I made an appointment to have my hair cut and colored, I will advise the worst I have ever experienced with a hair salon. The colorist was OK, I pointed out they had missed some spots and was told I could come back. The haircut was unacceptable. I asked for a bob cut the stylist literally took her scissors and cut around the bottom, hair was left uneven and I left in tears. I came back to have the hair stylist fix her work and when I said how unhappy I was and how her angles were not cleanly cut another worker in the salon stated to me that OK enough she is fixing it! So rude they were ,and she could not fix it as she had no clue what she was doing. The owner Lori called me and asked me to come to see what was going on. She recut my hair agreed there were no proper angles and stated that she would cut my hair for free, and I should come back for a proper cut. She told me to contact only her and not to call the salon as she would personally handle it. She stated I should wait several weeks to give my hair time to grow back in and she would then cut it. So I contacted Lori and she stated I should call the salon to make an appointment, I reminded her she told me to contact her directly. She advised me to call this AM and she would make appointment. I have done as she requested and now she advises she has no appointment available for 2 weeks. Seems like she is pushing me off. To be truthful everyone that recommends the salon has their hair cut by Lori, it seems she is the only one who gives a good hair cut. I will never visit her salon again and I will never recommend anyone to visit them. There is no customer service. Greenport gets lonely in the winter I assume she does not value her local business. read more

Monica and Lori are fantastic stylists. Monica has done my color for over 2 years. She does an amazing job and is always quick/efficient and she listens to exactly what I need. Lori is amazing at customer service and such a welcoming business owner. I recently had to bring my baby to my appointment and they were so kind and accommodating. If I could give this salon 10 stars I would. From the moment I walked in they were so welcoming. I had a single process done by Monica...excellent, and a cut by Lori. I am so pleased. I felt completely safe, they sterilized everything, and did temp check upon arrival. Finally, a great salon on the North Fork, with not only super talented people, but a warm and fun atmosphere .
