This is one of places where I'd like to hide in the bathroom until after closing and then come out when the store is empty and pretend like I live there. Creepy, I know... but really... I would love to play house in this store. I want everything in here. This store is filled with things I want, things I need, and things I think I can't live without. They have all the best furniture, kitchen gadgets, dishes, rugs, everything! The staff here have always been super helpful and friendly and they are very good at showing you that special item that wasn't on your list. On my last visit, I was introduced to a garlic press. Until now, I thought my normal way of slicing garlic was sufficient... now, I don't know how I ever lived without a garlic press! I have to say, this new location (outside of Lenox Mall) is very welcoming and accessible. I have been here many more times than I would have if the store was still inside the mall. Sometimes, you just don't want to deal with the mall crowd and Crate and Barrel has a nice parking lot so you can be in and out! read more

I have only bought a few things from Crate & Barrel and mostly this location. The customer service is great and I highly recommend this place! Last year I bought a wine cooler online and got it shipped free to this store. One of their sales guys helped get it into my car. Parking is great at this location....right in front of the store! Today I went there to purchase a planter that was no longer available online and only available in store. Unfortunately this store did not have it. There was one salesperson who helped me look for it on the floor and another sales person who searched the warehouse for it. Then they called to Avalon store which had it and I was able to reserve it with my credit card on the phone. I was very pleasantly surprised by the customer service today because there were a lot of folks in the store given that it was Saturday around noon. Later that afternoon I drove to Alpharetta to pick it up. Though the Avalon store is very nice and helpful, the parking situation stinks. read more

The sales lady in the furniture department was way more interested in her tablet than any customers. She was very comfortable behind the sales desk. She just seemed very snarky when I was looking at a marked down chair. I decided to just walk out. I'm sure I can find a small orange fabric chair somewhere for $450 that would appreciate and maybe even enjoy my business. read more

This store has nearly single-handedly helped furnish my house. Kim, Connie, Alan, Joe and Todd are all over on the furniture side. They have worked very hard for us to help identify items that may be low in stock or discontinued. Likewise, they have contacted me at home to notify me of sales, or of a particular item that may interest us. I can't say enough about how wonderful they all are! If you need moderately priced, quality furniture and excellent service, this is the place to come! I prefer this location over the other furniture store location at North Point. read more

Hello, I just wanted to file a complaint about my experience at the lenox store in Atlanta. A friend of mine and I went to look at rugs and decided to take some samples home to test them, an employee named Todd helped us with them and he was very nice, the problem was when we went to pay for them, one of the cashiers , her name was Michele basically yelled at another employee to come and help us check out (I did not get his name but it was a male associate) he looked as he was already helping other customers, and he did say so, then she turned around and tell us that we are going to have to wait, we did not mind but me and the other customers looked at each other and were ready to leave. I did not care about the wait but it was more about the way she talked to the other employee and how rude and loud she was. I prefer this location since it is close to my home but next time I will rather visit the one in Alpharetta. read more

Called in to see if they had a certain espresso machine that I saw online, and they were able to tell me how many they had in store over the phone. The customer service over the phone was awesome, which made me hurry in my car and drive over to Lenox (as the store is right next to the mall). Crate & Barrel has a seperate parking lot from the Mall, which is great because you can stay out of the hustle and bustle of it all. It also makes for easy going and coming. Upon walking into the store, I was greeted by Gloria, who is the sweetest. She was able to get the espresso machine I wanted, and box it up for me with tissue paper (it was a gift), and have me out of the store in less than fifteen minutes. She also managed to sign me up for the Crate & Barrel email list so I can receive coupons in the future. I do not shop in Crate & Barrel often, but with quality customer service like I experienced, I know I'll be back. read more

The was the first time I stopped in a Crate & Barrel location in Atlanta. I was greeted by six different employees in less than two minutes. Impressive. As I was walking around the store the music that I was hearing sounded different, like the speakers were centralized and it was really high-end speakers too! When I looked around I saw one women playing a violin and another playing a cello. Again, I'm impressed. When I walk to the back of the store I see a display with mini cupcakes and other small treats. I know I'm in Buckhead and it's an upscale area but I'm thinking damn, this is a pretty nice Crate & Barrel. I'm kind of scratching my head though as it isn't making sense so I politely ask one of the employees if this is all normal or done for some special reason. He said they did all this all for me and I was about to say wow (okay I really wasn't) but then he told me it was for a wedding registry special event they were having that evening. I'm glad I was informed about this as it would have been a horrible idea to try to pick up that woman that was checking out the pots & pans section. Ok, about the store. It's located in the shopping area outside the Lenox mall. It has a good amount of space and it's easy to walk around. I was a fan of their displays and I like all the accessories that they used to compliment the displays. For example, they have a display of a juicer and next to it they have a few different books to purchase, recommended glasses, and different tools that you could use so this a store that has some good ideas. read more

I love this place, but I'd love it more if their prices were not so astronomical. They have lots of cool stuff that you absolutely do not need but that you still want. They have very pricey furniture (which I cannot afford), and moderately-to-pricey kitchen and dining room items. For the most part, their stuff is good quality. OMG! I love this store, if only I had more money I would furnish my whole house with their products from the kitchen to the bedroom. Went there to purchase some requested items for the bride for her wedding and fell in love with all their products. I pointing out all this items I would love to buy for the kitchen and the hub looks at me like are you gonna really used the items because you know you don't cook. I dont know anyone that doesnt love Crate & Barrel. Some things are fairly inexpensive and others are redic. The sales ppl are typically knowledgable. I bought a Christmas present of barefoot contessa cupcakes (chocolate cupcakes, vanilla icing with peppermint sprinkles) and they didnt carry them the next year. Terrible delivery time. We purchased a piece of furniture and a week later we received an email stating "ready for pick up". But it was just one box of the two. When we complained the answer was at least two more weeks for delivery of the other box. So it will be at least a total of 3 weeks and not the ten days they originally stated. We waisted our time driving to the store thinking the order was ready. Very disappointed in the lack of service. Recommendation if your product is not in stock don't believe delivery times, they could be double or more. read more

Great service. They constantly went to the back storage to bring out items I wanted from the website that were not on the store shelves. Additionally, the cashier went out of their way to make sure everything was neatly wrapped in paper before placing into my bag. I visited Crate & Barrel at Lenox a few days ago, and I was just blown away by the GREAT, FRIENDLY, amazing service. Noelee waited on me, and even though I was looking for clearance items (gorgeous little Baker bowls), she spent about 15 minutes trying to help me find them, looked online, and then even tried to get me connected with the Outlet Store in NJ. She was just incredibly pleasant, kind and fun -- I walked out of the store with three wedding presents (all on sale), having had a wonderful retail experience. I LOVE this store!!! read more

We have had a horrible experience with this store. After relocating to Atlanta, we purchased items to be delivered in anticipation of guests arriving shortly after the 4th of July (we actually canceled plans for the 4th to take delivery that day). We received a call on the 3rd saying it wasn't on the truck so no delivery... We rescheduled for the 15th and ended up entertaining our guests with outdoor furniture... It was very classy. Well today is the 14th and I just received an identical call to the one on the third... Not on the truck, so no delivery. We canceled the order. They lost $4k in business not only because of failure to deliver something after over 1 month of waiting, but very poor customer service. We will never shop at this store again. read more

Went to Crate and Barrel the other day. I really like their furniture and style (we registered there for our wedding a couple years ago), but in addition to that, I thought this particular location had excellent service. We were greeted by a number of different employees as we looked through the store, and when we had questions it was always very easy to find someone. They were very knowledgeable and even went what I would call above and beyond. For example, we asked one employee (Jimmie) which of the sofas in the store were sleepers. Not only did he point them out to us (which would have satisfied our original question), he opened up one of the floor models so that we could try it, and he got us a catalogue and highlighted all of the sleeper sofas so they'd be easy to find and compare as we think things over. Furniture shopping is a bit of a long process (at least for us), but I appreciated that none of the employees put any pressure on us to make quick decisions (one even suggested waiting for a sale that was schedule to start the next week - so helpful!). read more

Crate and Barrel is a terrible company. We ordered a $1300 tv stand and requested to be shipped to the store since we live in Alabama. The sales associates are so idiotic enough to not have mentioned the offsite warehouse closes at 1 pm on Saturday. The sales associate Jimmie just said we can get it on Saturday. We rented a uhaul, drove 4 hours to Atlanta to find this out. I called the manager and she was also an idiot and lied to me saying that a sheet was handed to us with the info (we bought this over the phone so NOTHING was handed to us. ) I will never purchase from c&b again and the employees who work at this location are morons who deserve to lose their jobs. read more

The customer service at Crate & Barrel is excellent, both at the Lenox location and North Point...unlike West Elm. We are always greeted with a smile. They always make sure you know they're here to help but at the same time not smother you like other stores do. We recently bought a sofa and two chairs along with some other home items here. I recently purchased three bookshelves from Crate & Barrel's on-line store. One piece was broken on the original order. It took me over a week to receive a replacement piece that, of course, did not fit. After another week of waiting, I finally received a replacement bookshelf that I was required to assemble. Once complete, realized it was a different piece. Same color, but a different height from the original order. The level of incompetence shown by C&B, and their call center staff, was impressive at every turn. I will never order anything from this store again. read more

I love this store! It has great decorations and kitchen items. I also love the placemats and napkins selection. I have bought a few dishes from them and after running through the dishwasher they had cracks in them. So beware of that. When I returned the dishes I received a store credit which was fine with me because I do love the store! It's a great location too! read more

I bought one of their larger wine glasses a few months ago and loved it so I decided to purchase an entire set online. I drove across town to Buckhead to pick up my order but unfortunately was delayed by an accident on the highway and arrived 10 minutes after closing. I apologized to the associate who opened the door and explained that normally I would not have even asked but that my order was about to be cancelled and refunded as it was nearing the 14 day mark. She got on her walkie talkie (I assumed to help me since she asked when my order would expire) but all that happened was another associate rudely walked up and told me "We're closed, you need to come back tomorrow". Then as I was saying okay, another employee walked up to make sure she closed the door in my face. Seeing as they had just closed and there were still customers inside, they definitely did not have to be so rude. But since I have work tomorrow, I guess my order will be cancelled. Oh well. I do NOT spend my money where I am mistreated. read more
