Our server was 'sick' and left in the middle of her shift. That helped explain the poor service but the server that took over, was attentive and kind. Food for the most part was average but appreciated the cheese/meat mixture on the nachos it's the best I've had in Billings. The seating area was clean and well spaced. OMG!!! This burger rocked! Although it was too huge! Great real onion rings too. My friend had lobster Mac and cheese.. not real lobster, but yummy she said. Had the daily drink special of the house Manhattan. Need to try with a better bourbon. Was good, but not top shelf by any means and it was a tiny drink. Not a fan. I tried popping in there about a year ago and after being ignored for 20 min walked out. Well I had a client that was talking them up and said they had an amazing brunch, so decided to try it out again. There appeared to only be two servers, manning all the tables and the bar. They were friendly enough, but the other waitress was more attentive to us than our waitress. Three groups of people came in after us and got there drinks, orders taken, and food before us. Anyway, onto the food and drinks. They offer $2 mimosas or a pitcher for $12. We got a pitcher and it was basically just OJ with a splash of champagne- wouldn't recommend. I haven't been eating meat, so I opted for the veggie scramble, which was eggs, tomatoes, spinach, mushrooms on top of breakfast potatoes with a "special cheese sauce". I was excited for this "special cheese sauce" but don't be fooled! It's literally just nacho cheese dumped all over your eggs. It was really disgusting and had I known I would have just gotten normal cheese. Service was slow all around, food took forever to come out and after sitting there for two hours, we had to go ask for our check so we could get the heck out of that place. This place is at the bottom for food and service but at the top of their marketing game! Good ads but the food, drinks and service are as low as you can get in a low food city. They make drinks incorrectly and have awful service. The food is low grade bar food regardless of what you see in the pictures or the ads. This was 3rd time and consistent results. read more

My wife and I tried this place after we overheard someone talking about this restaurant. I first noticed the TV's which I thought was cool. Looks like a great place to catch a game. Secondly, I noticed the statement on their menu that said they are known for their burgers. I was looking forward to a handmade patty. Instead I was served a flat cafeteria style burger. If your going to boast about your burgers, make them something to boast about. The garlic fries were tasty but I was disappointed in the burger. Maybe the appetizers are better? It did take awhile to place our order. One server/bartender working the entire restaurant. I will say this though. My wife ordered a Sidecar martini and it was delicious!! Waited for 30 minutes to get a beer, wasn't busy. For six people it took over an hour to cook six hamburgers. They completely forgot someone's order. They asked for onions, took 20 minutes and came out with mushrooms. Ridiculously slow, will not be back. Tried to give them another try tonight now that they have been Open awhile. Things have gotten worse. Front door was locked at 645 pm. Followed two other couples in through the casino. Found a table. One bartender and one waitress. All the tables around us with no menus and no drinks. They didn't care less that the door was locked or that even that we were there. We left after 20 minutes and no acknowledgement. I was really hoping this place would turn it around but it is obvious it won't and they don't seem to care. read more

I really hate dogging on a new business but if the food isn't great in the 2nd week they're open then I'm not sure much is going to change. We went there for dinner and the space itself is very nice; a sort of rustic industrial look. Lots of table choices and a pretty cool bar and biergarten area. Menu is 90% burgers (all about $12) with a couple salads and grilled cheese thrown in for variety. The burger choices are mildly eclectic but nothing too over-the-top, especially compared to Burger Dive. The burger patties themselves are meh, which is why I had to give this review 2 stars. If you're going to call yourself Craft Burgers and Beer, you gotta do it right. The patties are nothing better than what I can make at home, in fact at least my burgers are at least seasoned and a good size. These burgers don't even fill the buns. But, the buns are very good brioche, so that was a nice surprise. I guess for me, if you're really only serving burgers I want a lot more topping choices too, really a make-your-own option would be awesome, with more than just bacon and gravy; maybe even different meats like turkey and buffalo too. Their fries are pretty delicious though. I had garlic fries, but they weren't garlicky at all, though I love that they double fry them. So win for the carbs, meh for the meat. They also do not have a kid's menu. If I'm in an upscale place, I don't mind that, but even these days most upscale places have kid's menus. Instead, I was forced to buy a $12 meal to feed my 6-year-old. At least give me the option of a smaller portion size for less money, I don't need them to make something outside the existing menu but paying adult prices for a child is absurd. They do have a decent-ish beer, wine, and whiskey menu. They had about a dozen craft beers on tap, which was nice, but they were priced way more than most restaurants around. They also don't allow samples but you can buy a quarter pint taster. I didn't pay attention to their wine or whiskey menus, but they fancy themselves a whiskey bar so might be worth checking out for that. Service was good if a little slow. Also, it would be nice if they had a sign at the front that tells you to seat yourself so you're not awkwardly standing there waiting for someone to shout at you across the restaurant to pick a spot. We might check them out again in a few months, see if they've improved the menu, etc. If so, I'll update then. In the meantime, I wish them luck. read more

Fantastic place to grab a bite and have a beer or two. Service was great- hardly any wait time for a fresh beer and our food came quickly. Definitely recommend the grilled cheese BLT- I mean, cheese and bacon, what else could you want? They have an awesome private room that can be rented out for events (used as an MLB draft in this case). Oddly enough, really wasn't busy at all. Maybe a hidden gem? 10/10 would recommend to a friend. read more

I was taking my girl friend out for Friday night and the waitress yelled at me and my girlfriend. I was letting her know the order was messed up on the order cuz it did not have the correct Mac. She then argued with me stating it was the correct Mac. Screaming at me and making a scene . I finished and payed for my meal. Also considering she took The Mac off my receipt but then also too away the Mac as well. No apology just rude. The manager the next day said ther was nothing she could do for the matter. I was very upset and don't plan on spending my money back on a establishment that wants to treat my business like trash. I had a much different experience than previous reviewers. Talked to the bartender about whisky and he recommended my new favorite rye. The burger was excellent as well, and everything showed up promptly. They may have had a few growing pains, but they are figuring it out quickly. I'd be willing to bet people are just mad that the trashy Hudson's is gone and they don't know what to do with a decent place where they mop once a day. read more

We've been here 3 times now. The food has been delicious with every visit. The PB &J burger is my favorite! Great beers on tap and they were wonderful about letting us have a taste before ordering a new-to-us beer. We've also filled growlers when we've been here and the growler fill prices are really reasonable. Lots of TVs if you're interested in watching games/sports. Service has been excellent with friendly faces and prompt attention. Patio is a lovely place to sit outside. Craft B&B is quickly becoming one of my new favorite places! read more

Sorry, but I have to agree completely with Jessica T's review. Just went there with a party of six, and nobody was impressed. The burgers were nothing special, in fact, the burger itself just seemed to be a standard frozen patty. There are no appetizer options, from what we could see on the menus. For the money, I wouldn't go back to give them a second shot. It's pretty expensive for burger fare, and it doesn't have a real sports bar atmosphere, even though there are lots of televisions with games on. The servers were nice, but slow, and they didn't have a good grasp of the menu or drink availability. If you're going there to drink high end stuff, fine, but if you're looking for an amazing meal and good quality, this isn't the place. Like the other reviewer, I try to look for good things to say about new places, but this one made it tough. It's a disappointment because this area of Billings could use some other nice, good places to eat and hang out with friends and family. This would take a major revamp of the dinner menu to make me want to try again. read more

Awesome decor! Clean! Appearance of well organized menus in multiple locations turns out not accurate! Wine viewed and selected could not be found by our wonderful waitress. Dinner menu fairly limited to a fancy grilled cheese sandwich or a Sysco burger with a fancy topping or choice of two salads. The staff must have thought the regular fries had no flavor so some one decided to offer an option of "garlic" fries. They were the same as the regular frozen Sysco fries with some sort of garlic Season salt. Since this appeared to be a gourmet burger place with an excellent bun I ordered an expensive hamburger with no cheese medium. I got a flavorless burger prepared well 2nd time according to our wonderful waitress). Simply a McDonald's hamburger is at least salty. My wife's burger the dragon burger had the advertised taste. It was nothing special enough to spend 13 bucks on. Simply this place has no original thought other than appearance and fancy menus. The food was not gourmet and not worth the hefty price. The service was only marginal because according to our wonderful waitress she was handicapped because the burger I asked for medium was over cooked initially and then still delivered over cooked. I gave this 2 stars because the waitress and the restaurant appearance deserved more than one star. The food was over priced and that is over an hour of my time I will never get back.
