Servers were kind and checked on us at an appropriate frequency. Wait to be seated was about 30 minutes on a Saturday morning between 1000-1100, but wait following ordering was less than 20 minutes. French Toast was puffy and delicious!

this place was soooo fire. my only complaint is that they do not take names at the door so if there is a wait, you have to physically wait in line instead of a text notification or call out your name or something. we waited probably over an hour and it was a chilly morning in the shade. the food was so so good though! i got the pancake tacos and they were perfection. the french toast and honey garlic chicken was so unique. would recommend but be prepared to wait in a line.

Food was great everything was perfect and absolutely delicious! The servers were very nice, helpful, funny and hospitable. The place is cute and small.

Food was good which explains the line out the door. Would recommend trying to get a reservation!

Another brunch option in Yaletown. There was already a queue when I arrived. The waitress didn't come to talk to anyone. I waited quite a while only to be told (since I was alone) I could have just walked in to seat at the bar counter. Clearly poor organisation and overwhelmed staff. Food was good but not great. I tried the craffle smoked salmon benny. Felt a bit chewy to eat but still tasty. I really loved my passion fruit juice. The menu is quite extensive so I'd like to come back to tried more things but I'm quite terrified of the waiting time if I go with friends.

Quiet little cafe with lots of seating available inside ! It can get a little crowded though once larger groups come in, but they're quick to accommodate people and seat them best they can. Our waitress was very kind and gave us recommendations on what to order and things to do around the area. I got the crispy chicken and blue cheese savory crepe and my boyfriend got the salmon crepe. I thought his salmon crepe was way better tasting than mine to be honest, it was very fresh and light. Mine was good, but it definitely was heavy and didn't have nearly as much greens as the salmon crepe did. Next time I'm gonna have to try that one! The portion sizes are huge- I nearly didn't finish mine.

Weekend brunch cravings cured at craffles in downtown vancouver (Yaletown). The Nutella crepe was worth the +30-minutes wait (and yes, I also got eggs Benedict because #treatyourself ). The eggs Benny combination with the craffle base was superb. Ordered: French toast hot honey garlic chicken $20.90, Nutella fruits crepe $15.90, Avocado eggs Benny $18.90, iced latte $4.90, latte $4.90, orange juice $8.50. Tip: do not trust their google wait time estimates. When we went it said ~15 minutes......we ended up waiting in line for 50 minutes. And sadly they wouldn't provide anyone with an estimate. Service 3.5/5 (I'm not sure if they were understaffed or if they kept on forgetting about us, because we felt like we had to ask for the basic stuff. We had to ask for cutlery, napkins, and sauce). Food 5/5 Ambiance 4.5/5 Parking 4.5/5

America could never, (some places can) but this tasted so good! Each bite was a tasty experience of flavor and temperature! The plate presentation to the interior decor and staff makes this place a great option for breakfast! The space is smaller than some but I can see on warm days there is outdoor seating.

ordered it just a simple drip coffee. Any charges $4.50 for one cup of drip coffee and believe it or not it was stale not very fresh. d

When we paid $22 for an omelette breakfast which came with ham bacon and fries we thought we'd get at least two pieces of toast just like every other place that offers breakfast. However when we find out it's only one piece of toast I just simply asked can I get another piece of toast. So they charged us $2 more for one piece of bread. I hope most of you agree that that almost every place that offers morning breakfast offers at least two pieces of toast like White Spott or Denny's I can go on and o n. Especially when the eggs and bacon and fries are $22. Then I ordered it just a simple drip coffee. Any charges $4.50 for one cup of drip coffee and believe it or not it was stale not very fresh. As a consumer I believe it's my obligation to share this and I definitely will not be ordering breakfast there when there's several other choices in the neighborhood

A Unique Breakfast Spot Worth the Visit Craffles was easily one of the most unique breakfast spots I've been to, and the food did not disappoint. From the crepes to the omelette, the breakfast poutine, and the pancake tacos, everything was delicious and well executed. Each dish had its own creative twist, making the whole experience stand out from your typical breakfast spot. The space itself is a bit small, so it might not be the place for a long, leisurely meal, but honestly? It's worth it. The quality and creativity of the food make up for any lack of space. If you're looking for a breakfast that's a little different but still packed with flavor, Craffle is the spot. Definitely worth a visit!

Craffles has the brunch market cornered as demonstrated by the consistent lines to get in starting at 0900. It definitely is a top Vancouver brunch contender as it has a niche: the craffle. The craffle is a waffle using croissant batter, yes, it's delicious and certainly different and I've tried it three times. As with every other place in the area the place is small and overpriced but I find it to be worth the experience. Fresh juices are an added bonus. This past time I thought the service could've been more attentive, I had to ask for more coffee, a breakfast faux pas! I tried the fried chicken benedict on a craffle. The chicken was nice and crunchy and hollandaise flavorful while the eggs a perfect poached. Will I be back? Probably yes.

So I went back a 2nd time to try the avocado toast. I avoided the lady who I dealt with the first time because she was too aggressive and rude. On this visit, there was no vegan waffle available, so again, as a flexitarian, I decided to go with the alternative. This isn't great, but at least a complimentary coffee was given by the woman who took my order while I was waiting for my takeout. She was pleasant. Everything was okay until the girl I dealt with the last time aggressively called me to get my order. She just handed me the food and cutlery without offering a bag. The other lady saw this and gave me a bag, which was considerate. Although this seems cute and intimate - ideal for brunch, I simply can not justify coming back for even just take out due to the experiences that I have had. The food is good, but for what you pay for, I'm not sure it is worth fussing over as there are other places with comparable service and food.

With unique food options, outstanding service and European-like decor, Craffies is one of the most exciting brunch restaurants I have visited. The food options have exhilarating presentations, such as the Pancake Tacos being brought out as if they were tacos; furthermore, the food was delicious and filling. The service was excellent, quick and prompt to get the orders out. The decor was bright and inviting. Check it out when you want to try something new.

We recently took a day trip to Vancouver for a free Pokemon Go event ... go Team Instinct :). I…read moreused to play Pokemon Go quite religiously but eventually that tapered off, so the event was a fun way to get reacquainted with the game. After walking around for a couple of hours, trying to entice various pokemon creatures into our traps (wait! is that vegan?!), one definitely tends to work up an appetite and this is where the star of our show comes in, WaffleLand Café ! A mere 10 minute walk from the Vancouver Harbour, walking into WaffleLand feels a bit like walking into a culinary pitstop on the way to Disneyland, a feeling that is no accident, completely by design. If you're a Disney addict like me, just having that theming is enough to serve as a subtle transport to a magical (some might say ..the *most* magical) place on Earth! There's just something about the whimsical nature of the storefront and within, coupled with little detailed touches that just serve to tie everything together. Honestly, I could end this post right here and I think it would still qualify as a complete write up lol but ... fat chance, I'm going to tell you about the food :), the food, the glorious food lol. Let's start by pointing out their completely separate vegan menu, I can never say enough about this gesture, it means so much to the community for so many reasons! You get to choose from a variety of waffles, most of them being sweet but not without some "sweet" (so to speak lol) savory options as well. My wife, being of the sweet persuasion, opted for the "Enchanted Forest" .. bananas, strawberries, almonds, a dallop of vegan cream and hazelnut sauce coupled with the thicker, fluffier liège style of waffle! Myself, being a savory character, I opted for the "Smoked Tofu Lover" with all my favorite things, avocado, hummus, smoked tofu, plus maple syrup and dusted with garlic sesame, coupled with a thinner, heartier norwegian style waffle. There's no wrong choices here, my friends! Plus, while I obviously had to put any low carb aspirations aside by agreeing to eat here, that doesn't mean I can't try to make smarter decisions along the way, with the fat and fiber content of my plate at least hopefully helping to slow my body's reaction to the waffle treat! We were both enamored with our respective dishes, just everything about them, the aesthetics, the flavor, the texture and super generous portion sizing! I regret that I neglected to take pictures of their drink menu as they had a great assortment of coffees, shakes, teas, cold drinks, cocktails and shots. I was really inclined to try myself an effervescent Duck Fart (I have issues, I know this....) but alas, twas not to be as the shot wasn't vegan due to Bailey's Irish Cream. So instead, I relegated myself to joining my wife in a delightfully sweet "Mickey in Waffleland", consisting of Grand Marnier, Tequila, and Tia Maria. Cheers! I love places that offer something unique, with superb character, a place with such a special charm that you're unlikely to find something similar elsewhere in your other travels and WaffleLand succeeded in hitting all of those high notes, a magical waffle experience, indeed!

I chose to sit outside on the patio instead of inside at the bar to take in that Canadian Vitamin D! It was sunny and hot, but the patio had a great view and was perfect for people-watching. My server, Dursh (or something close to that), was really cool. He asked my name, made me feel welcomed, and gave solid recommendations. He even picked my drink for me, which I ended up enjoying. He suggested a Benedict dish, but I'm not a fan of runny eggs. I had already decided on the El Camino poutine and plot twist....it also came with two runny poached eggs. Even so, it was still delicious, mainly because the yolk texture wasn't an issue with the crema on the dish. That poutine was an easy 9/10. It came loaded with cheese curds, pork carnitas that weren't dry at all, bacon, pinto beans, roasted pineapple for a little sweetness, salsa, jalapeños, pickled onions, salsa verde, cilantro crema, and spinach. The herb potatoes were seasoned so well too. All in all, a great last meal in Vancouver from the food to the service (even beyond Dursh, everyone was helpful) to the patio vibe. Great spot.
