I was disappointed however when I got home and realized they each had large bugs (pincher maybe?) inside their pots. Kimberly waited on me at the checkstand. She was kind and efficient. I came into Lowe's today to purchase a Microwave for an elderly couple who I help with random house maintenance. While I was driving there I got a text from a tenant that I manage a house for who told me their dishwasher is having troubles and needs replacement. I walked around for a bit in appliances to see which microwave and dishwasher I could purchase. There was 1 person working the appliances helping someone already, the. myself and 1 other person waiting for help. The employee noticed us waiting and quickly called for more associates to come help in appliances. Within 5 or so minutes someone (Kiera) had come over to ask if I needed help. I told her I wanted to purchase a microwave and walked her over to the one I wanted which fortunately in stock so she went to the back to get it. While waiting I was trying to make a decision on which dishwasher I was going to purchase. While I was waiting for Kiera. Another associate came over to see if I needed help. The other person that needed help was already being helped. Shortly after Kiera came out with the microwave I wanted then asked if I needed help with anything else. I told her I needed to purchase a dishwasher for a rental house. She was very knowledgeable about the different dishwashers and explained to me the differences of each one I pointed out as well as check to see if they had them in stock. I finally decided on an LG dishwasher that was in stock so I can get the quickest delivery and install. It costs $209 for the delivery, install and haul away of the old dishwasher and another $50 for the power cord and required hoses/parts. Since the dishwasher was in stock, I should be hearing from the delivery/installation person in the next couple days to schedule the delivery/install. Fortunately, I can install the microwave myself. I'm not sure if Lowe's just happened to have more employees working today (Sunday, 2/2/26) or they have improved their service, but it was a very pleasant experience today. An employee by the name of Demarco called me. We got to talking about me buying paint for my house project. He had contacted the manufacturer and got me a great deal. A few days before he told me about item's on clarence so I got a great deal on an expensive shelf as well. I've had nothing but great experiences at the Lowe's in Vacaville. I even became a pro so now I get free coffee and more good deals. I definitely recommend checking out this Lowe's. Open 7 days a week from 6am to 10pm and on Sundays from 7am to 8pm. Plenty of parking. Service - Self service. Price - More expensive than competitors, but still reasonably priced. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 1921 with your 1700+ locations and now shrinking?!?! You were #1, the largest hardware chain store in America, until 1989 when Home Depot surpassed you. I decided to order a Pit Boss pellet grill online and have them put it together for me since there was no additional charge for the delivery or putting it together. My first delivery, the grill was damaged. Upon delivery, the driver told me that it had a dent in it and that they should've called me in the morning. I received no call. They rescheduled the delivery for a new one which was supposed to be on Friday. Friday they moved it to Saturday. Saturday They moved it to Sunday. Sunday's delivery was damaged worse than the initial delivery . I was pretty irritated. Told him to take it back drove over to Lowe's. Fortunately, it's only a few minutes from my house. Asked for a manager . At this point, I figured I would just pick up the grill on my own and it put it together myself. I mean, how hard is it not to damage something . Upon speaking to the manager , she was extremely kind and apologetic and gave me 50% off, which really was not necessary. One thing about dealing with the big box stores they do back what they sell, and sometimes their customer service is really stellar. They loaded the grill into my car. We were at Lowe's on 9/1/2025 - Memorial Day to buy two filters for the refridgerator. The website showed that they had 8 in stock and the aisle and bin where we could find them...easy peasy right? They were not where the website said they were and nowhere in the department. We tried to get help from the one woman working but she was slammed with customers waiting to buy appliances. Apparently Lowe's had a big sale for the holiday...sadly they put all that onto one employee to handle. We went home and ordered those from Amazon for less money. Not a fan of this location,but, I go to it from time to time because it's so close to home. I came Saturday afternoon for a planter for my monastera. I mistakenly didn't bring the plant with me and bought a planter too small from a different location. So, this was my final stop before heading home to work on repotting my new plant. The garden center at this location was spacious and had a lot of things. They actually had employees on the floor. No one greeted me or asked if I needed assistance. They seemed too busy on other things. I was able to find planters in a fat back aisle. Problem was the lights in the back aisles were off, so, i had to walk in the dark to get what I needed through those back aisles. Maybe this explains why there no other customers. I'm not sure if I want to come to this location again. This is not my first time here and having an "meh" experience. I rather drive to Sacramento or Fairfield next time I have to go to Lowe's. I bought a refrigerator here. Their delivery people are a clown show. They did Not do the install I paid for. They said they would come back if I made another appointment so I did, and they never showed up! Thanks to them after spending 2,000 for a fridge we Do Not have anything except a huge cardboard box with a fridge in it sitting in my yard. They are a totally inept and incompetent operation. I would not recommend buying anything from this place. Most workers are rude to customers and often they don't know what they're doing. If you really have to pickup something in this store come during the day time and avoid the afternoon shift workers. Then there's the delivery issues; the automated delivery response (the robot on the phone) is inaccurate. You need to speak to the delivery team to get the real schedule.... if you can get a hold of them. Which not very good in updates and expect you to wait at home for that 5 hours span once you get the delivery timeline. Customer service in this store are not customer oriented in person or on the phone. They will scan your calls and wont answer if you called twice. read more

I have not had any issues with Lowe's until today. Woman was not professional, cussed, kept telling me no, "you can't do that", instead of explaining installation issues. We lost our home in the LNU Fire 4 years ago. We are almost done with our rebuild now, including all of the tile for the bathrooms. We purchased some tile at this location on June 8. The contractor wasn't quite ready for it yet, we just wanted to make sure it was there when he was ready. He finished the bathroom and we way overestimated how much we would need, and we had 50 pieces left over. We tried to return it on September 8, and we were told it was past the 90 day mark, by TWO days. We asked to speak to a manager, and she also told us we were too late. If this happens at Home Depot they will always take care of the customer. We know this from experience having been rebuilding our house for the last year and a half. Lowes promised a rebate of new cookware for an oven we bought costing $1499. After three tries, our on-line rebate application was continually rejected. The Lowes telephone support team and website are unresponsive. There is no way you can get in touch with a human being to resolve the issue. I wish I could give no stars. Except the sales person was helping when buying my washer and dryer. After this customer HAS BEEN AWFUL. My brand new whirlpool dryer has not worked properly since the first time I used it. The sensor turns off the dryer when the clothes are still wet. I called Lowe's and they said I had to call Whirlpool and there was nothing they could do. I've been trying to have someone look at my dryer since 12/26 and I still haven't been able to have a repair person look at it or return it. I'll never buy appliances though then again. I should have known better since they also screwed up a washing machine delivery last year. Buy your appliances at Costco. read more

Gosh I don't know if I can even stand by 3 stars but I'll try. This is a COVID update. A lot of stores do curbside pickup. Am I grateful for that? Yes. It's pretty fast, convenient and safer than shopping in store. They get one star for having that option available. Though, I wish they had an option to add a pick up person. A lot of companies like kohl's allow for that. Because let's be honest, a lot of times you will have one person pay for something that maybe someone else can pick up. I know for me, I purchase things but may not necessarily be able to pick up the items as easily as another member of the household. But, this way that they do it is safe. I feel comforted knowing that the items I buy probably won't get stolen. So one star for that as well even though it is competing with a feature I prefer. I do realize the items at Lowe's can be more expensive than say Kohl's. So I do understand why the upper powers that be implemented this. Heck, another star for that I suppose. Bought a washer and dryer a week ago thinking it would be delivered today 7/25/24. During the entire buying process we made sure MULTIPLE times that they could deliver onto a military base. I personally watched the cashier put in everywhere that we lived on base. I watched her type it in and fill out everything! She specifically knew they only delivered on Thursdays. Great! Uh NO!!! The delivery company DSI in Oakley CA is trying to say that they were unaware. I have talked with the customer service 4 times today and all the representatives have verified with me that the information that we lived on base was there!!!! Not my fault that company was ill prepared!! I have been moving literally across the damn world for 3 months and need a washer and dryer. We planned a lot of things around this delivery. This is such a huge disappointment. I think the lack of care is more so the biggest thing. No apologies, no sort of reimbursement, no accountability for THEIR mistakes!!! This is NOT right! I did everything on my part and am being forced to wait another week for a delivery. Look I get this may sound absurd but people budget and plan their lives around this stuff. Then all the shit we have been through and then this to happen? What a shame. If I could give 0 stars I would. Lowe's is NOT military friendly!!! After nearly 9 years of going to this location, it is still my go to place. Maybe it is because it is slightly closer to my house than the Orange Big Box Home Improvement place, but maybe not. I have worked at the Orange place for 4+ years (different location) so you would think I might be partial to it, but no. Lowe's is far better for me. They seem to keep things organized much better. Noticeable better. I see many very lower stars. Make sure to realize, this place is a wear house, always has been, always will be. They are not set up to be like your local ACE Store. Going to Lowe's and the other places like this, you are on your own. But thats okay with me. I am not there to learn how to rewire my house, or pour concrete, I am there to get what I need and leave. Every time I try and buy plants from here, half don't have the price. I understand a couple missing tags, but also when you bring up the ones that don't have the tag on, the employees at the check out make you go back and find one that does instead of them attempting to help. This is not professional, as it is not on the customer to have to search through and find one with a tag and bring two up just so they can ring them up. It is extremely frustrating and a waste of time, especially when you come back and you're stuck behind other customers again even though you've already waited in line... First off, we have been going to this Lowes for a long time and never had any issues. But, We had previously gone to this Lowes to obtain some paint and we were told by a worker that we could bring in a small sample of our wall to match the paint. We brought a sample of paint from our house that was on a light switch and the old man working at the counter stated that he wouldn't be able to use the sample and that he couldn't use a photo match either... Went to Home Depot and the worker there did it in 5 seconds. Lowes needs to stop advertising that they color match when they have lazy workers who don't want to do their job. 10 STARS for employee Yolanda!! Detailed in hopes that management/ corporate read about her extra-mile approach!! June 19th around 6:40pm we stopped in for a package of button batteries because the "Batteries+Bulbs" shop was closed. Wasn't even sure Lowe's carried what we needed, but figured we were already in the parking lot, why not try. Looked around and found the batteries display near the self-checkout area... it was obvious that someone had failed to stock ANY batteries for some time. Nearly every hook was empty!! I saw the tag for the ones we needed, but of course that hook was also empty. Figured I'd ask someone if there was another place to find batteries, perhaps a dedicated isle? Yolanda just so happened to be walking toward us on our way to go find help... she had a cart (maybe go-backs?), so I asked if she wasn't helping anyone, would she mind pointing us in the right direction? I asked if there were any other places they keep/display batteries. She pointed to where we'd already looked and added that sometimes there are hanging displays on random isles. She scanned the item we needed and it showed they had some. She tried checking the place where battery back-stock is usually stored, but whoever was in charge of batteries had switched up the location. Yolanda asked a few employees if they knew where the battery back-stock was now being stored-- no one knew. She told us to hang on... she went up and down a few isles checking for hanging displays or end caps. Since she went to the right, I decided to check the left side of the store. We met back in the middle and neither of us had found the ones needed. She had us wait again while she tried looking in another spot she'd thought of, and she asked a few more people about them. Yolanda was super persistent!! It was clear that she was NOT giving up which was very nice of her. We all knew the batteries were SOMEWHERE in the store, but I told her it was okay, thanked her for trying, and proceeded to self-checkout to buy the little (cool, but useless) trinket we'd found in the random add-on area while we were waiting. I joked with her that as soon as we left, she would find the dang batteries, lol. We paid for our things, walked to the exit, the automatic doors opened for us, and we were literally stepping outside when we heard some far-off voice--- hollering, "I found them! I found them!" We almost didn't realize it was directed at us, but she kept saying those words as she jogged up to the front from several isles away to where we had stopped. How cool was that??!! I wanted to hug her. We stepped back over to self-checkout and paid for what we actually came to Lowe's for... all because Yolanda went over & above her duties to help customers. And we were able to replace the batteries in Dad's device just in time for Father's Day celebrations!! read more

During covid-19, I was blessed to be selected to work from home, now it was that I needed Ethernet cord long enough to build it at home work space on a temporary order I had visited a couple other stores in the area that mention these cords had went very quickly and very fast leaving me with other options such as Lowe's. To my surprise I walked in business as usual everyone keeping their distance and was able to find not one not two but over three selections and additional items that I wanted to pick up. At the checkout counter I encountered this very friendly face her name was Beth I couldn't help but think she looks like she meets the age of the vulnerable group. (Observation). I did also see that there was taped areas per the 6 feet order were you should stand when you're being assisted and also a plexi glass shield between myself and the payee and the employee which made me feel more comfortable about seeing Beth at work. She made the transaction very easy she was very friendly and the reggae music helped calm my nerves -playing throughout the store as I shopped thank you Lowe's! read more
