Want to start off by giving the biggest shoutout to our server Alyssa!!!!! All of the staff were so sweet and accommodating but Alyssa was that girl. I went last night for my best friend's birthday dinner. We originally had 30 people planned to come but only 20 showed up. But Alyssa assured us that was no issue. Even calling the store ahead to plan the dinner was very easy as they were kind and helpful in explaining how the night would go. Everyone enjoyed their food and drinks. I personally loved their avocado egg rolls and their passion fruit sour. My friend had the best birthday and we are so happy about our experience at Finney's. Thank you again to Alyssa for all of your hard work and for being so cool and thoughtful. Finney's craft-house is the most amazing place to come and eat they have all kinds of best food they even have vegan food and healthy food me and my family came and eat their and i have to admit it was most delicious food and pretty cheap to spent I had a great experience dining at this restaurant. The atmosphere was welcoming, clean, and comfortable, making it a pleasant place to enjoy a meal. The staff were friendly, professional, and attentive throughout the visit. The food was well-prepared, flavorful, and presented nicely. The portions were satisfying, and the overall quality of the meal was impressive. The service was also efficient, and my order arrived in a reasonable amount of time. My experience was underwhelming. The inside decor was fun and the restaurant is big, Plenty of seating throughout, combination of tables, booths and at the bar. Definitely a place you can come watch sports or hang out with big groups. My husband and I came in on a weekday, a little before 8 for dinner. There were probably 5-7 parties throughout the restaurant and 2 people at the bar. No host at the front. Servers working at bar and a server walking around. No acknowledgment from staff or even a glance our direction. We decided to wait a few more minutes, if no one helps us we will leave. A few minutes later, a server quickly walks from the back. He grabs menus and takes us to a table. I liked that the booth was huge for just the 2 of us. I didn't like that the restaurant was pretty empty and we were seated by the bathroom and in front of the kitchen. Our server was Bryce and he was nice. We ordered: Steak fajitas - read a lot of reviews about this and it was just okay. I'm not sure what I was expecting. It's definitely a serving for 1. The steak was tough, but the veggies had flavor and cooked perfectly. The tortilla was also good. I ended up eating the veggies with the tortilla without the steak. It comes with small ramekins of sour cream, guacamole & the black bean salsa - which was more like a purée. Deviled eggs - so, I love deviled eggs. If it's on the menu at any restaurant, I always order them. These were very runny. The flavor was good, but the texture of the yolk was like baby food. I wouldn't order again. Grilled cheese & soup - this was good. Very cheesy. I thought the glasses for the drinks were cute. I drank about 1/2 my coke and noticed the glass was dirty with specs of food, both inside the glass and outside. My cloth napkin also had stains. It's a typical American food place, nothing extraordinary. Food is as expected. My cobb salad was pretty enjoyable, fresh, and a great portion size. Also enjoyed my espresso martini. I decided to walk in after the gym as it smelled really good. Because I had just finished working out I didn't wanna eat something that would make me feel guilty. I had not noticed that they had some healthy items on their menu so I decided to walk in. This time I was by myself and did not have my wallet with me so I asked if I could use Apple Pay to pay which you can. I decided to sit at the bar by myself. The bar area had a good ambience with a game from the Dodgers playing. The bartender was really friendly and made me feel welcomed. Once I ordered my beer came out pretty quick and my burger followed not too long after. I ordered the bison burger, and it was really good. We haven't eaten at Finney's for several months and this place never disappoints. The three of us wanted a nice, relaxing lunch so asked if we could be seated in a booth and away from the group with the young child. The hostess happily accommodated us (and we did hear that child scream and cry several times during the time we were there). We were seated in a booth, but unfortunately, we were across from a group of two women and one man who kept saying every version of "f***" there was. We really didn't need to hear any of that especially with our daughter with us. People really need to have more class. Ryenne was our server who told us it was only his third day training at Finney's. We all thought he did a great job! He was extremely friendly, talkative seemed excited and happy to be working here. Our food was really good! We were all in the mood for some type of burger. My husband had the Wagyu Burger, which he said was excellent! My daughter had to Finney's Craft Burger, which she enjoyed. And I ordered the new Turkey Burger with it lettuce wrapped. It was really good! I ordered one order of large french fries, which we all shared and was plenty for the three of us to share. We started with the Crispy Brussels which were so crunchy and delicious! My daughter also really enjoyed her Sprite Dirty Soda. Came in for "just one drink" and somehow ended up emotionally attached to the Watermelon Smash Super refreshing, dangerously easy to drink, and gave summer backyard party energy in the best way. The Mexican candy shot also did what it needed to do... tiny but mighty lol. The atmosphere was lively without feeling overwhelming, and the bartenders were cool and quick even when it got busy. I didn't notice until a few bites in. It took a while to get some service and my burger was cold by the time the sauce came. - A5 Wagyu burger $17 Really good, but the burger was fairly small! Came here with a party of 9 and unfortunately this was the most disorganized Finney's location I've visited. We called ahead and were told a 10-minute wait, but when we arrived it became 20 minutes. We were then seated in a booth that was way too tight and uncomfortable for our group. Drinks came out separately and spread apart, menus were sticky, and the restaurant was much louder than other locations. Food was hit or miss--the grilled cheese was inconsistent, and the mini lobster rolls were disappointing. On the positive side, the avocado rolls, poke nachos, and poke bowl were all good. I did appreciate that they allowed us to split the check for a large group. Overall, I like Finney's, but the Brea location probably isn't one I'd return to. Great spot for catching sports games with plenty of screens throughout. The cocktails are made with fresh juices, and they're always better that way. My favorite was the Passionfruit Sour. We had the carnitas nachos, which lacked a bit of spice, and the pork was dry. The pretzel was soft, and out of the three dipping sauces, the honey was surprisingly our favorite. The cheese sauce was a little odd. For the wings, we would have loved to get two flavors, but they only toss the wings in one flavor. Had a below average experience on Fathers Day. The waitress was super stoned and forgot to take my wife's order. She walked away after taking 4 of our tables orders. The burger was decent a little dry with a small patty. Poke nachos not good at all, very dry with not much fish on them. The worse part was the wings! We had the Cajun dry rub and mango habanero. Had such a great first experience here. The customer service is top notch. We were greeted and seated right away. Our server never missed a refill. The food was amazing. I can't wait to go back and try more of the menu. They have some of the friendliest staff ever. The establishment itself was nice and open with plenty of seating. Today I ordered the Mediterranean protein bowl with chicken and the chicken was a little tough, dry and salty unfortunately. The dishes were decent overall. One complaint I have however, is in their restroom. They don't offer paper towels to wipe your hands with after washing them. Finney's Crafthouse in Brea recently opened on the corner of Brea Blvd and Birch Street where Ruby's Diner and Farrell's used to be. There are two large parking garages less than a block away. We have been meaning to try Finney's by the Orange Circle, but ended up trying this location first. The restaurant has dark ceilings and an open, roomy feel. There are booths, tables, and seating around the bar. They have a very good selection of craft beers on tap, and a good number of cocktails and wines. There are a lot of TVs around the restaurant and good background music playing. We started out with the Buffalo Cauliflower bites appetizer (with Yuzu sauce, blue cheese, garlic aioli, $14). It came with a good number of tasty cauliflower clusters with buffalo drizzle on top as well as a side of buffalo sauce. The garlic aioli had a very garlicky aroma and taste, but we enjoy that. All of the pieces were nice bite-sized, and not greasy. I ordered the Blood Orange Marg (Campo Azul reposado tequila, blood orange, jalapeno, tajin, $13). It tasted like a regular house margarita with a tiny hint of blood orange, and no jalapeno flavor. I definitely wanted to taste the blood orange more. She had the Watermelon smash cocktail (Platinum 7x vodka, cucumber, watermelon, mint, sugar, $13). It was very light and refreshing, and had a great sugar rim. I tasted a lot of cucumber and mint, but the watermelon flavor was more in the background, unfortunately. For my entrée, I had the smoked tri-tip sandwich (Fontina, arugula, cherry peppers, horseradish garlic aioli, $16) with a side of chips. This was a very good and very filling sandwich. It had a lot of meat inside, the bread had a nice crisp on it, and the argula, peppers, and aioli complemented the meat well. The chips were good and not oily at all, but needed some salt. She had the Impossible taco salad (Romaine, pico, corn, chilis, tortillas, cheese, cilantro lime dressing, $17). It had a nice variety of ingredients, and the cilantro lime dressing was great. She said she really enjoyed it. It is a pretty big salad, and there was plenty left to take home. We shared one last cocktail, Meghan's Grapefruit Martini (Wheatley vodka, grapefruit, elderflower, lime, sugar, $14). The grapefruit flavor definitely lived up to the name on this drink. This place has a good happy hour. Food is good. Drinks are also good. Great variety. The only thing that turned me off was their one year old expired Tapatio hot sauce. One bottle literally had mold in it. The manager came out and apologized to our party and compensated some drinks and appetizers. He truly seemed apologetic and worried for those that had some before realizing it had mold. We had a big party and all bottles were at least a year expired. I ordered the Finney hamburger off of the happy hour menu. The good news is that it is a pretty good deal. The meal includes a hamburger, fries and a drink. Normally they are all Ala carte, which can add up. I was disappointed with the burger as it just did not have that much flavor. It was a large portion of beef, but it lacked flavor. As far as pizzas go, it wasn't one of my favorites. When a menu advertises sausage & garlic, my favorite two item combination that isn't clams, I'm expecting a decent sausage and some roasted (preferably) or minced garlic. This pizza had garlic Parmesan, which has no texture or buttery heft at all. I can forgive the crust being thin and sauce non-existent, but I don't think of that as a garlic pie at all. The service was good, although there were brief gaps at the beginning where my drink order took awhile to be given and another when I was waiting for a refill so long another server/manager had to get it. And then a minute later my original refill came. What saves this place from being average is the ambience and energy of this place is stellar. The layout, all the tv's, the clientele, and just the vibe of the place is great. I would come out here to watch a good game or plan an informal hang here any day--meal or no meal. It has to be the the number one selling point for sure. Overall, nothing is bad enough that makes me think you'd have a bad meal or drink here. It just wouldn't be my first choice. But, oh Lordy, does that place know how to make you feel excited to be part of the crowd once you walk. I wish all places could feel that special. read more

Brianna was our server she was friendly, it was sort of busy for afternoon late lunch. They have inside and outside seating, was such a beautiful day so we sat outside. They have actually a decent selection of food to choose from for both adults and kids menu. Ordered the kids pasta with yogurt but didn't think it would be Yoplait with m&m's, and it came with a krabby patty candy lol, baby girl enjoyed her pasta. We ordered a burger with fries and I got the mini lobster rolls. He didn't enjoy the burger so much but I enjoyed my lobster roll but it wasn't the best I ever had. Also got a raspberry lemonade which was yummy, a beer and a dr pepper. The food was decent, the customer service was not bad little slow but not bad. I'm not sure if we would come here again but happy we tried it. Maybe the other items on the menu would have been a better choice. Would we come here again? Ryan, the manager of this location, reached out to me regarding my first experience at their restaurant. I'm glad he did. He encouraged me to come back Everyone deserves a second chance, right? I decided to bring my neighbor with me this time and enjoy a regular dinner versus appetizers. Ryan was a delight as was our waitress Skye. The atmosphere is very comfortable. It's a sports bar, so you can catch your favorite game while enjoying dinner should it be on. I ordered the southwest salad with a side order of sweet potato fries. My neighbor ordered the wedge salad along with a flatbread pizza. While we waited for our dinner to arrive, I thought I would try another appetizer, so ordered their avocado eggrolls. My neighbor really enjoyed the avocado eggrolls. Were they my favorite? They were OK. I'm glad my neighbor enjoyed them! The southwest salad looked delicious. I didn't care so much for the Sriracha sauce that came with it so requested ranch instead. The salad comes with a sauce already included which I forgot about. The Sriracha sauce was so hot, so I requested ranch dressing on the side. I wish I would've remembered the salad included a sauce before putting the ranch dressing on. It was still good, but I wished I would've tried it without the ranch! If you love spicy food, I'm sure the Sriracha sauce would be delicious on this southwest salad. Can we talk about the sweet potato fries with sea salt? They were the best sweet potato fries I think I've ever had! I would totally get them again. Love them! Well... we walked in with high hopes and left blown away. No, literally we were being blown away by a huge fan they turned on right above our table. Our to-go boxes caught air and flew over to the booth next to us. My hair was flying into the plates that were never picked up. We took this as a sign that they wanted us to leave.... Yes, we were there past closing time, but not the only table left in the restaurant. Our night at Finney's started off great. We were greeted by a comfortable environment and many big TV screens showing all of the sporting games. We ordered 3 appetizers while waiting for the remaining 2 out of 6 for our party. We all got drinks as well. The onion rings were very good and came with a lot on the plate. We also ordered the poke nachos and a Bavarian pretzel that were pretty good. So far, we were enjoying our experience. I ordered the double smash burger lettuce/wrapped. It was so-so. It was very greasy and left a puddle of grease on my plate after a few bites. I liked the sweet potato fries I ordered on the side even though they showed up cold. Nothing special about the entrees across the table. In the midst of us eating and watching the football game. We were never asked if we wanted any refills or visited once we received our food. We got our food 5 minutes past closing time. We were celebrating a birthday of a family member from out-of-state. My review is not a reflection of their service. Customer service was good, our server was attentive and friendly overall. Inside it's very casual w/ sports on tv etc. The food however was not good. My kid ordered the grilled chicken from the kids menu, the flavor was ok but it was a little dry (I tried it). I ordered the tri-tip sandwich. The meat itself was average, but did not go well with the bread and aioli they pair it with. This would be better on a roll or baguette type of bread. The sandwich comes with chips which I didn't care for (oily), but since I had ordered tater tots I was ok with pushing the chips aside. The tater tots were awful. The worst I've ever had. All I tasted was oil. No flavor, no seasoning, tried several, tried with ketchup, nothing helped unfortunately. None of us ate them. The best part of my meal was probably the beer. We came here for the Dodgers World Series because one of the other places I like does not open on Monday and they recommended this place, The place was not as packed as they would have hoped for a World Series so they sent our server home. And later on sent our other server home hence making us close out twice which didn't help their situation. On top of that they did not tell us that last call was at 9. So it took a while so we went to the bar to get some more drinks and that's when they told us...no more food or liquor. My review is based on our last visit on Saturday night. My family and I are big fans of finneys, we've gone to many locations such as Orange, Claremont and even Oceanside. Have been to Brea as well and always a good experience with good up until this weekend. This review is based off the service. We came in Saturday night and sat towards the back by the skeeball machines & our server was the brunette with the braised pigtails, missed her name since we paid on the machine on the table so no receipt with her name. First incident was we had already been waiting 10-15+ min waiting for her to walk by so we can ask for a refill as well as place a different drink order, after not even seeing her in the restaurant we asked another girl if she could get our server, she looked around the restaurant and told us our server was busy and helped us with our refills + beer order. Few minutes after we were helped by that girl, we see our server exit the restroom. Must've been in there for quite awhile. Secondly, when they brought out my family and i's dinner. I noticed my smash burger was actually just a plain cheeseburger with only ketchup(red sauce) in it. We again waited for 10+ minutes for our server to come check in and ask how our food is so I could let her know my burger was wrong. She never left the kitchen after several minutes of us waiting to let the mistake be known, we let another girl working know my meal was wrong and to bring a manager. Instead of a manager our server came and let us know she'd go fix it. What's really annoying is she has the audacity to come back 5 minutes later and tell us the burger correct and just missing grilled onions but "since it was cold, they'll make me another one". I've ordered this smash burger many many times from finneys and never has the mustard aioli been red so not only is she a liar but she also couldn't take accountability. After my family was basically done with their meal I was able to eat my burger, when she came by and asked how it was I let her know the sauce was correct this time and she just walked off. I'm not even upset that the burger was wrong, it happens. More upset with how long the service took and how long it took before I was able to get any help with correcting the issue and then the server having the nerve to say it was the correct burger when it obviously looked more like a kids meal cheeseburger. Nice looking place. Plenty of seating. For the most part the food was good. The only food problem we had was that we didn't catch the wasabi aioli on the shrimp tacos. Which reminds me, our kids weren't offered kid menus. My bad for not asking but I shouldn't have to ask. My son ate all the shrimp before telling us he didn't like the "green sauce". I ate one of the left over tortillas and I agree, it's bad. Looked at the menu when we got home and saw wasabi and I wish I had caught that when ordering because we would have had him order something else. Bad in our part but at the same time it was really bad. The house made ketchup is also a little funky. But overall everything else was good. Oddly they don't have desserts, or at least we weren't offered any. So we went someplace else for that. The bad - service. Our waiter seemed nice enough but he was slow and once our order was placed we never saw him again. No follow up on how things were tasting, no desserts offered, no additional drink orders, not even water refills even though we repeatedly asked the other staff for some. Truthfully, my wife got one water refill but all the other glasses were left empty. My recommendation, bring your own water and see if that gets their attention. Our table top kiosk didn't work, we had to flag down somebody to get it working and only then did our server reappear. Again, he was nice enough, just not very attentive - we were ready to spend and order more. We will likely give it another try because everyone has an off night but it's on a short leash. The minute I started reading the menu I was put off by the menu that charges extra for fries ($3.50 small- $7 large). If you order a burger, sandwich etc., fries are extra. I hate this! I can see onion rings, sweet potato fries and other more expensive sides but fries? Just another way to gouge the customer....IMO. Also there small POS (point of sale) devises on each table so you can pay which is convenient but they charge $3 to play games on it. Just another way to gouge the customer. We all have phones with games on them anyway. The Finney burger ($13)was decent, but lacked flavor. The burger meat is a nice mixture of three different meats but again lacked flavor, needed seasoning. Hate to say it but In-N-Out is way better for third of the price. Double Smashburger w/ cheese was better and pretty good. Service was good and we loved the decor inside with lots of TVs and a large bar area. I've had Finneys before and loved it but today has a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. I got a crispy chicken sandwich and tater tots, SUPER BURNT and dry. Its almost impossible to mess up a chicken sandwich. My boyfriend and mother in law got burgers, the wagyu was DRYYY. We were starving so we finished it but it took forever and for it being so mediocre was soo upsetting. read more

Is this a sport pub for maga supporters or a restaurant that's family friendly? Came in today for dinner, restaurant wasn't busy decided to try it out. Came in with family and a toddler. Upon being seated we were never offered a high chair by host, it was only after we asked our server for one that one was brought over. Then an obnoxious group seated next to us requested to the server if they could switch the channel to their preference. The server appeased them and put on hockey. This group was very loud and disruptive through out our whole meal. Mind other sports were on other televisions yet no one was loud as this table. The staff didn't even try to calm this group or call their attention. When food was received burger was ordered medium yet it was well done. Don't recommend this place at all. read more

Service was very good here for the most part, the servers were kind, could have come by the table more often to check on us but were pretty detail oriented. Just one person in my party asked for a few extra sauces that they didn't bring out, we had to remind them 3 times and finally the 3rd time almost 20 minutes later they finally brought them. Food was very good, I got the bone in wings and loved they were crispy and still a but juicy. The burgers were very good and made with fresh beef. Cocktails were very good too!! I got a margarita flight and loved all of the flavors! Layout of the tables is a bit strange, but love the old American diner/arcade/sports bar vibe lol. I'd recommend! Went here for my don's birthday. First time. We got there in time for happy hour! We got 2 of the combos-GREAT DEAL! One got the Finney burger, the other the chicken sandwich (one did ask for no pickled onions and had to take them off instead of sending back and waiting) I got the impossible taco salad-so stoked they had plant based options!! We also got the coconut shrimp-which were great. Nice atmosphere. Great beer! They had Naughty Sauce by Noble Ale Works. The restaurant itself was welcoming and designed to make you want to hang out. Our server handled our large party like a total pro, and the service overall was excellent. Unfortunately, the food didn't quite live up to the rest of the experience. Everything looked great when it came out, but the flavor just didn't hit the spot. The burger tasted like it had been frozen, even though I know it wasn't. The tots were solid, but not enough for me to want to come back. As for the appetizers, they were just your standard fare nothing that stood out. I'll probably check out some of the other new spots in the area before giving this one another go. read more
