This little restaurant on Robson St in Vancouver is a must have for breakfast. When we arrived the restaurant was busy, but the service was so quick. We received a menu right away and were able to order and pay before being seated making getting our food that much faster! We still received table side service. We chose to sit outside since the weather was crisp and beautiful, however inside was just as charming. We both ordered a Benny. One salmon and ine ham with a bagel (you can also chose a savory waffle to have your Benny on) there were several choices of coffee so we went with the cappuccino and a latte, both great choices!

Found this place randomly after another spot was two busy. So happy that happened the space was small however the wait wasn't long. You Order first then you are seated. The coffee was good the waffles were crisp and delicious. Service was so so not a lot of interaction however the little interaction we had was pleasant. We would definitely come back if in the area.

Quaint little place. There are about 6 tables inside and three outside. I did a to-go order this morning. Restraunt was clean and not packed at 11am. It does not have a huge menu but does have vegan options. If you leave hungry, it is your fault. Portions are large. Definitely a good place for breakfast.

This is one of the few places that was open on a weekend for breakfast in the downtown area. I got here early right when it opened and had no trouble ordering and getting a seat. The food took a while to come out, but when it did, it was fairly good. The restaurant filled up fast and by the time I left, there was a line out the door.

In full transparency we came here because the other two restaurants we had in mind had long lines. Then, we appended to take a chance on this place and discovered it had decent review. Seating here is very limited and while the menu is small it has many excellent options. Staff is fairly hands off, they are not overly welcoming and don't really check in on you once your food is delivered. They do; however, pressure you to leave once you have finished eating, quickly clearing the table. All that aside the food was tasty as was the coffee and once you order at the counter and are seated, the food comes out relatively fast. This is impressive considering all drinks are made to order as are the food options . I had the Breakfast bowl be it was cheesy and delicious with a perfectly poached egg and tasty hollandaise sauce. I also had an Americano which was piping hot and very tasty. There aren't any frills about this place salt and pepper were actually empty at the table and I had to flag someone down for cream and sugar. But it's a great spot overall and I'd return if in the area again. Also, street parking is easy!

Le Petit Belge consistently has high-quality food and service and a lively ambiance. Every time I go, the food is delightful, and the service is fast and friendly. So, if you are looking for a good place for brunch but don't have much time, then Le Petit Belge may be a great place to start.

This place is a small but in demand breakfast nook. There's a good reason for that - it is absolutely delicious. My wife and I enjoyed breakfast here a couple of days ago, and we decided to split orders of salmon Benedict and crab Benedict, both being served over a bagel rather than the beautiful waffles they had, simply because that is our preference. The service was fast, the tables were clean, and the food was delicious. Service was impeccable, and the staff could not be more polite. The chai lattes also rounded out the meal very well, and overall, we felt this was one of the better breakfast that we have had in recent years. Highly recommended for people living in and visiting Vancouver. we will be back!

Came here for breakfast while in Vancouver based on the suggestion of a family member who lives here. It is a very small place and can be crowded so be prepared to wait for a little. You order at the counter and they bring the food to you. The food is very good. The Belgian waffles are delicious- not hard, but slightly crispy outside and soft and airy on the inside. I'd definitely come back if I was from the area.

Cute little spot across the street from our Hotel. We had the salmon benny on waffles. SO GOOD! It smells amazing in there! The fresh waffle smell fills the air. Makes it so hard to choose what to get. All of the breakfast items we saw looked amazing. Would definitely go back again!

This breakfast spot was close to our hotel so we decided to give it a try. You have to order at the counter and then you take a seat. We had the hot breakfast and the breakfast bowl (without the hollandaise and arugula. Both were very good! The smashed potatoes have great flavor and the sausage is also very flavorful. It's a small place that doesn't take reservations but I recommend giving it a try when you are in town.

Delicious waffle. Salmon bene and the fruit waffle was spectacular! Super fresh. Coffe was just ok but the salmon Bebe was the best.

Great breakfast LOL IT WAS desert Waffle with fruit Place is good, but a little expensive. I got a fresh glass of orange juice and it was a lot.

This place deserves a 10 star! The best waffles I've had my entire life. The coffee and fresh juices were also appreciated. My daughter also loves the smashed potatoes. 10 on 10 on the waffles both savory and sweet.

Waffles are not good. They are so dry that they turn to powder when you try to cut them.

We visited on a Thursday evening. The restaurant is located near BC Place Stadium and had FIFA going on, so it was fun seeing diners in their jerseys. The atmosphere was slightly lively yet still casual and comfortable. The interior design is very warm and lovely. You couldn't go wrong with either a casual dinner with a friend or a little date night here. To start - they brought out a small gazpacho, courtesy of the chef. I can't recall what ingredients were in it but it was definitely tasty and refreshing. I was very thankful that they served it. We began by ordering the foie gras and prawn dumplings as appetizers. Duo De Crevettes - I love a good dumpling but this one was a miss for me. Both the filling and the broth were VERY salt forward. :( Foie De Canard "Villa Lorraine" - This was my first time trying foie gras. The sound of pairing French toast with liver sounded odd to me, BUT it worked so well together! The slight sweetness and the thickness of the toast helped balance the extremely rich foie gras. The granita was definitely the star. A wonderfully refreshing palate cleanser after each bite. For our main dishes we ordered the moules frites and duck. Moules Frites - Congolaise - This dish was PERFECT. The portions were generous. The tomato broth was a happy medium of savory, salty, creamy, and slightly sweet. I loved that there were an abundance of extra little veggies in the broth as well (I believe bell peppers and onions). The fries were just a tad on the salty side, but who doesn't love fries? Le Canard - This dish was a 10/10. The duck was cooked flawlessly tender. The gnocchi had a nice chew and when the starchiness felt like it might be too overpowering... the salad balanced everything out in the end. The varying textures from the duck, gnocchi, celery, hazelnuts and apples made this a fun dish. Service was amazing throughout. The staff was attentive the entire time and took time to explain each of the dishes. Their enthusiasm and professional demeanor elevated our dining experience. All in all, definitely a great place to dine at!

I've only been to the original location on Robson years ago, so wasn't sure if the quality had stayed the same, but we thought it was worth trying. Their waffles are incredibly crisp and light, despite the amount of toppings on them. I don't know how they make them so they stay so resistant to going soggy. And despite the amount of whipped cream, ice cream and sauce on them, the waffle was always able to balance out the sweetness. Their waffles are just perfect balance of flavour and texture. Service was also quite impressive. Our server was very pleasant and attentive, and brought share plates with out being asked. Overall, a great dessert. I don't know why I haven't returned earlier.

So much so that the cost no longer matters (as you may have guessed, the cost was reasonable). While I find this somewhat annoying, I dont blame them for doing this from a business standpoint. They always have a lineup so there is no shortage of customers for them. There is no reason they need to deal with the headache of a ton of reservations.
