Crate & Barrel has an outlet shop the in the Vacaville Outlets in Vacaville, CA. Discounted Crate & Barrel (CB) inventory?!? Yup. When I'm at the outlets, this is one of the shops I must stop at. CB is one of my favorite retail furniture and home stores. Their style leans to being modern and functionally minimalist. I visited recently. The staff greeted us and everyone that walked in. Staff individually moved about the shop asking folks if they needed assistance. We spoke to a couple of associates; they were engaging and helpful. This weekend they are having an additional discount of 10% added to the already tiered markdown prices.. And the items not marked down are 20% off. This sale structure is common of them. The inventory of furniture was in good shape and in my opinion, was marked down accordingly. Don't get me wrong, it's a discount outlet so there's a reason the furniture is there... damaged, retail returned or discontinued. So check out the pieces throughly to see if it meets your standards before purchasing as most items are final sale. And if you like an item, get a sales person attention and stay with the item. Remember since these are not stock pieces. Other folks are also eyeing the same items. This discount shopping ain't for wallflowers. I like to browse the housewares (service ware, glassware, all of that). These pieces aren't broken, but are likely discontinued. read more

It didn't seem to be organized when I visited. I walked in and there were a few employees in there, but no one acknowledged I was there. I walked around the store and absolutely nothing was jumping out "buy me". You can better value at one of the other houseware places and maybe a better selection. read more

You can find some pretty deep percentage discounts here but a decent amount of the items aren't in the best condition. Sofa colors may be faded/graying and tables may have scratches and marks on them. But if you're willing to restore things, then it works. There's also some items that really aren't discounted like small kitchen tools, so be sure to ask before assuming everything is discounted in the store. This store is seems older and less well lighted inside compared to the other Vacaville furniture outlets nearby. Friendly service is a plus. read more

Things and Stuff and lots of Furniture [Vacaville CA] From across the street of the West Elm Outlet on the West Plaza of the Vacaville Outlets I walked over to the Crate & Barrel Outlet. I really like Crate & Barrel and I like browsing through the merch at our local mall at the Galleria in Roseville but I was surprised and excited at the same time to learn about this outlet store. I needed to replace a few worn out kitchen items... a few things I was looking for were a swivel peeler and can opener. I purchased a Double Coffee Measuring Spoon for my hubby and was contemplating on getting a hand mixer. Alas! I got a text from my daughter and said they're done shopping and we needed to go... As I've been a big fan of the merchandise that Crate and Barrel sells out of their various locations (many of which are adjacent to a shopping mall), I was hoping that the "Crate and Barrel Outlet" would have some screaming deals that are hard to pass up. Boy, was I wrong! This location is at the (quieter part of the) Vacaville Outlet stores off of Nut Tree Rd. and Nut Tree Pkwy. in Vacaville, CA. Parking was a breeze, even on a Saturday afternoon where I happened to find a parking spot directly in front of the building. At first glance, this place looks like a giant warehouse with an endless amount of merchandise. But as you look closer, much of this merchandise looks as if it's been returned from one of their main retail locations (which I'll get into detail a little bit later). Here, you will find an abundance of sofas, modern furniture, tables, kitchen appliances, dinnerware, rugs, lighting, bedding, bath products, pillows, vases, well, you get the idea. As I mentioned, this place is huge and is actually about the size of a department store with plenty of square footage. And just about all of the merchandise is the product that is for sale on their showroom floor. However, upon further inspection, quite a bit of this merchandise is damaged with knicks, stains, and scratches; especially on the sofas, sectionals, and chairs. The same goes for some of the artwork and lamps. There were a few pieces that looked really nice but on one very nice vase, part of it was broken! But here's the dealbreaker... The prices are around the SAME of what you would find at a regular Crate and Barrel store. And this supposed to be an outlet store. Either way, I came here feeling enthusiastic and ended up leaving empty handed and rather disappointed. However, the customer service here was good as a few different employees asked if I needed help finding anything. And I get it, they don't have any control over the product line as this is pretty much sold as-is. But I would thoroughly look over everything carefully. Because what you see is what you get. With that said and done, I am giving the Vacaville "Crate and Barrel Outlet" store a below-average two star rating. read more

So when I heard of this "Crate and Barrel Outlet Store" I really thought that I was being Punk'd. Growing up, Crate and Barrel was known for being expensive and bougie, like if Louis Vuitton had a discount store, they just didn't exist to me. So when I visited C&B Outlet I didn't know what to exactly expect. This location is big. They sell home decor, mostly dishes and plates, cooking/eating items, furniture like couches, chairs and tables. There is also a section of dressers and nightstands but you need to look very closely because most items are damaged, hence the major major discounted price. Yes, you are praying for the Crate & Barrel name but not all items are in tip top shape. So inspect, inspect inspect! All sales are final. read more

Over 8 years of writing reviews and I've never said I hated any establishment but I hate hate hate this crate and barrel outlet. They sold me a table top without any legs and wouldn't give me a refund even though the receipt said table not tabletop. This place is a scam and the workers are petty and live low lives so at the end of the day I feel like it could be worse, I could be working at crate and barrel being influenced by them. What happened to this favorite outlet. Despite the friendly staff- the place is selling literal trash. At the front door a filthy, torn couch. The place is filled with broken furniture at ridiculous prices. These items would be $30 at Goodwill...not $1,300 Why do they bother to ship this crud all over the place... just donate it to a shelter or recycle it... So here's my story: 2023 , I took my family to Cebu ,Philippines for the first time... while I was in Cebu I really wanted to bring back home a capiz shell pendant light .. I was willing to pay special shipping to take it home too, BUT I never saw or seen any!!! I searched every time we went to a market or mall!!! Then when I was at crate and barrel outlet last weekend in Vacaville, hiighhhh up in the corner , in a box , on the highest shelf of the warehouse floor was a big box with a black and white drawing of a pendant that looked like it could be a fixture similar to capiz.. So I had someone come out with a ladder to take it down... before she could open it , on the side it said : made in Lapu-Lapu Cebu!!!! I showed him photos of my style and off he went to pull together pieces for each room. It helped that there were incredible sales, 80% off lowest price on select items. Thank goodness there are plenty of other stores in the area, because if I drove 40 minutes for just this Crate and Barrel Outlet I would've been extremely disappointed. They had a very small selection of table and chairs, most of which were chipped and scratched. Many items were not marked down well enough to make it an outlet price. Ultimately, I had a $400 Crate and Barrel giftcard and I couldn't find a single thing to spend it on. Ended up walking across the parking lot to the West Elm Outlet and bought a beautiful dining table there! We were told that this store is new, so that may be the reason for their little inventory. We were also told they mark down items based on how long it's been on the floor. What is the point of this store? It's been years since the old C&B outlet store on 4th Street in Berkeley closed. It was crammed full of bargains, leftovers, sales. When I saw that this one was in Vacaville, I was excited to stop in. What a disappointment. One wall of shelves with dishes and kitchenware. The rest of the space filled with cheap, overpriced furniture. I checked crateandbarrel.com on my phone to find that everything on those shelves was the exact same price online - with free delivery. Seriously? You guys can't knock a buck off since I'm picking it up myself? The selection online was much better. So unless you want to drive a long way just to touch/feel the same dishes at the same price, just order online. What a joke. read more

Just wanted to update to say that even though the furniture store doesn't offer delivery directly there are services like Lugg that offer delivery (just take a picture of the receipt get a quote in the app and you don't even have to be present for pick up) and the store staff know some reliable movers that also can help at reasonable prices. Quality furniture is heavy so delivery is often needed even if you have enough space, the cost (depending on distance) is almost always way less than delivery for new furniture from Tracy Warehouse (the fees have increased lately). read more

As a longtime patron of Crate and barrel, I've had my fair share of positive experiences. However, my recent encounter with one of their managers, Amanda has left me, utterly dismayed and questioning the competence of their leadership. During my last visit to the store, I encountered a problem with an item I purchase. naturally I sought assistance from a manager, expecting a resolution or at the very least some guidance did. I know that I was about to embark on a journey of frustration and disappointment, the manager in question seem utterly clueless about basic customer service principles. instead of addressing my concerns with professionalism and empathy they appeared this interested and indifferent. It was as if they were doing me a favor by sparring a moment of their precious time not only Did this manager lack the ability to provide solution but they also failed to display any semblance of product knowledge it was baffling to witness someone in a position of authority at a home furnishing store being completely oblivious to the merchandise, they sell to add insult to the injury. Their demeanor was nothing short of dismissive and condescending rather than attempting to assist me. They were sorted to deflecting, blame and making excuses. It was abundantly clear that the customer satisfaction was not a priority for them. competence and apathy have no place in a managerial role, especially in a retail environment where customer interactions are paramount. unfortunately this manager Amanda at Crate and barrel epitomized everything that is wrong with ineffective leadership. In conclusion, my experience with Amanda was a profound disappointment. Their incompetence and lack of helpfulness not only tarnished my perception of crate and barrel but also raised serious questions about the caliber of individuals entrusted with managerial responsibilities. Unless there are significant improvements in leadership, I see no reason to continue patronizing a store that condones such subpar standards. I was told by the manager Amanda that they would hold an item for me until they gave me an update about it and then it was sold within a day. Within the day Amanda told me they would hold it. Also, I was quoted for a part of the item and then was told later on that the part would not be sold until another part arrived to complete it. Everything has been reported to higher-ups in the company, not only to the outlet, and as a well-connected individual in this industry, I will let my circle know of this situation.
