This was my first time at this restaurant which I heard a lot about and it WAS AMAZING! First, the atmosphere was very cool and they had plenty outdoor and indoor seating. We had an amazing server Gina and they had plenty of back up help. Jay who I'm guessing was someone in charge came to make sure we were good, cleared things off the table and even brought us extra figs. The Figster salad with crispy chicken was outstanding. Everything we had was superb. We also enjoyed the Buffalo cauliflower, the farro salad and a flatbread. It is rare to have both good food and service, but this place not only pulled it off, it was exceptional! I hear they are opening up more. I hope they come to Orlando where I live. I checked this out on Yelp and loved the menu right off. The Beer and Cheese soup was perfect! Especially since I'm not fond of Andouille sausage. They make everything fresh daily. I was very impressed with Craft Street! The buffalo cauliflower is a MUST! The blue cheese that comes with it is some kind of heaven! I had the Bonsai Bowl from the specials, I really hope they put that onto the menu because it was amazing! I personally prefer sitting outside because I'm not crazy about air conditioning-- i had one of the specials with flank steak and pork fried rice that was AMAZING!!! When you see them tucked back in the corner of a crowded shopping center doesn't look like much. Haven't had a meal like that in a long time. We've now been back several times and starting to work our way through the menu because EVERYTHING is absolutely awesome. Best hidden Gem in New Port Richey. My favorites are the Short Rib Sweet Potato Tots (Thai Chili Braised Short Rib, Sweet Potato Tots, Green Onion, Red Peppers, Garlic Aioli), Nashville hot chicken sliders and the Skillet Cornbread. Thursday nights are ladies night, Sundays are Hospitality Night: 25% Off 8pm until closing time. Go and give them a try the food is delicious and reasonably priced. The atmosphere is very modern,  the manager and server names escapes me right now (sorry) but server was super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and drinks - The extra service goes along way and was truly appreciated. I'm a bit conflicted about this review because I was SO IMPRESSED with Craft Street Kitchen in Oldsmar. We came to the Trinity location because we were meeting friends. I think I'd give Craft Street 4 stars if I hadn't been comparing it to the second location the whole time, because it's still a good spot and is far better than other restaurants in the area, but I'd only give 3 stars because I know how much better it could be! The restaurant has the same sort of ambiance as the other location, but I found the quality of the food was not as good and service was totally different. The menu is good with some great options and good weeknight specials on both food and drinks. We had a 30-minute wait at dinner time on a Wednesday. No big deal as we were expecting a wait. Unfortunately, there was a lot of waiting once we were seated. We didn't see our server for a good 10-15 minutes after we sat down. We waited at least 20 minutes for our beers to be brought to the table and at least 40 minutes for our food. It wasn't a huge deal as there was good conversation at our table, but our server was noticeably absent and drinks/food were noticeably slow. The food was good, but wasn't as jaw dropping my great as the Oldsmar location. Beers were not as cold, food was not as hot. By the time we got it, we were just happy to eat. Overall, I'd love to see the speed of the food/drinks to be improved (hot food should be hot! Beers should be cold!) and the friendliness of the staff be a bit more welcoming and available. This could just be a problem with our server in particular, so perhaps I'll be able to update my review with more stars at a later date. read more

From the owners of Surf Shack and Zim Zari, we bring to you another delicious place to eat but with a different theme. No fish tacos over here, but plenty of mouth-watering, alcoholic-infused twists on American classics to go around. Also included, a full liquor bar and a rail with probably 30 taps, consisting of mostly craft beers. We stopped in last night to see what was going on. Monday is $5.99 burger night. They have plenty of burgers, but the deal is only for the regular blah burger. Add-ons are extra, so I'd seriously skip it. The burger's not flame-grilled either. Major fail. I ordered up "NOT YOUR MAMAS MEATLOAF," and I couldn't have really been more impressed. Meatloaf is one of those things that is either done right at restaurants, or terribly wrong. Places like Rumba in Oldsmar and Cracker Barrel know what's up when it comes to this American classic, and it appears Craft Street Kitchen does too. Presentation was great; two slices of meatloaf stacked high on a bed of mashy taters and topped with some fried onion rings. The dish came with some honey butter roasted baby carrots by default, and I'm glad because I wouldn't normally order them and they were simply delicious. The meal was heart-warming and stuck to my ribs like white on rice for the rest of the evening. My only suggestion would be to scrap the onion rings, and replace them with some bourbon-caramelized onions. I think they'd compliment the dish a little better. Before leaving, we ordered a Bourbon bread pudding to-go. We reheated and ate it shortly after we got home. One word: amazingashell. The place is big and can accommodate some pretty large parties, especially on the outside patio. read more

LOVED the food at Craft Street! Yelp photos show the amazing "Short Rib Sweet Potato Tots" which are a great way to start your culinary adventure here. I also had the "Pork and Plantain" flatbread which was very tasty as well. And to round off the appetizers, I added the "Sticky Ale wings" which were so good! I love that food here is sourced locally and the menu is bold and creative. Each item on the menu combines flavors that work so well with each other. Also, the restaurant itself has probably the coolest atmosphere in the area...large and open yet warm and inviting; hip feel with great music playing across the great room. Excellent choice for dates, friends, parties, and flying solo! And they have a very cool and comfortable patio seating area. Extremely well priced for the quality and service you'll find here. We started with the apps and sides, next time, I want to try the main dishes. Started with whiskey drinks - I had the "must do" smoked old fashion. Which does not taste like an old fashion at all. Add 2 lemon wedges and you have a delicious drink. We also enjoyed the blackberry whiskey drink which was not too sweet, not too strong, nice refreshing flavor. Food - we indulged in the french onion ring app - which is a delicious heart attack of thick french onion "soup" sauce, with crispy large onion rings on top then covered with melted provolone, and then fondue to dip it in! The dip was so good "I would eat it on leather shoes" (to quote our server). Next we tried the flat bread, korean chicken chunks with great sauce and flavor, asian slaw. Very good balance, spicy, crunchy. Tasty. To the chef / menu planner, chop the meat into smaller chunks so you get a bite of chicken with each heaven bite. Obsessed isn't a strong enough word for how I feel about Craft Street's very own concoction, the Smoked Old Fashioned. Perfectly mixed and poured over a smokey short glass with one big square ice cube, one sip can totally wash away the day's stress. A couple of times a month my bf and I would come here to enjoy a couple of Smoked Old Fashioneds. We almost always sit at the bar because it's livelier and I like to watch the bartenders make the drinks. Most times we'd order food, but on occasions we'd eat next door at Zim Zari and drink at Craft Street. Some of the dishes we've eaten are: - Avocado and Hummus app - interesting mix of oranges, pumpkin seeds and corn, but it works - Short Ribs Sweet Potato Tots - the short ribs are packed with flavor and the tots are addicting - All of the Flatbreads - can't go wrong with any of them - Belly Up Burger - pork belly and an egg, must I say more? - Not Your Mama's Meatloaf - moist and flavorful, LOVE the glazed carrots - Crafty Pasta - so good one isn't enough, but two will make me look like a pig We haven't explored the menu much because we like the dishes we've eaten so much that we can't bear to try something different. I really enjoyed this place! I ventured out here since I saw rave reviews on the atmosphere, which is a huge deal to me. I can dismiss mediocre food if the atmosphere is great and I'm having a good time. It is very loud, but energetic, lively, and fun. I liked it! If you're looking for a quiet romantic spot or family dinner with little ones, it wouldn't be the best place to go. The food was also great! We ordered french onion soup rings as an appetizer and the sauces it comes with are delish. I had the steak mac and cheese which was seriously yummy. The portions were a good size and I had to take some home with me. When I bring home food, I usually don't return to it for a day or two, but I totally scarfed down the rest later that night...it was just really yum. My parents enjoyed the meatloaf. All the items sounded great, orange ricotta pancakes, banana French toast, lobster Bennie... I ordered the skillet short rib hash. The first bite was tasty, good seasoning and flavor. The next few bites I almost spit back in my napkin. So fatty! Yuck! There were also a negligible amount of potato, onion and bacon in my skillet. I don't review many restaurants that I don't like, and this is no exception. This place was absolutely perfect. From the really cool industrial decor to the friendly staff to the delicious food. My husband ordered the salmon, I ordered the rib eye steak. They were both amazing but to be honest, the rib eye was one of the most tender and juicy steak I've eaten in years. As a side we both opted for fried pickles, he also got shoestring French fries and I got bacon charred Brussels sprouts... flawless on all the sides. The atmosphere was lively and a bit loud, but the place was packed. All the other restaurants in the center were empty. I cannot tell you how much this place surprised me in a good way. The owners, just like they are at zim zari , are always present and stop at all the tables to see how you are. If course they just opened, but im sure that they will get better and faster at clearing tables and seating customers , as we had to wait a bit for our table as they were waiting for the bus boy to come around to clean the table. Def would go back again, but perhaps after a few weeks til the mad rush dies down and the staff has some more time to train. This one is a gem! Chosen by step daughter, this was a surprising delight. She claimed others had told her it was a bar and burger joint. If so, they are missing the boat. The only down side is the level of noise. It is very loud and challenging at times for a conversation however, it is a bar so more noise levels should be expected. Alas, that is the woes of growing older and many years working in engine rooms without hearing protection I suppose. The food..... is exquisite! The unique menu and well prepared dishes are both a foodie's delight and indicative of an establishment that values its reputation as a place for great foods. I started with the fried green tomato appetizer since Jane had not had them before. While the drivers opted for craft sodas and the kiddies the typical milk and waters, I tried a smoked old fashion. I have to say the bartender did a fantastic job. Unlike some other places that serve the beverage in a smoke filled flask, this one was served in a whiskey glass after being infused with the oak or hickory smoker. Rich and flavorful. My meal was the Craft Kitchen version of a BLT, made with fried green tomato and a bacon avocado salsa topping. It was definitely a tasty dish paired with the house home-made potato salad. The younger adults opted for a specialty burger and the teen a southwestern flatbread pizza. I had a sampling and these entrees as well were not at any risk of disappointment.
