up out the door for individuals waiting for a table to dine in. We waited about 25-30 minutes for a table for 2 and it was worth it for me. When we paid $22 for an omelette breakfast which came with ham bacon and fries we thought we'd get at least two pieces of toast just like every other place that offers breakfast. However when we find out it's only one piece of toast I just simply asked can I get another piece of toast. So they charged us $2 more for one piece of bread. This isn't great, but at least a complimentary coffee was given by the woman who took my order while I was waiting for my takeout. She was pleasant. Everything was okay until the girl I dealt with the last time aggressively called me to get my order. She just handed me the food and cutlery without offering a bag. This was my second time visiting but first time coming for brunch. It was a full house when I arrived and I was worried the about how long the wait was going to be. To my surprise, I only had to wait around 10 minutes before being seated. But the food is creative, high-quality, and plentiful, with plenty of vegan options. My wife & I had been wanting to try this place for months, but always balked due to the long line-ups. We finally decided to withstand the wait, and it wasn't too bad given that we were willing to sit at the counter (the place is quite small). They have a special vegan section on the menu without 6 different items. I got the Green Crispy Chik'n Tapioca ($18.50) and my wife got the Vegan Avocado Toast ($14.90) with some JUST Egg added ($5.50). The food came out in about 10-15 minutes, not bad given how busy they were. My tapioca dish was like an omelette made out of a flaky, dry tapioca starch that doesn't look the prettiest, but when you dig in, you're treated to an array of textures and flavours that work really well together. Inside was crispy Beyond Chicken, spinach, tomatoes, and lots of vegan cheese -- almost reminded me of a French omelette with the sharper cheese character. Extremely filling and tasty. My wife's avocado toast was slightly more conventional but served on a croffle. There was plenty of JUST Egg, avocado, and arugula, with a good drizzle of balsamic glaze. The taste I had was solid, but I'm not totally convinced it works on a croffle. We also got a couple of double espressos, which were made nicely. This was the most excellent and unique brunch I have had in a long time and I will definitely be stopping here on all future trips to Vancouver. So happy to find this place randomly by my hotel and discover that they have a ton of vegan options. Looks like they have two locations and only one is dine in so I definitely scored. The wait was long, but completely worth it, be sure to dress warm for standing outside. Inside it is very crowded, this is not for the claustrophobic, people afraid of germs or those wanting to have private conversations. If these things do not appeal to you they also seem to have a strong take out game which also adds to the overcrowding of people inside. Looks like you can come in just for to go coffee bar. There are a ton of employees working in such a small place, I'm surprised they are able to move around without spilling food and drinks on everyone, but I guess this must make it more efficient so that they can get people in and out. It can be a challenge to get up to go to the bathroom. I was so surprised people would choose to come here with large parties and children. They also seem to be known for their monster shakes, which I may consider trying on my next visit. They're definitely for those who like to photograph their food, but seems they have a vegan option too and I do enjoy fun food. I had such a hard time deciding what to order as there were so many interesting choices and I still don't know exactly what a croffle is. After much debate I opted for the Green Crispy Chick'n Tapioca, this was so tasty. I don't know why more food isn't folded into tapioca as this is outstanding. I'm not sure how busy it gets on weekdays but on the weekends expect to wait 30 min to an hour to get seated. Apple pie waffle was great, and I definitely recommend spending the extra $3 to add ice cream to the dish. ARE U KIDDING ME. I stumbled upon this place by chance and it completely wow'ed my partner and I. Our original plan was to go to the popular OED, but the wait time for a Sunday Brunch was just too long for our hungry tummies. We got the ferrero, kinder bueno, and matcha flavors. They were all ah-may-ZINGGGGGG. The flavors weren't too over whelming or sweet. The waffle itself has its own naturally sweet flavor as well. The texture was soft and chewy, as if there were layers of dough inside - but not heavy. It's definitely a good sharing item, we ate half of them and didn't finish the rest until the next day. My partner got the Tapioca Crispy Chicken. The crepe was like a Banh Xeo. It has a nice fluffy crisp texture that goes well with the crunchiness of the chicken. And wowwww the buffalo and blue cheese inside of the crepe was DELICIOUS!! I got the Hot Honey Chicken and French toast. Did. Not. Disappoint. Every bite made up for the bad dinner I had at the Eatery the night before (lol). The chicken never got soggy, even when I took some home to eat hours later.
