In the bottom of the chimney cake, they put two marshmallows to keep the ice cream as it melts from breaking down the paper cone that it sits in which add a nice little sweet addition to the overall dessert. This dessert was so good and I wholeheartedly appreciate that the ice cream is dairy free. I tasted Oreo cookie in every bite and the warm chimney cake was the cherry on top for me. From around 20 flavors, we chose cookies & cream, with plenty of small cookie pieces, and one of their chocolatey ones. They also serve shakes, banana splits, sodas, ice cream floats, and water. We walked across the street to eat at one of many benches in Broadway Square. They have a fun bright décor, with cute cones on the wall behind the display, and a conga-type drum in a wildly colorful corner inside the Broadway entrance! The music playing was great, not overtly loud but soft. I visited on a Hump Day morning around 9am and there was no line. I went up to order and asked the cashier what's popular. He said they are known for lattes and rattled off a few. I opted to get the Toasted Marshmallow hot latte with whole milk. I would said it was ok, I couldn't taste the toasted marshmallow flavor at all. I also ordered the bacon/Swiss swirl which was yummy once I warmed it in the microwave at home. 3 stars for me because of the latte but I'm willing to revisit to try other flavors.
