Just wanting to inform the people going or people working that Montana has new drivers license. Last night we were denied service because my friend's ID was "fake", I tired to explain that our state updated our drivers licenses but the condescending response and attitude towards us was unnecessary. The staff was unwilling to listen for even a minute and so we left. Very disappointed especially since my friend had been served before with no issue literally a week before. read more

A cool Martini Bar with the nicest owner. Drinks came out promptly and were delicious. Had the Moonshine Fizz and the Winter's Night martini. Both are excellent. We also got one of the last loaves of Italian Bread and Vinaigrette, which was also delicious. But arriving 45 mins before closing, and seeking to order some food 30 mins before closing, we were informed that the kitchen was closed. Might be better to remove the food menus from the tables once the kitchen is closed, or at least let us know before we order drinks. Look forward to adding a review of the small plates this Fall when we return to Billings. read more

I'm a little confused that people would be surprised at a martini bar having classic flavored martinis like cosmos and appletinis. My girlfriend and I came in to have a few drinks before a concert. The drinks were great. Their pours were on point. Yes, they're a little overshaken but they had a great selection of vodkas and Bourbon to choose from. Extra points for having Basil Hayden. The atmosphere was great. The bartenders were friendly and did their jobs well. I'd definitely recommend stopping by for a few drinks. So sad I had to give two stars because the drinks are actually awesome but not enough to outweigh rude staff. It's The best of the bars I've tried but the service is absolutely terrible. We came in on a Thursday night & 80% of the time the server was talking with her friends & on her phone. It was super busy Friday so we tried a couple times & left. Tonight Saturday we got a seat at the bar and as I walked to the bathroom a man in a button shirt said "sorry we're full" without even inquiring or knowing I already had a seat. We then ordered & the bartender said "you're just gonna stand" talking about our two extra people as I look around to other people standing near tables or by the front door. So we then ordered them to go & I'm leaving this review. We were so excited to come back even after the subpar service for this. I'm from Las Vegas & wasn't expecting anything crazy service wise but wow bummer especially when it could be a 5 star establishment if the experience was better! The guy in the button up & bow tie needs to seriously take a course in greeting customers or talking to people. Even when asking for a straw he was rude smh will never be back!! read more

I love this place. The people are very nice and the atmosphere is cool. The dill pickle martini is yummy. I highly recommend this bar.

I was impressed with the quality of the drinks. Billings doesn't have anything else quite like this joint. The cocktails are not "expertly" crafted. I could tell the syrups and extras were not house-made but I'm sure most people come here for the atmosphere. We had an old fashioned and sazerac. Both were pretty standard. We tried to be seated outside on the patio as a disabled person with service dog ....animal jacket stating "service animal" on it ..the whole thing. a female manager came over as our well behaved German shorthair was being showered with affection by the table next to us and..get this; refused service and asked us to leave!!! We were very polite and the woman was very nice but obviously ignorant of how to handle the situation..they refused service to a veteran with PTSD!! This has never happened to us ever before Anywhere my wife and I have traveled.. PLEASE DONT GIVE THEM ANY OF YOUR BUSINESS AS THEY DO NOT RESPECT THE SERVICE MEN AND WOMEN WHO HAVE SACRIFICED SO MUCH FOR THIER COUNTRY. They are a DISGRACE to the state of MONTANA. read more

This place rocks. Tons of martinis to choose from . You can sit in or outside. Great bartenders. I had some sort of raspberry martini. Boy was it good. They have so many vodkas. Place smelt like a nursing home. I would know, worked in one for years. What does a nursing home smell like? Old people's Urine. Which I imagine smells about the same as babies urine. Or even just regular aged folk urine. I guess the bigger question is, why does this place smell like anyone's urine? My wife and I had one drink and bounced immediately to the dive bar down the street that you would expect to smell like urine, but in fact, smelt like chicken wings and desperation, but that's another review for another time. In the end, the drinks tasted good. And that's why it's not 1 star. Why did it smell so bad? Did this building use to be a martini bar for the incontinent? I guess that would make sense. And I don't think they can blame that on covid either. Sorry, I hate giving bad reviews.... Wow! If you need a cocktail in Billings this is the place to go. Their staff is super friendly and offered great suggestions. They offer an array of specialty martinis that are vivid in colors and amazing in flavor. In the photo left to right: Rob Roy martini - this is like your classic Manhattan but with scotch. It surprisingly doesn't hit you in the face like most scotches and is nicely balanced by the vermouth. The Aviation martini - this is an off-menu item but was my favorite all night. It's hints of lavender really crest a floral flavor but didn't over power it to taste like soap. So delicious, definitely recommend! The Bees Knees martini - the name says it all. Extremely drinkable, very dangerous. Our server was right, you could drink this in no time and be ready for more. Delicious honey flavor with sweetness that doesn't overpower. The Paradise martini - this was definitely the sweetest and someone who prefers those types of drinks would love this. Overall great service and drinks, I'll be back! read more

An amazing cocktail bar in Billings, MT?! Yeah, it's a thing. Right here! I LOVE their cocktail list. Everything is handcrafted, unique recipes, fun and playful with serious flavor. And the best part is the price! The atmosphere is very sophisticated but not so fancy you can't wear your jeans. Love their patio area in the summer. The servers are all professionals who can make great recommendations. They also tend to have drinks that are off menu, so if you don't see something that appeals to you, give them an idea of what you want and I bet they can help you out! A couple of my favorites are the vodka-based Raspberry Beret (with fresh raspberry puree) and their whiskey-based Toasted Salted Caramel Pecan dessert cocktail. Both of those rank into my craveables list! Hubby says they make a legit Old Fashioned, ask for it on the rocks otherwise everything is served up. HUGE liquor menu if their cocktails aren't your thing. They have a small but tasty appetizer list. We like their meatballs, and it's a very generous serving. They also have fresh, hot bread that is complimentary, all you have to do is ask! Well-behaved children are ok, though I'd suggest only pre-dinner timeline as this really is a date night kind of place. This is always the first stop on a downtown date night. This is Billongs MT and it's a martini bar, of course there are going to be Appletinis and they wouldn't make them if people didn't order them. This is a GORGEOUS bar, beautiful and well put together. Very classy and elegant with a casual feel. Bartenders are dressed very nicely, some with tattoos and a classy edge to them. Moved from Washington state two months ago and have been scoping out the cocktail and restaurant scene. First thoughts upon entering are: 1: flavored vodkas, put that stuff where no one can see it. 2: you SHOOK my martini. I should have gotten up and left at that very moment. 3: rewrite your pathetic menu. A "high end" cocktail bar doesn't say things like premium and incomparable. You say fewer words, seem smarter, more competent, and leave your bartenders to say all the ignorant mumbo jumbo they want to ever more so confuse the clientele. 4: write proper ingredients on your menu. A Vesper doesn't have St. Germaine in it. Again, you say cocktail bar, I think dive. Not to continue picking this trash lord of a cocktail bar apart but please do yourself a favor and skip it. My husband and I really enjoy going to Doc Harpers for a martini, usually before or after having dinner out. My husband's favorite has always been the Spicey Pickle, until recently. They were spicey but not over spiced, and were infused with black pepper. They are now not as flavorful, and the last time he asked for extra spice, Tabasco was added that almost made it undrinkable. He won't order those again, but it won't stop us from returning there for a nice place to meet friends for a drink. read more

My daughter and I had a wonderful experience at this point little Martini Bar. It wasn't noisy we were waited on like we were Queens and the martinis were to die for. My Martini which was a dirty martini was so smooth I thought it was the best martini I've ever tasted. It was a clean the atmosphere was cozy I love the bench seats the high tables and the way it's lit. The atmosphere with happy the noise level was perfect so you could talk and I just felt engaged. I went here last night and was thoroughly disappointed. My friend and I sat at the bar and were ignored for a large span of time. The menu made me feel like I was in an episode of Sex and the City. Cosmos, espresso and appletinis. Do people honestly still drink those? When we were finally helped I ordered a rye old fashioned, and my friend said she was still deciding. The drink had absolutely no flavor and was 80% soda water. I don't like an old fashioned with water, but when I've had them it's usually a squirt, not an entire glass. They never came back to help my friend, and we left after my one drink. My horrible drink was $10.50! Go to Walkers where you can get a crafted cocktail, over large ice cubes, created by bartenders that actually acknowledge you, for a few bucks less. read more
