Can't understand the bad reviews, went there on a Saturday night, ambiance was quiet, service was great and fast, drink were good and came really fast too. We all did different seafood boils, all of them were great. Reading other reviews maybe I got lucky but we have a great experience here. Pricing wasn't crazy , was what expected from a seafood place. I order a 1 pound of king crab legs they were super small and dry and got not even half a pound, corn was also super dry and the potatoes were super hard and dry. The food was definitely not worth $100+. read more

When I go to any restaurant with a photo on the menu with the name of the dish I expect to get the food in the photo shown. This establishment covers themselves by telling you up front that you only get one side. So if you order the shrimp basket (pictured with fries, that's not what you're getting if you choose another side. The snarky waitress did say that if you order juice it is not refillable, except that pineapple juice is only for bar drinks. The place is horrible. The manager guy is beyond ridiculous. The service is horrible. He doesn't know how to run a staff every time I go in staff is telling much problems he gives the cashier he had was great, but she no longer works there seems like he can't even keep a staff for his own good. I honestly don't know how this place doesn't have more reviews on Yelp! This place is absolutely amazing. The bar comes well stocked (shout out to Candace for being the best bartender around!) and is great to sit at. You will not be disappointed with the seafood boil with THE BOOM sauce. I added in broccoli and an egg for some extra flavor and everything went so well together. This place is great if you are looking for a casual and reliable bite to eat. Fair warned...you will get messy! You are provided with a bib and gloves if you get the seafood boil. (It adds to the experience!!) P.S. - they have karaoke here too!! I've been coming to crafty crab for a long time now and it's alwayssss been good! I drive by 3 seafood places just to come here. But for some reason this has been the first bad visit. I came and ordered crab legs and crawfish, my friend had a point of crab legs. First, they brought me crab legs and shrimp. Both of our boils had very very little sauce. I told my waiter that I had shrimp instead of crawfish so he gave me a plate to put the shrimp on so he could bring me a bag of crawfish to replace it. We also complained about the little amount of sauce so they said we'd need to pay $6 more for more sauce. We added the sauce to our boil and it made it extremelyyyy salty to the point you can't even eat it. I asked for the manager and she said she would re make both of our boils. When she came back, we had received the same food from the first time. I know this because, the things we had bitten, where still in there! Never is that okay. This food went to complete waste and we still paid for it. I still am In disbelief about my experience today! read more

Two stars go to good environment, good shrimps and ok green mussels. Three non-star goes very dissatisfied crabs, not only they have no meat but also they may be the dead ones, for a quite long time because there's strong ammonia taste and smell. It's not safe to sell such food. Added:I have to reduce one star because I had very bad diarrhea when I got home. I would give zero star if allowed. This place was very good! New place in town, still setting up the bar but don't sleep on it! There are lots of combos that you can make for your meal. The sauce spice level is a little lower than you might think it would be so level up one if you like kick. Would I go back? Absolutely... and I went back twice in the same weekend. read more

Sauce is amazing !! We always get the butter garlic fire level. Fried catfish is very good and crispy. Service was pretty good as well.

This was by far one of the worst experiences I've had in a long time. We were greeted by a person that smelled strongly of cannabis. It was so strong I could smell him from 10 feet away. After we sat down our server did come to our table for about 10 mins. Them come to find out our server was sitting at the bar conversing with someone. We interacted with our server 3 times; once when she took our order, once when she brought the food and drinks and once when she brought us the check. This new spot is the best place to get your seafood boils from. Everything is fresh and made to order. I've ordered pickup, I've ordered delivery and I've also ordered inside and had the best server. I wish I could remember her name but she was great. I've had the best experience every time I order from them. I highly recommend getting the BOOM sauce with any seafood boil you get. This gives me the feeling of a fast food seafood restaurant. The food was abundantly salty. I like the Cajun spice but the salt was so overbearing I could hardly enjoy it. My husband got the garlic butter that was even worse. The one I thought had the least amount of salt was the lemon pepper. The waitress was not familiar with the menu. We were not provided with hard shell crackers to open up the crab until after we had been served our food for at least 5 to 10 minutes. It took another 5 to 10 minutes before we receive a fork to eat our broccoli. We asked for carbonated water and got flat water. The floors were very sticky which tells me they are dirty. My experience with the Crafty Crab was a one star experience if I could give it a -1 I would although the interior of the restaurant was really nice and appealing I enjoy looking at the lights and things of that nature with the mini decorations but the service was a -1 the food was a -1 I went there for lunch I wanted to try it it out but it was a minus one experience I wish I did not but all in all I'll give it a one star but I really would like to give it a -1 star if I could, my server look like he just rolled out of the bed and came to work not attentive didn't check to see if we were enjoying the food, if everything was OK it was not, it was a bad experience I would not go back there and I enjoy restaurants but I would not go back to that one this was Robin's experience and boy was it a bad one long wait no customers in the restaurant but me and my coworker and we still managed to wait about 20 minutes to 30 minutes to an hour for food that was bad from the door if you see the crafty crab just drive by don't stop don't investigate some peoples experiences are better than others but I think this is a normal for this restaurant read more
