I came here on a Wednesday for a birthday get together. I would say it was about 20 of us. And they provided us with one waitress, which ended up being impressive because she held it down. Service from her was wonderful. But everything else was out of her control but she did try to fix it. It wasn't that packed the reservation was for 7:30 pm. But onto the food. I started with a strawberry lemon drop it taste good but it was warm, so I wasn't really feeling it until I got some ice. As a appetizer I ordered the hush puppies this was the best thing they had at this location for the night. They were perfectly cooked and the sauce that comes with it takes it to another level. I ended up ordering two more batches to go. I also ordered the steamed oysters which came out ice cold. I ordered the snow crab boil with the buttery garlic and Cajun flavor and for my spice level I got medium. Now normally you can see the chunks of garlic pieces in your bag, mine had none. So I checked with the waitress before even opening it to make sure I got the right one. She said yes but she'll bring me some more of the boil flavoring just in case. My cousin ordered the same thing and she didn't have the garlic either, funny thing is my cold oysters did. But she brought some more sauce and there was still no garlic present so I'm guessing because it was close to closing they ran out. I ended up not enjoying my boil the spice level didn't taste correct either they were just bland. I'll stick to the one in Coral Springs. But shout out to our waitress she was great.

My server, Jayden, was great. I appreciated her giving me a good drink recommendation after having a first disappointing drink. The mai tai tasted like straight juice and I was not happy with it. She suggested the Bahama mama as it's the second strongest drink on the menu. It did not disappoint and she was absolutely right! Sweet and I can taste the alcohol. The crab meat fries were fabulous as always. I love to order them with medium boom boil sauce on the side. It's so good! Upon entering the establishment I was immediately seated. It was empty at 3pm. Everything was clean. Music wasn't the best. Lol. But, no big. I like that most of the tables have usb ports so you can charge devices. They're also around the bar.

Service: friendly. Slow day so she wasn't too busy Atmosphere: good music nice decor Food: hmm fried oysters bland mush no flavor balls of dough, hush puppies hard and bland , Cole slaw had sour taste could take two bite Price: way high for quality and quantity Won't be back

These ppl have got to be the slowest ppl in the world. I ordered the boom fire and received some other flavor that I never ordered the last time I'll ever come here. I literally called over 8 times and they just stare and look at the phone so I had to physically go inside. SMH I ordered the lobster special and two margate specials which is called something else now. Waited there forever and nothing. I don't know if they were drunk or slow or if they changed their policy to no phone orders but the smart thing would be to let us know at least I have no problem going into any establishment and picking up food at least pick up the phone. Honestly I want to give them a 0 stars because it's the same thing everytime and pure laziness. The two girls at the front were mehhh meaning ok service but Coral Springs location is 1,000% better but it's 25 minutes away but I'll just make the trip next time. This is exactly what happens when theirs not a supervisor or a manager to micromanage them to simply provide service or maybe provide napkins in the bag bib. You know it's the small things that matter but ultimately I give them 0 stars and lower case e for effort.

I have to start with, this wasn't our first choice for seafood, but it was close and open. When we were seated, our serve came over for drinks and we all ordered something off of their yummy drink menu. She was young and admitted to not knowing much about alcohol, but every server should know the drink menu at least. She also said that they had no bartender on that night but someone would try making them. Not a, "do you maybe want something else?" We waited longer for our drinks than our actual FOOD! They were okay drinks, but definitely not worth the $11.50 price tag. The food was good, but I don't know about the price for the type of place it is. The pricing doesn't match the ambiance of the place. Not to mention, our server never came back after dropping the food off to see how everything was. We were all still eating and she came back just to drop the check off saying, "whenever you're ready." And then disappeared again. They were NOT busy, so we went to the front desk area where it looked like we might be able to pay. Well then that person yelled out across the restaurant for our serve to come close out her checks. Just super unorganized there.

Great food and service! Excellent hospitality! The staffs we're running quick and polite to bring out the food, and they provide bibs and gloves that won't get your hands dirty! And there are 4 different types of sauces available: crafty cajun, lemon pepper, buttery garlic and the mix them all sauce (boom). The boom sauce is definitely the most popular and highly recommended to anyone and the spicy levels are mild medium, and fire! I definitely like the medium spicy!

We came on a weeknight and was seated quickly. The restaurant was clean and well lit. Michelle was our waitress and she was attentive and pleasant. The food was good and flavored well. I would suggest having it sit in the sauce for a while to make sure it gets soaked up. Everyone was satisfied.

My friends and I decided to check them out. Surprisingly for a Saturday night this location wasn't busy. I absolutely hate waiting over 30 to be seated at a restaurant. We arrive at 9:15pm and was seated immediately. Which was definitely a plus for me. First thing first we had to order some drinks. I ordered a strawberry lemon drop. This wasn't your traditional one. It's looks like a regular lemon drop but taste like a strawberry lemon drop. It's was pretty good. For my started I ordered a dozen steamed oysters in boom sauce. Then I ordered a half a pound of snow crab legs , green mussels, no potato's extra corn and a side of eggs in boom sauce. Everything was delicious. I give this experience a 10/10. Everyone enjoyed and ate all their food.

The lovely hostess guided us to a booth by a window. We were greeted by our equally lovely server Jazmin (sp?). Btw, she rocks! Upon perusing the lunch menu we jumped at the deviled eggs appetizer. These beauties were two beet stained eggs cut in half topped with a spicy yolk filling and garnished with scallions, chicken skin crunch and trout roe. OH MY! My dear friend and dining companion was leaning towards a salad but we put on our thinking caps and decided that the fried chicken entree, which was accompanied by two sides and a biscuit was the best bang for our taste buds. And indeed it was. She ordered two pieces with greens and mac + cheese while I chose three pieces (thinking ahead to lunch tomorrow) plus the mac chz plus sweet potato soufflé (that was Thanksgiving babe!). The chicken was fresh out of the fryer and we had nothing but praise for the sides. To top it off...Nanner Puddin'! Just like mom made but no Jello pudding here. Amazing. Since it was a weekday, we got to meet the chef and give kudos. (He's a happy dude) I wouldn't care to come here on the weekend when it's packed but I can see why folks do. The place is enormous with a huge outside venue and a sprawling banyan tree. Plus the Sunday brunch menu is tempting. But for a chill lunch with nice employees and scrumptious food on a Thursday, we were star struck and satisfied.

I loved the aesthetic --…read morethe green and gold decor was really pretty, and surprisingly it wasn't too packed for a Sunday around 4:45 PM. I also really liked how spacious the restaurant felt. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, plus a cute outdoor bar area with stools where you can eat and hang out, which gave the place a really nice vibe. The music was a great mix of R&B and oldies too. Now let's talk service... for me, service is everything, and unfortunately that's what made this experience disappointing. Our waitress, Haley, was pretty inattentive throughout the meal. We asked for extra Caesar dressing and never got it, and it was honestly hard to get a hold of her most of the time. Because of that alone, I'd probably think twice before coming back. As for the food -- it was hit or miss. We started with the wings as an appetizer. They were flavorful, but nothing memorable. I'd probably skip them next time and try something else. I ordered the crispy Cobb salad because it sounded amazing on the menu, but it was a letdown. It was mostly lettuce with barely any chicken, and I had to mix the whole salad myself. At a restaurant, I kind of expect a Cobb salad to come already tossed together. Also... no blue cheese available? Come on now lol. My boyfriend got the fried chicken with sweet potato fries and mac & cheese. I will say, everything came out HOT, so you can tell the food is made fresh. The mac & cheese didn't look impressive at first, but it tasted SO good. The sweet potato fries were delicious too. My sister ordered the lobster pasta, and honestly the portion size shocked me in the best way. They were generous with the lobster, which almost never happens, and she loved it. My daughter got the crispy chicken sandwich and said it was the best sandwich she's ever had, so that was definitely a win. Overall, the food itself wasn't bad at all -- my salad was just a flop. If the service had been better, this review probably would've been very different. Not sure if I'd come back, but maybe on a different day with a different server.

I started with their mango margarita, a refreshing kickoff to the meal. They also have a full bar if you want something different. For appetizers, I tried the lobster bisque and crab cakes. The crab cakes were my favorite: light, crispy on the outside, packed with fresh crab, and free of heavy flour or doughy textures. Simple and straight-up delicious. The lobster bisque had a flavorful, well-seasoned broth, though it was a little light and I would have loved some chunks of lobster to add texture. Ordering is straightforward: select your sauce/seasoning, spice level, and seafood. I went for the Chef's Pick - Crabfam Classic Seafood Boil, which includes 1/2 pound each of snow crab, shrimp, and sausage, served with two sweet corn cobs and two tender potatoes. I chose the Mr. & Mrs. Crab seasoning, a blend of Cajun spice, lemon pepper, garlic butter, and plain garlic. It had the right kick from the Cajun, the zing of lemon pepper, and just enough garlic to tie it all together. The corn was juicy and sweet, the potatoes tender, and all the flavors balanced beautifully. Also like my first visit, this place found a way to shoot itself in the foot. "Gisela" warmly greeted me. She sat me in the same first booth as last year. No sign of my waitress Jennifer from last year. The first thing I noticed different was a nice salad bar. Gisela asked if I ever had been there previously. I replied "yes." She then said I must know how they do things there. As it turned out, I did not. Later, she informed me that they now are under new management from my first time there. They no longer have a traditional menu. Unfortunately, I had read neither their website nor the recent reviews since last year to know of the changes and stupidity. So now it's a Brazilian steakhouse. Since I never had experienced a Brazilian steakhouse style of service, I had difficulty understanding Gisela trying to explain to me how it worked. I requested more time to analyze the menu. I also should add that the ambiance is pleasant but a little dark as is the menu in certain places, making it difficult for me to read. I think I had left my reading glasses in the car. So Gisela waited on a couple seated behind me which had arrived after me. They ordered the Brazilian meat all-you-can-eat and helped themselves to the salad bar. I saw no "salad bar only" option on the menu. Gisela said I could order only salad bar. However, I had a feeling I would be charged the same as the combo with the meat service. I decided just to go along with the program by ordering the same thing as the couple behind me for $24.99. She brought me a glass of water. I have zero complaints about the food. The salad bar included meatballs and noodles and enough variety to order just salad bar if they encouraged it. I wouldn't see Gisela much more until time to pay. Within minutes of returning from the salad bar, a guy emerged from the kitchen with his first of many skewers. I accepted a piece of chicken with bacon as did the couple behind me. So my best analogy is a Chinese dim sum place. They come around every couple minutes to offer you another item. You pay à la carte for dim sum as the waitress checks off any item you accept. However, Toreros is all you can eat for one price, not à la carte. The man speedily emerged every two minutes with another type of meat. It was fast service considering I was one of only three customers. I felt like I was eating fast to race him so I could have room on my plate before his next return! I prefer to take my time and not be rushed. I didn't think to ask for an extra plate. By the time he emerged at the end with a rack of lamb, I felt I should pass as I was getting full. I returned to the salad bar for some tasty asparagus, watermelon, and other stuff. Some reviews allege their food was not fresh. My food tasted fresh. I did wonder whether the meats had been prepared a while ago since the guy began serving me quickly after my first trip to the salad bar. They must cook it ahead of time on the assumption that they will have customers eventually. The guy put the traffic light sort of thing on the table. He tried to explain what each light means regarding service requests. I missed the part about which light meant "check please." So I found Gisela bored at her podium. She asked me cash or card? I had cash on me. I did not know the price would be cheaper paying by cash. I replied, "card." She brought me her portable machine. The usual screen popped up with the tip percentages. I was a little puzzled when she said that was the screen to tip if I wanted. Like, why wouldn't I tip? I assumed she just was being humble and courteous. So I tipped 18%. She hadn't done much but the place had few customers, she seemed nice enough to, so give her some money. The total popped up at $40 plus change. Initially, I declined her offer of the receipt. I returned to my car. I sat in my car in the parking lot. I tried to calculate in my head how the hell my tab came to $40 for a $24.99 buffet, maybe a $4 tip, and $2 tax? Reluctantly, I walked back in and asked for a receipt. Gisela retrieved her machine and printed it out for me. I returned to the parking lot. Only then did I read and learn what many reviews have mentioned. They charged an extra $1.18 for paying by card. They added a whopping $5.03 service charge of 18% for my party of one! All that without really telling me before I thought I was being generous by tipping the girl who brought me a glass of water $5.38.
