Storefront on South High Street, Little Italy.

Diane and Vlad are such awesome hosts. We arrived early and they welcomed us right in! We were the first customers in and their attentiveness was so genuine. I missed out on the recent event and a dear YELP friend filled me in on the deets! For sure peep at the menu because offerings here are abundant. The space is bright, and pristine. Love a clean space, the boards are digital but print outs are available and scan codes for ease of access directly on your mobile! I didn't waste any time and went for the masterpiece that is the original waffle Dubai Chocolate. So much about this on social media and variations of all sorts, Crave's take on it is brave and outstanding! Decadence of that pistachio ice cream with kataifi, pistachios, and chocolate all folded in a fresh made to order bubble waffle greatness... don't stop won't stop. Sigh, I'm still drooling my A1C hasn't returned to normalcy yet. lol yummms. Plan your visit because parking in Little Italy can be an adventure itself! Go see Diane and Vlad at CRAVE! Note: bottled water sold separately :-)

The space has modern clean aesthetic with chairs that proved to be pleasantly comfortable. The staff is helpful and friendly. Crave can get crowded pretty quickly but we were lucky enough to walk in at a lull in the line where there were only two folks ahead of us. Immediately after we placed our order the line exploded again. By the time we got our food the line was out to the door again. Definitely a popular spot and worth the wait. The kids enjoyed their S'more crepes but I didn't try it. I was too busy devouring the Candied Fruit waffle (I think it was the first on the menu). That was absolutely delicious! Hot waffle with strawberries, bananas, whipped cream and white chocolate flakes on top of strawberry ice-cream. Halfway into it, my girl stole mine and gave me hers. That was a build your own option on a chocolate chip waffle with chocolate chips, cheese cake bites, blueberries, strawberries, on top of caramel crunch ice-cream. Also very delicious but notably sweeter after the Candied Fruit. I ate till I was nearly bursting. Word of advice, if you have dinner before coming here walk around for a bit or you will be overly stuffed because it's good enough that you want to keep eating even if you don't actually have space, LOL!

I was across the street picking up my food and had a sweet tooth so I finally decided to try Crave. I got my order to go only because I wanted to eat my dinner before having dessert. I know having it to go is nothing compared to how good it may taste having it right away. The interior is very cute and cozy. It gave me coffee shop vibes. I ordered the blueberry cheesecake waffle. In theory, all the ingredients sounds amazing but I didn't care for the cream cheese filling with the ice cream because it gave off a strange aftertaste. I definitely plan to come back and will try another waffle and have it fresh.

Drove all the way from Pennsylvania to get this! Nah, jokes aside I did have this in mind when I was still back home, saw them on good old TikTok and knew that I would be stopping when I came to Baltimore. This cup was loaded with strawberries, which was expected since it isn't cheap, and just enough chocolate and pistachio that I wasn't overwhelmed with sweetness which is big for me. Strawberries were fresh, the actual pistachio crumbles were a great touch along with the pistachio cream, & the crunchiness of the roasted kataifi made it fun to eat! I'm still torn on the chocolate, not sure if I was a major fan and couldn't tell if it was just syrup or actually melted, but regardless it all worked out and blended well. I walked 30 minutes total from where I was previously just to order it, so that wasn't my greatest decision, but at least I got some exercise before I inhaled this! The 2 girls working were very polite and in a good mood, even got a compliment on my outfit! It took probably two minutes for them to throw it together and send me on my way! They're located in a veryyyy tiny shop and I did see that they were relocating soon so keep your eyes peeled for that!

I'm a huge fan of bubble waffles and I'm glad they're becoming more popular. These definitely satisfy and are made hot and fresh (which melts the ice cream a bit faster, but I didn't have any issues with it dripping all over due to the cardboard cone). Great options for flavors and combos, and as a chocolate lover I got the the all chocolate one. Clean, roomy, well-lit space with efficient staff that know the menu and are happy to walk you through it. I visited on a weeknight past 8pm and was the only visitor for a bit, so I got served within a few minutes. Definitely a dessert place worth trying out and returning to!

I visited Waffle-Licious to of course try the viral Dubai chocolate strawberry cup. Now I have personally made a Dubai chocolate bar before myself at home and loved the taste so my judgement can be a little unbiased. I think Waffle-Licious version is good but can be better, I believe the Kataifi could be a lot crispier than it is presented in this cup. I was a little disappointed it got soggy quick in my cup but that could be due to the chocolate. Then the chocolate I feel like could have been a lot richer. The chocolate tasted more like chocolate syrup instead of melted chocolate. The strawberries were perfect and super sweet. I would love to see some improvements if this cup continues on because I would love to come back.

Disclaimer: I only came here looking for the Dubai chocolate strawberry cups. This survey does not reflect their regular menu items. The staff was great, greeted me upon entering and was happy to help. The store is very clean and well maintained The strawberry cup was highly underwhelming: 1. They do no use pistachio butter, tahini, and katafe combo. It was a light pistachio based sauce which was lacking in the richness. 2. The katafe was not toasted and hence not crunchy. 3. Chocolate sauce was also light and not rich unlike others I have tried.

What a wonderful treat! I got a bubble waffle with half strawberry and pistachio ice cream, strawberries, bananas, and sweeten condensed milk. It was put together so beautifully. The fruit was fresh, the ice cream and waffle simply perfect. The employees there are so sweet and helpful. They let me know that the ice cream is locally sourced from Takari Brothers of Baltimore. The place is clean and new, with plenty of chairs and tables. I am already craving another waffle and so I'll be back.

Popped in after dinner in little Italy and had the most delicious nightcap! When you walk in you are hit with smell of fresh waffles immediately which was super nostalgic. I got the specialty waffle with white chocolate, banana, strawberry and coconut flakes. When I tell you it was mm mmm GOOD!!!! The staff were super kind and they have a really cute photo op as you walk in. It was a nice night so eating outside was perfect. I'll definitely be back!

I learned about this dessert spot on TikTok and I was very intrigued by the waffles so I visit on a Monday afternoon. It was empty when I arrived but I was greeted by the employee and given some time to figure out what I wanted. The interior was really sleek modern and cozy. I was eager to make my own waffle, and was taken aback by how big it was when I received it. Took about 8 minutes or so to make. You're def getting your monies worth though. Next time I'd probably even share with someone but I thought my treat was super delicious. If only ice cream didn't melt. Wasn't able to finish it all but I do plan to return.

Short answer: absolutely worth it!Long answer: I'm already thinking about my next excuse to come back. Walking in, the space immediately delivers. The aesthetic is awesome-- the kind of intentional, beautifully designed interior that feels warm and curated rather than staged. It's trendy without being cold, and the Inner Harbor location makes it that much more special. I know there is a huge renovation planned "down the harbor" , this Matriarch is ALREADY READY! You get all the energy of the waterfront with a cozy, tucked-in feel once you're inside. Now, the coffee. I got a latte that was genuinely one of the better cups I've had in a long time -- smooth, rich, perfectly pulled. I also had a Chai and paired it with a cherry & cheese danish that was fresh and delicious, the ideal complement to the drink. I asked for it heated and it was hot all the way through. Hate it when I get it and it is cold in the middle...the barista understood the assignment and got us right! Everything felt thoughtful, like someone in that kitchen actually cares about what they're putting out -- because they do. Speaking of which -- I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, and it all made sense. Warm, passionate, and clearly proud of what they've built. Shirts, cups, napkins, and merch that says "I love my Matriarch" is a reminder of the "Why" behind this spot I think. That kind of energy flows through the entire space and staff. You feel it the moment you walk in. The Matriarch isn't just a coffee shop. It's a destination. If you're in Baltimore, this is a must. If you're outside the city -- make the drive. Trust me. See you soon, Matriarch!

It's a large space, with walls covered with art. There's around 52 seats at tables of mostly 4 and 2, with one for around 12. There was a 2-seat-table set up outside, and a bunch more available down the side of the restaurant that could be set up. We chose a table for the two of us, and server immediately offered us hot coffee in big steaming mugs. The menu, available online and by QR code, is huge! We ordered Veggie Scramble: 3-eggs lusciously full of mushrooms onions green peppers and tomatoes. They let us choose feta cheese! And the hash browns were epic! A mountain of creamy shredded potatoes, well-done to a crispy crunchy surface! And we got their Huevos Rancheros: open-faced 2-egg tacos, flavorful medium-spicy Mexican chorizo sausage and salsa verde under melted cheddar-cheese, over warm soft corn tortillas, with a side of those amazing hashbrown shredded potatoes. We got the eggs scrambled. Both breakfast servings were ample and delicious. Service was friendly, fast, and efficient. A few flaws: They have no espresso! Waah! The strong black coffee tasted a little bit bitter, maybe brewing for too long, but it was fine with milk and sugar. We each had two cups, which tells you the bottom-line :-). And, we made a point of choosing a two-person table, while one person waiting for a date was asked rather sternly by the manager to leave their only 12-person-table for a larger group. Makes sense, but it might have come-across a little too harshly. While I'm fussing, i didnt see any food photos on the QR menu. Sigh. We loved our generous breakfast and the whole friendly artsy atmosphere. Everyone, even the switched-table, seemed comfortable, with friendly chatter filling the high-ceilinged hall.
