Very good food, upscale atmosphere, but it's fine if you're just wearing shorts and a t-shirt. There were even some in swimsuit coverups. Very typical of Florida restaurants, especially in the touristy areas. We can dress it up, but we don't mind if you come as you are! Indoor and outdoor seating with umbrella-covered tables. Not good for rain but perfect to block the Florida sun. Now, the prices. Wellll...we paid $70 for a salad, a sandwich, and two drinks. Not great. But the food was so good, it was worth it. And I think their menu doesn't change, so for dinner it wasn't bad. Whatever you do, don't order a bottle of water to go. It's $10/bottle! I should have ordered a drink instead! Right now, September 2026, they are working out of a makeshift kitchen bc apparently they had a fire in the kitchen at one point, so they might need a little more patience. read more

Greed! That's the only word that comes to mind. Why would you have a kitchen fire in your main kitchen and not inform your customers who had upcoming reservations. Went to Shooters last week. We had reservations made a week before the fire scheduled for 4 days after the fire. When we were seated, we were given a menu on an 8.5 x 11 laminated paper and told it is a LIMITED menu due to a fire in their main kitchen. It was too late to go elsewhere. Some repeat customers at our table were disappointed because what they were looking forward to ordering was not on their LIMITED menu. Such a turnoff. I would have respected it and would have had no problem if we were told prior to that day. They had enough time to reach out to customers who had reservations and give them the option of coming in and dealing with their LIMITED menu or going elsewhere. This is why GREED is the only word for this. Not to mention the fact that, no manager came to the tables to check-in on how we were doing with our LIMITED menu and inconvenience. Overall our food took very long to come out. Before that, the waiter forgot to take two of our orders. One out of the two received the wrong order...there was more but, I digress. I only have myself to blame for ordering a Caesar salad with added grilled chicken and for the amount of money I paid for it. It was a lot of money for some lettuce. The Caesar dressing was almost nonexistent and the chicken had a color which I thought was seasoning, but hardly had any flavor. I asked for extra Caesar dressing to try to redeem the salad, but the dressing was not very flavorful, seemed watered down. Done with Shooters. read more

Shooters has THE BEST service! My sister planned a surprise sunset dinner for my birthday here, and Rob went above and beyond to help her make my day extra special. Despite the unfortunate circumstances with the kitchen fire, I still had an amazing time and truly enjoyed myself. The beautiful sunset, incredible ambiance, and, most importantly, the exceptional service made the evening one to remember. Everything was truly on point! Boated up to Shooters - yes you can easily do that! You don't even need your own boat you can take the water taxi which docks up right there! As soon as we arrived, the downpour started and it never stopped! We drank and ate for as long as we could!! Everything was good, and we ate a lot! Visited Shooters on a Saturday evening with a group to celebrate a birthday dinner. We sat inside so we missed the view of the water but it was just too hot, even at night. The food, drinks and service were good. I had the baked seafood pasta which was very flavorful, although I would prefer the pasta to be more al dente. My only complaint with the service was the fact that we were being rushed to move out of the area they seated us in, so they could set up for brunch the next day. My cousins and I went here for the Sunday brunch buffet. Not a big fan of buffets however Shooters was very impressive. Catching up on my reviews from our July vacation to Lauderdale by the sea. We went to Shooters to celebrate my brother's birthday. We had a party of 5 and were seated outside right on the water. Despite this being a nice restaurant with good food and nice views, our service was so weird. Our waitress was not really friendly and was also just bizarre. I feel bad to say, but she really made our experience so strange. We started with a flatbread and my brother and dad enjoyed the lampchop lollipops. I shared the crab cakes with my mom and LOVED them. I also enjoyed 2 glasses of albarino and other guests loved the old fashioned. For entrees I decided to go with a big ahi tuna salad since it was just so hot outside. The portion size was large, the tuna was delicious, and the veggies were crisp. 2 thumbs up. My brother got a complimentary dessert for his birthday, which was sweet. At night time the outdoor seating is eye level with the sun going down, which is nice, as long as you know you will be blinded by the light. A time was had! My friends and I celebrated my birthday on the Sunset Cruise that left from Shooters. We started with the happy hour, and with the summer heat, we wished they had more shaded areas for those doing happy hour. Service for happy hour could have been better, but we were very understandable ad they had one person serving a whole section in the sun. Once the cruise returned, we had dinner outside. The patio temperature was good at the time, and the ambiance added to the celebratory mood we were in. The lobster roll ( not seen as I ate it quickly) was a hit! I checked out the brunch buffet at Shooters Waterfront in Fort Lauderdale and had a really nice time. We sat outside, and while the canal ain't much to look at, anytime something outside with water is involved, I'm happy. I want to be reincarnated as a mermaid next lifetime. Breeze with water just makes brunch feel a little more relaxing. Watching the little boats cruise by didn't hurt either. The buffet had a good variety. Along with your typical breakfast favorites, there was sushi, carved meats, seafood, salads, desserts, and plenty of other options to justify going back for another plate. Everything I tried was pretty good, and the food stayed well stocked despite how busy they were. The atmosphere is one of the biggest reasons to come. It's lively, has a fun brunch crowd, and is a great spot to catch up with friends over good food and mimosas. They offer valet parking, which was convenient. It was a little slow getting my car when I was ready to leave, but nothing that would keep me from coming back. Overall, I enjoyed my visit. First and foremost, my server (Ashley M.) was the kindest, most sincere person I think I've ever had at a restaurant , and I've been to many different restaurants across the U.S. Ashley consistently checked on us, brought us complimentary champagne - on behalf of Shooter's, of course; thanks, Shooter's - to help celebrate our Anniversary, and it came with a wholesome note/postcard as well. As for the ambiance - this place offers both casual and elegant seating areas (bar is inside, while there is a covered white tent-like area with lighting and decor for a more elegant-like feel, and waterfront/dockside seating for a great view of passing yachts). We sat waterside, where it was quieter and boasted beautiful views. There are also umbrellas here, to provide shade. If you're wondering the attire here, it'll range anywhere between casual to dressy, with dressy occurring a bit more in the evening/night (but isn't required). For our meal, we ordered the following: - Scallops & shrimp - super flavorful and drizzled in a seasoned seafood butter. - Cornbread - first time having cornbread with actual corn within it, and it was pretty good. Though I'd much rather my cornbread in the traditional manner (without corn within), it was still pretty good and moist, and is accompanied with a cinnamon-like butter/spread. It was a tad less-"cinnamon-y", if that makes sense, but wasn't bad. - Truffle Mac and cheese - pretty good, just needed some salt + pepper, which we got upon request. - Roasted chicken - this comes with seasoned roasted carrots (great) and potatoes. The chicken had a *fantastic glaze on its skin, and can be requested as a dip (which we did!). - Lychee Martini - was really good and fresh - Strawberry Coconut Lemonade - was super refreshing and delicious. Went here over the weekend and I will say I enjoyed my food. My first glass of Prosecco was a little flat but our waitress Lauren quickly exchanged it for a fresh and bubbly pour. I got the crab cakes for my appetizer and I thought they were pretty good, however, I will say the potatoes and sauce help bring it all together as the crab cake alone wasn't all too flavorful. My friend had the guava wings and the flavor was good but I thought the wings were a little on the tougher side. For my entree Lauren suggested the Baked Seafood Pasta which didn't disappoint. It was very meaty with lots of shrimp, scallops, mussels and maybe a few pieces of crab (didn't see much in it). But really flavorful, Alfredo sauce was good and it's a huge proportion. First of all, our waitress was super inattentive and took so long to come back to our table (20 mins +) after asking for a few more minutes. As for the food, here's what we tried: -Calamari: 7.5/10 - your standard calamari. Well fried, with a delicious aioli. -Truffle Mac: 8/10 - super SUPER truffley, and we wished there was more cheese flavor, but it got better as we ate. -Korean Beef Shortrib: 2/10 - couldn't eat most of this, it had such a weird flavor that none of us were fans of. It was very sweet. -Lamb lollipops: 6/10 - the mint chimichurri was delicious but the lamb chops were too charred so it was mostly just an ashy flavor. -Guava Chicken Wings: 8/10 - they were delicious! Tender, tasty, saucy. They needed some sort of ranch on them though. -Beef shortrib flatbread: 9/10 - This was our favorite of the night. We arrived into Fort Lauderdale after a cruise and were recommended to try Shooters and we are so glad we did! We came in on a Saturday where there was a brunch buffet but we ordered off the menu instead. It was very spacious inside but it was a nice day so we sat outside overlooking the water. We were able to watch yachts and the water taxi going past as Shooters is a stop for the water taxi. I ordered the Apple Brie Chicken Sandwich and it was a hefty portion size! Every ingredient was so tasty but I had a bit of an issue with the bread falling apart so I finished it off with a fork. The seasoned fries were also great. Shooters Waterfront is one of my favorite places for dining in the Fort Lauderdale area. I used to live across the street, in the Tides Condominiums on one of the higher floors. The food was always good and the service friendly. But it's really the waterfront view that's 'wow'. Just watching the boats go by and people watching. Some of the boats pull up, dock, and dine at Shooters. Will always have fond memories of living across the street from this iconic establishment. Came here in my younger college days also; quite different then, if you know what I mean. Think Spring Break lol. read more

An Unforgettable 50th Birthday at Shooters Waterfront I had to take a moment to share what an amazing experience my family had at Shooters Waterfront while celebrating my sister's 50th birthday. The restaurant had experienced a kitchen fire early Saturday morning, and our reservation was for Sunday evening. The staff had been calling guests to let them know they would be operating with a limited menu, but unfortunately, they had the wrong phone number on file for me. I didn't find out about the fire or the limited menu until we were already on our way. Looking back, I'm actually glad I didn't know sooner! Everything truly worked out the way it was supposed to because I probably would have panicked and tried to find another restaurant at the last minute. And I would have missed what turned out to be one of the most beautiful and memorable evenings we could have asked for. From the moment we arrived, the service was wonderful. Our waitress, Veleria, took such good care of our table and made us feel welcomed despite everything the restaurant had dealt with over the previous 24 hours. And I cannot say enough about Rob, the manager. He went out of his way to make my sister's milestone birthday feel special. He surprised our table with a bottle of champagne so we could toast her 50th, which was such a thoughtful touch and meant so much to our family. We had a beautiful table right on the water, and one moment really stood out to me. We actually overheard the staff telling boaters not to dock directly in front of our table because they didn't want anything blocking our view. That level of thoughtfulness says everything about the service we received. We sat together, enjoyed dinner, watched the boats go by and watched the sunset, even through the clouds. It was beautiful. What impressed me most was that you would never have known this restaurant had experienced a fire just the day before. Instead of allowing the circumstances to define our experience, Rob and his team did everything they could to give us a wonderful evening. My sister's 50th birthday was extremely special to me, and Shooters helped make it a memory our family will talk about for years. Thank you, Rob, Veleria, and the entire Shooters Waterfront team. What a beautiful space! Ignore the name "Shooters" (no offense but that sounds like a dive bar... this was opposite of that!). This has to be the biggest patio in FL! It kept going on and on and it was so stunning! This was a perfect spot to have a sunset dinner. Food: Coconut shrimp - 4 large shrimp. The salsa on top of them made them a little soggy. (Ask for it on the side if you want them crispy) Lobster roll- not the best lobster roll I've had, but tasted fresh. Maybe too much celery for me. The truffle fries were perfection! Grilled lamb chops - very tasty and cooked to desired level. Pork chop - I didn't get a chance to take a pic... my friend scarfed it so fast and said it was really good. Chicken Cobb salad- looked great. Side of truffle Mac- not overly truffle and needed some salt. Dessert- we were all so full but I've never had a baked Alaska! They had one and it was key lime! I Lunch at Shooters Waterfront today was such a nice afternoon after my epidural spine injections! Our seats were perfectly situated on the water, and our hosts, Sarah and Erik, were wonderful friendly, welcoming, and incredibly accommodating. The chili chicken wings were absolutely delicious! I was excited to try the fish dip, but for me it tasted more like cream cheese, so I'll skip it next time. The onion rings were perfect. My vegetable wrap was exactly that lots of fresh vegetables wrapped up. Since I have a soy allergy, I couldn't enjoy the dipping sauces, but that's just my personal limitation. Kicking up our car was a little confusing using the app. In 1982, a TGIF executive owned & named this restaurant. Meghan Leckey & her father Bill McIntyre purchased & overhauled Shooters in 2014. Brunch is served buffet-style or á la carte, with jumbo crab cakes or steak and eggs, bottomless mimosas or bloody marys. The buffet brunch is $55 pp. There are carving, waffle, crepe & omelet stations. The smoked salmon, pastries, salads, fruits, sushi ... were beautiful. The Ala carte menu offered a raw bar, soups, salads, Benedicts, flatbreads, sandwiches, sushi rolls & tacos were fish focused. I've been to Shooters now twice in the last couple of months & I want to go again and again! Brunch is truly amazing, amazing selections if you do the buffet and you can order from the regular menu. Came with a large group for a celebratory brunch. We were able to split checks, which was a huge plus. My drink (passion fruit martini) was delicious and not overly sweet. They have a bottomless mimosa for $30 which would definitely pay off if you were going to have 2 or more. They also offer a brunch buffet, which looked pretty expansive; but there was no way I was going to eat $55 worth of food. The atmosphere is great, and waterfront views are spectacular (unfortunately a giant yacht descended and spilled out a large group, then remained parked during the entirety of our brunch). The service was good; I expected a long wait for our food because the venue was packed and we had a large group, but much to my pleasure our food came out pretty promptly. A member of our party did have an extended wait on her bar drink, so much so that we paid the bill before she received her refill. I enjoyed my food, but the fries were epic...seriously, the best fries I've ever had. This spot is so fun! We sat outside on the waterfront with great weather, and ample shade from the sun, which I appreciated. I opted to valet park although there is a paid lot directly across from the restaurant. We shared the hamachi crudo, which was light and tasty, and beautifully plated with bright colors. It was difficult to decide what to order for lunch, with so many options that I found appealing, but I finally settled on the Godzilla roll at the recommendation of our helpful server, who kept our drinks topped off and brought everything out quickly. While I typically write extensive reviews, brevity is fitting here: beyond the sweeping waterfront view, very little impressed. I visited on a Friday evening after booking via OpenTable. When two guests had to cancel, the restaurant graciously accommodated a later reservation over the phone. Visually, the venue is exceptional--beautifully appointed with a captivating ambient atmosphere. Valet parking is available for $10, though a public garage sits directly across the street for convenience. Unfortunately, the experience waned from there. Service was not so much paced as it was sluggish, stretching past 45 minutes for basic courses. The food proved largely uninspired. The mussels were surprisingly small and served in an unappealingly milky broth. The scratch-made cornbread, while featuring real corn kernels, arrived heavily oversaturated and overly salted. Desserts offered no salvation: the key lime pie was predominantly whipped cream, lacking any true tartness or flavor. The cocktails were similarly disappointing and lacked potency; two Piña Coladas (even one enhanced with a Myers's rum floater) fell flat, and a Casamigos Lemon Drop tasted noticeably diluted. Compounding the issues, the restrooms were in a state of neglect that suggested the maintenance staff had taken the night off. It is a charming setting, to be sure, but hardly one that warrants a return visit. read more
