If I could rate more stars I would. My AC wasn't working so I checked Yelp and decided on Craig's AC and Repair Shop. I called Mr Craig on Monday morning and he returned my call the same day. My appointment was at 10:00 AM and that's when he started working on my car. My AC Freon was almost empty. Mr Craig replenish my AC and now I'm a happy camper. My car is humming a nice cold AC in this super hot Texas temperatures. The cost was fair especially with everyone pinching their money and budgeting. I'm so thankful I found Craig's Auto. I'd rather fight then switch is the saying when your super happy with your repaired car. Also I want to add I forgot my wallet of all things. The fear and disgust I felt was unimaginable. However Mr Craig trusted me and let me leave his establishment drive home to get my wallet. I appreciate him so much! With so much pain in our society currently this is how healing begins. Someone recommended Craig to me a long time ago and I've used him ever since. Honest and down to earth. Never has overcharged me, ever! I have recommended him to people for years and everyone is absolutely thrilled with him. He is extremely smart and he fixes more than just electrical stuff on your car - he can do it all. I had been to a repair shop on Green Oaks to inquire about fixing my air conditioning. Pictures were sent to me showing holes in my connection, was told everything needed replacing and the price quoted to me was so unreasonable I told them nevermind and made an appointment with my Credit Union for a loan. After looking at the prices for used cars I called Craig's and made an appointment for an estimate two days before my bank appointment. He told me he could fix my air by replacing seals and adding freon. Encouraged by the much lower pricing I went ahead and replaced my thermostat (my engine light had come on) and blinkers. I have always been treated more than fairly here. Been using Craig for many years. He will not do more work than is necessary in order to inflate repair charges when it would have been easy to do so. He is awesome on AC and electrical repairs but has done my brakes and various other issues also. He pretty much does it all. I recommend my friends and family to him, which is saying something!!! Very Honest and reasonably priced. Craig and his wife were awesome to deal with and explained every step of the way to figure out what was going on with my a/c. I will NOT be using another mechanic. Not only did he take the time to tell me what he was doing at each step, he also made me aware of the cost at each step. I appreciated that greatly as going to the mechanic is typically a painful thing where you get hit with a large bill at the end. Not here. No pain and no outrageous prices. We have been taking our cars to Craig for both repair and maintenance for the past 24 years. Over the years Craig has repaired our Jettas, Suburbans, Explorers, and Lexus.
