It was a tad less-"cinnamon-y", if that makes sense, but wasn't bad. - Truffle Mac and cheese - pretty good, just needed some salt + pepper, which we got upon request. - Roasted chicken - this comes with seasoned roasted carrots (great) and potatoes. The chicken had a *fantastic glaze on its skin, and can be requested as a dip (which we did!). - Lychee Martini - was really good and fresh - Strawberry Coconut Lemonade - was super refreshing and delicious. A time was had! My friends and I celebrated my birthday on the Sunset Cruise that left from Shooters. We started with the happy hour, and with the summer heat, we wished they had more shaded areas for those doing happy hour. Service for happy hour could have been better, but we were very understandable ad they had one person serving a whole section in the sun. Once the cruise returned, we had dinner outside. I checked out the brunch buffet at Shooters Waterfront in Fort Lauderdale and had a really nice time. Along with your typical breakfast favorites, there was sushi, carved meats, seafood, salads, desserts, and plenty of other options to justify going back for another plate. Shooters Waterfront is one of my favorite places for dining in the Fort Lauderdale area. I used to live across the street, in the Tides Condominiums on one of the higher floors. The food was always good and the service friendly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]But it's really the waterfront view that's 'wow'. Just watching the boats go by and people watching.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Some of the boats pull up, dock, and dine at Shooters. Will always have fond memories of living across the street from this iconic establishment. Came here in my younger college days also; quite different then, if you know what I mean. First of all, our waitress was super inattentive and took so long to come back to our table (20 mins +) after asking for a few more minutes. As for the food, here's what we tried: -Calamari: 7.5/10 - your standard calamari. Well fried, with a delicious aioli. -Truffle Mac: 8/10 - super SUPER truffley, and we wished there was more cheese flavor, but it got better as we ate. -Korean Beef Shortrib: 2/10 - couldn't eat most of this, it had such a weird flavor that none of us were fans of. It was very sweet. -Lamb lollipops: 6/10 - the mint chimichurri was delicious but the lamb chops were too charred so it was mostly just an ashy flavor. -Guava Chicken Wings: 8/10 - they were delicious! Tender, tasty, saucy. They needed some sort of ranch on them though. -Beef shortrib flatbread: 9/10 - This was our favorite of the night. We arrived into Fort Lauderdale after a cruise and were recommended to try Shooters and we are so glad we did! We came in on a Saturday where there was a brunch buffet but we ordered off the menu instead. It was very spacious inside but it was a nice day so we sat outside overlooking the water. We were able to watch yachts and the water taxi going past as Shooters is a stop for the water taxi. I ordered the Apple Brie Chicken Sandwich and it was a hefty portion size! Every ingredient was so tasty but I had a bit of an issue with the bread falling apart so I finished it off with a fork. The seasoned fries were also great. 6/25/26- Thursday- 6pm- My 71st Birthday! As a widow, Birthday's are always emotionally draining. Shooter's was always our goto Celebration restaurant with my husband and family for so many years. Of course I chose to celebrate here by myself and my service dog. Wow! I received the warmest welcome by all the hostesses and staff! I was so lucky to have Azelia, as my server! She made my experience the best I have had since my husband passed away! She is an exceptional professional, genuinely kind and extremely intuitive! I am so thankful and grateful to be seated in her station. She is a treasure! I was also amazed that Lisa, who I have spoken with so many times, remembered my love for Shooter's and our family history there. She is amazing! The young couple seated behind my table had heard my story and kindly invited me to join them so I wouldn't eat alone. Unbelievably kind! But I politely declined, it was an emotional dinner for me and needed to be alone. This amazing couple was as celebrating a birthday as well and let Azelia know they wanted to treat me to my dinner! Valet was smooth, and I appreciated having the option for indoor or outdoor seating... outdoor was the easy choice. Watching boats dock while catching a sunset made the whole dinner feel like a vibe. Went with the shrimp pasta, which hit the spot, and the spicy mango mocktail was perfectly balanced; refreshing with just the right kick. Bonus points for being dog-friendly. They even have a menu for your pups, so definitely bring your furry friend along. Overall, solid experience with great views, good food, and a relaxed waterfront atmosphere. What a beautiful space! Ignore the name "Shooters" (no offense but that sounds like a dive bar... this was opposite of that!). This has to be the biggest patio in FL! It kept going on and on and it was so stunning! This was a perfect spot to have a sunset dinner. Food: Coconut shrimp - 4 large shrimp. The salsa on top of them made them a little soggy. (Ask for it on the side if you want them crispy) Lobster roll- not the best lobster roll I've had, but tasted fresh. Maybe too much celery for me. The truffle fries were perfection! Grilled lamb chops - very tasty and cooked to desired level. Pork chop - I didn't get a chance to take a pic... my friend scarfed it so fast and said it was really good. Chicken Cobb salad- looked great. Side of truffle Mac- not overly truffle and needed some salt. Dessert- we were all so full but I've never had a baked Alaska! They had one and it was key lime! Reminded me of a fried ice cream. It had delicate flavors and a yummy crumb base. Easily shareable for us 4! Overall, our server was attentive and the drinks were tasty. My friend and I tried Shooters Waterfront while in Fort Lauderdale and the location is honestly hard to beat--right on the water with such a fun, lively vibe. We ordered the sushi tacos and Ahi Tuna Salad. Both were so fresh and tasty! Lauren, our server, was amazing--super friendly, gave great recommendations, and really made the whole experience feel easy and enjoyable. The hostess, on the other hand, came off pretty rude when we asked to sit waterside and didn't really explain the situation. Thankfully, Lauren stepped in, explained that they were transitioning the section for dinner in a few hours, and still went out of her way to accommodate us and make it happen, which we really appreciated. I had know idea Shooters offered such a spectacular brunch. Presentation was FANTASTIC. Our server Chelsea was great. We had a great table on the deck. Arrive early it gets packed. They open at 10am. I asked for the music to be changed and lo and behold Robb changed it and to my surprise Marvin Gaye was on and the entire vibe changed. The bartenders were swaying and enjoying the music !! If you are looking for a nice restaurant that's on the same water in Broward, look no further than Shooters! It's a little pricey and they stay busy but it's worth the wait. This night I came with a few friends with work. We order a few appetizers including the chicken wings and coconut shrimp. Both of them were very good! We went for dinner and started with a few appetizers. We opted for the GRILLED LOLLIPOP LAMB CHOPS which were cooked perfectly, and the PRINCE EDWARD MUSSELS that had a very flavorful sauce - highly recommend both. For dinner I got the PAN SEARED BLACK GROUPER which was overcooked and very dry. My husband got the FILET MIGNON with the add-on lobster tail which was overcooked, but the meat was cooked as requested. Overall it was nice to try, but if we go back it will likely be to enjoy the outdoor seating with a couple drinks and appetizers. Kicking up our car was a little confusing using the app. In 1982, a TGIF executive owned & named this restaurant. Meghan Leckey & her father Bill McIntyre purchased & overhauled Shooters in 2014. Brunch is served buffet-style or á la carte, with jumbo crab cakes or steak and eggs, bottomless mimosas or bloody marys. The buffet brunch is $55 pp. There are carving, waffle, crepe & omelet stations. The smoked salmon, pastries, salads, fruits, sushi ... were beautiful. The Ala carte menu offered a raw bar, soups, salads, Benedicts, flatbreads, sandwiches, sushi rolls & tacos were fish focused. They have a bottomless mimosa for $30 which would definitely pay off if you were going to have 2 or more. They also offer a brunch buffet, which looked pretty expansive; but there was no way I was going to eat $55 worth of food. The atmosphere is great, and waterfront views are spectacular (unfortunately a giant yacht descended and spilled out a large group, then remained parked during the entirety of our brunch). The service was good; I expected a long wait for our food because the venue was packed and we had a large group, but much to my pleasure our food came out pretty promptly. A member of our party did have an extended wait on her bar drink, so much so that we paid the bill before she received her refill. I enjoyed my food, but the fries were epic...seriously, the best fries I've ever had. This spot is so fun! We sat outside on the waterfront with great weather, and ample shade from the sun, which I appreciated. I opted to valet park although there is a paid lot directly across from the restaurant. We shared the hamachi crudo, which was light and tasty, and beautifully plated with bright colors. It was difficult to decide what to order for lunch, with so many options that I found appealing, but I finally settled on the Godzilla roll at the recommendation of our helpful server, who kept our drinks topped off and brought everything out quickly. I was disappointed from a combination of things. I started by ordering the New England Clam Chowder and it came out with pork (bacon) which was not listed on the menu - I do not eat pork so I had to send it back. I have never had clam chowder with bacon. After feeling disappointed by the soup, I got the Godzilla Roll. It was very flavorless. The only flavor came from the seaweed salad on top of it. The service was poor. The hostess called my name to seat us, I walked up to her and then she did a 180° back to the host stand and told the other hostess she couldn't find me. The other hostess turned and said I was right there, and the original hostess who called out did not want to seat us. Our server was slow to getting to us and she was always on the fly. The interior is spacious. When they dim the lights for dinner, the fans that are going on high speed make the lights into strobe lights. I wished I had a better rating for this restaurant. This was my second and last time having dinner there. The first time (Oct. 2025) dinner with family. It wax crowded that night. The view was great. Parking service was amazing. Waitstaff was running around attempting to satisfy the needs of the guest. I had the eggplant. I guess I ordered a small. 4 scoops of sause and a third of eggplant. Sunday, May 17 (my birthday) it was too crowded. With reservations there still was a wait time. No, I was there for a graduation lunch. While waiting for the food (2 hours) guest were entertained by a female jumping into the into the water. Why? She was brought back to the restaurant with blood dripping from her hands. (Just nasty) Long John Silvers, I haven't thought about that place since high school. Shooters fish and chips with 12 French fries brought on that memory. We went to Shooters during our last night of vacation after an 11 night cruise. First, we were glad they had late reservations as we were exhausted! After looking at all the Yelp reviews it was an easy decision. Not only because it was the beginning of stone crab season and they had them, but the whole menu looked great, drinks too! I loved their rum punch and my husband's mojito was a very good one! Not all are. They sat us by the water and the ambiance was fabulous. The weather was nice and it was the perfect spot! The service was fast and friendly! I will definitely come back when in Ft L! All the food we ordered was good. But I do recommend asking for extra clam chowder for the clam chowder baked potato.
