So, I have been feen'in for some seafood for about two weeks now... went here today and was extremely satisfied!!! I called in my oRder and it was ready. The staff was friendly and the restaurant appeared clean. I live like 15mins away and when I got home to dig in... the food was still hot. One of the best parts about it was that my seafood was not mushy like that nasty place up Connecticut Ave. The sauce was so flavorful. I know the sauce alone made my trip to the gym this morning null and void, lol. I enjoy the food so much, that I am looking forward to dinning in next week. Ran into this place by accident. The first time I went, I went to the window and the lady said 'only call in orders'. So I took out my phone and called the order in ‍ however; the lady said it was a 30 minute wait. So I left. Today, I called in at 12:20pm and ordered the catfish basket with onion rings, the lady said the food would be ready in 30mins. Ok, cool, no problem! I received a text at 12:31 saying my food was done!! Wtf?! I don't live in the area so I arrived 20mins later. Needless to say, the food was cold. Went for the first time last night and was pleased to be greeted by BALTIMORE. Hand sanitizer at the greeting station and 6 foot markings on the floor. Honestly I never went because I expected them to act like they do a Friday's. What ever the situation, I will be going back...on a weekday. One word: Ghetto! Walking up to the restaurant I see the employees (servers, hostess) outside smoking weed in the front of the establishment hitting the blunt and running back inside to take orders and tend to customers. So we drive back up there and when I arrive, they hand me my keys with my AirPods missing. Only the case was attached. I'm LIVID!!!! Who in their right minds take someone else's AirPods??? Something that someone else has put in their ear? I believe either the hostess or our server took them. The AirPods were dirty and filled with wax, so why TF would anyone want to take AirPods that looked like that?! When I asked who had them, no one seemed to know and the hostess claimed that the server gave them to her like that. Either her or the server took them which is a shame and no one wanted to be honest. At the end of the day, I'll never patronize this place again. The workers are ghetto and unprofessional and the entire place is in need of new management!! The workers are thieves and don't grasp the concept of professionalism. We were seated quickly and our server was professional and customer friendly--we gave her a $24 tip. No need she should suffer for poor food quality. I had the Alaskan King crab legs, they were filled with water, the meat was crumbly, the shell was too soft to crack, and by the time they added seasoning the meat was too salty. Seafood is naturally salty and does need mild, medium or extra anything. My husband had the fried scallops, they weren't bad in that they weren't overcooked but were a little watery. The sweet potato fries that accompanied his meal were good. He asked for an IPA beer and was given something that was not. He traded it for a Sam Adams. I had a lemon drop martini which was just citron with simple syrup in it, no lemon flavor at all. I've stopped in several times only to pick up a slice of key lime pie and we took two slices out after this visit. Needless to say it is all I will purchase from this location in the future. These seafood boil restaurants have been quite the trend within like the last year or 2. And of course there are many available in the area now to compare but CC has definitely got my vote lol! Im usually a local crab house or wharf kinda girl and this was my 1st boil experience but im highly impressed! Seafood was not overcooked, the seasoning was perfect, and I even got full! Now that I think about it I haven't eaten again since lol( 12hrs later) not that you get a boat load of food but definitely filling and variety depending on what you order. There was a bit of excitement, but I think the restaurant has a swarm team, lol, because just as soon as we heard the commotion I think every server in the place swarmed the trouble maker and got him out the door! I really don't know where they all came from, but they were a good team! I felt safe:) I get the feeling one of the greeters was an undercover police. Look, I am a 60 y/o Nana and veteran, so a little excitement doesn't bother me as long as I see an exit, plus the team really handled the situation well. Now, today, I did take out. I just happened to call it in, and it turns out they prefer for you to order online or by phone (it was posted on the door). The food was hot and ready in exactly fifteen minutes from the time I called and texted me. I must say this time and the last time I came here I received a 10% military discount. The fried oysters and fries and crab cakes tasted awful!! When my sister complained about how horrible the taste was, I thought they couldn't be that bad. I tasted one, and it was awful!!! It was a bad no taste oyster yuk! I guess I would say they taste was like they had been fried in sand old fried fish oil! The crab cakes and fries had the same taste. I never complain about the price of food, and I can say their prices are about what you would expect to pay for good seafood. When I called to complain/inform the person that answered the phone promptly, he got the manager, and he asked me what was wrong. I told him about the oyster. I didn't get to the fries and crab cake before he passed me on to the person who took my order. The person thst took my order said the best he could do for me was give me 10% of the next order! I said well I already received a 10% military discount, I was also thinking, "do you really think I will be back?" I don't know what would have made the situation better? Oh I know a refund for the horrible tasting oysters! I also know it is impossible to give a refund every time someone complains of taste. I think a completed conversation with the manager and a proper hand-off to the person who took the order would have been nice. Maybe an offer of a free dessert next time or let us make it again for you next time it's on the house. I really wanted to like this place because of the front line staff working there, but bad seafood can be dangerous seafood. So, to the 10% off offer, no thanks, I will not be back. to keep it a stack this is actually the worse dining experience i have ever had in my life. we were celebrating a family birthday with 25+ guest. we had 1 waiter with 0 help from management. i asked for assistance from management on multiple occasions with no help. the drinks took 30 mins to come, the food took 2+ hrs to come out. and at closing they gave us 1 check for $1200 to manually split up with a pen and napkin with no guidance and basically kicked us out. they literally expected us to manually split up a $1200 check after initially telling us they could split the check multiple ways. thats why you have a ordering system so you can split the checks by seats. the server was rude and had the worse attitude she definitely needs some training. its not her fault though management failed her. this establishment is not a business it is a joke. they dont even accept apple pay after initially claiming they did. do yourself a favor and do not shop with this establishment. i dont care where the location is if you are spending your hard earned money you should get a quality basic service in return. they are ghetto and unprofessional. worst restaurant experience ever! save your coins or go to another location but this one aint it. crafty crab yall can hit me for a business consultation i would love to help. read more

Also, you had to have pre-ordered, via their online website or called in your order (I tried to call, but NO answer). I was confused by the fact that you could not walk up to the window and place an order (what business does NOT want to take your money, especially during a pandemic?!?!)
