My son was grumpy about another stop (previously hit up the gluten-free bakery), so I left him in the car, and ran in to grab a coffee to go. I'm already CRAVing another. One sip of cappuccino and my tongue was delighted with a smooth, milky, creamy coffee wetness. My only regret; I should have purchased the large. Next time I'd like to stay and enjoy the ambiance while drinking from one of their turquoise mugs. The decor felt earthy, eclectic, and urban all in one. On my way out, a cute father with four small children entered. The employee behind the counter paid special attention to each child asking them questions and showing interest in their little people's world. Had one of the best lattes I've had in a while - a special on their side board: Honey Cinnamon Spice. I always put cinnamon in my coffees anyway, so this was a perfect choice. Not too foamy, nor too creamy, nor too spiced, nor too sweet. The honey did seem to be the primary flavor, then the cinnamon, then milk, then coffee, & back to cinnamon. The space is well-lit, not overly crowded, with a variety of seating options that cater to a solo diner or a small group having a meeting or studying, or even a pair engaged in conversation. Air conditioning was comfortable: not full blast icy, nor stuffy inside. Staff was a little occupied when we first approached the counter, but service was overall speedy & very kind. This what my first time at Crave Coffee bar! I could not find any parking in that plaza where this cafe is located. After searching for 10 mins I finally found an open parking spot. I couldn't leave because I was meeting someone for a business meeting. I walked in and I was confused because there's two entry ways. I wasn't helped in a timely manner. No one was up front to take orders so I had to wait there for 10 mins. I ordered a chai latte and it was decent. Their lattes are great, but I'm taking off two stars --- one because of the very long wait --- it took about 35 minutes just to place the order, and was then told it would take about 30 minutes to make the breakfast sandwich I would have liked (although I was hungry, I passed at this point). I took off another star because mask wearing was basically non-existent. I understand you cannot control your customers behaviors, but it can be influenced, especially when setting an example or may even post a sign or two. Which was good the atmosphere was a little cold and very opened looking industrial place so I'm still a Starbucks person because the feeling is you can have a friendly conversation with a person just setting reading a newspaper or has a cute dog or dog's which I love setting outside with the cool spray on whereas Crave everyone had their faces looking down at their laptops or iPhones meaning what ever happened to talking to someone right their and have a real conversation, guess that's why I have a few favourites of Starbucks. Crave Coffee is my favorite coffee bar in town. The owners are incredible, and are so kind every time I go in. Their staff is also great and professional. Their coffee is also one of the best in Tucson. They have some unique coffee beverage experiences such as Syphon brewing and Turkish were both terrific and unique. I also am obsessed with their breakfast sandwich and they have great pastries/treats. Their vibe is probably my favorite of any coffee shop, but I do have a bias towards bicycles and there are a bunch of beautiful bike/coffee related imagery inside. Wanted to explore a new coffee spot to get some work done, and saw the amazing review Crave had so decided to park down for a couple of hours. It's located in a classic Tucson shopping strip not far fro. Park place. Parking is there, but it can get pretty filled up during peak lunch hours. The decor inside is airy, industrial, and warm. I was really impressed at how much seating and how many big tables they had for working. Outlets are speckled throughout the walls and i has no problem finding a table near to one to use. As always, I ordered a chai. The staff was extremely friendly, and it was a treat to interact with them! My drink came out pretty quickly. It didn't particularly taste like much, but it definitely wasn't bad. I think next time I'll try a pastry, and an iced tea instead. But regardless, I'll be back!! One of my go to places to study in Tucson. It is super spacious with several different seatimg arrangements and lots of nooks and crannies to hide in. The seats can be a little hard if you sit a long time :P Besides the ambience, the drinks and food are great and the service is always super friendly and welcoming. They serve sandwiches, pastries, and fresh made crepes! I really liked the goat cheese spinach crepe, although wish the filling was warm. Visited for the first time and I'd say it was a pretty great first experience! [Coffee Taste] I got an iced caramel macchiato and my boyfriend got a vanilla bean frappe. The macchiato was slightly thicker/creamier in consistency as opposed to other places I've had where it's more thin and watery, and it tasted good, not too strong of a coffee taste but also not overwhelmingly sweet which was nice. The frappe of course is better if you have more of a sweet tooth. [Store Experience] The store wasn't too busy when we visited in the afternoon so we didn't wait long for our drinks. The AC was a good break from the heat & the atmosphere is pretty calm. There's a variety of seating options with a few cozy corners. Got a little bit noisy at some point from a small group of people socializing but only for a few minutes so not too bad. Seems like the perfect spot to chat with friends or bring a laptop & study. [Overall] We both had a pretty good time relaxing there, and will definitely visit again soon to try something new! :) read more

I am a big fan of Crave Coffee Bar, especially after their remodel. I frequent this establishment for their coffee, friendly service, and delicious food options. There is a lot of seating offered, especially if you're lucky enough to get the spots with the large tables in the back by the TV. It's a great place to study at or to meet up with friends and family to chat over some good coffee. Be sure to look online for what their hours are because they close early than their other weekdays on Mondays. They also have a drive-thru, so if you're crunched on time or don't feel like stopping in, that's an option for you, too. If you're spending a long time there, they also have board games in the back you can borrow to play with your friends and several spots have a good amount of outlets. If you're prone to getting chilly, I highly recommend bringing a light jacket or sweater. They keep the place a little colder than other coffee shops I've been to. As for their coffee and food, you can't go wrong with anything off their menu. They have the classic coffee menu, with some nice added iced and blended drink combinations. They offer non-fat, soy, sugar-free, etc. If you're in the mood for some food, they sell homemade desserts and pastries. They also recently started making crepes, both savory and sweet. i usually don't leave reviews, just because it was never necessary, but it was my first time coming to this coffee shop and i was pretty excited but walking in the baristas seemed instantly annoyed to see someone walk in (it was pretty steady in the shop, but no line) so i can understand, but they seemed annoyed with me asking questions about the drink so i just got a simple vanilla chai latte and a red velvet cookie to keep it short so the interaction could be over because i felt bad for asking anything else. when they gave me the drinks and food they slammed it down and didn't hand it to me like i had seen them hand it out to others so i felt pretty bad and i had even gave them a tip because i thought they were just stressed/overwhelmed but obviously it was something else. the shop was very nicely decorated and i definitely would've stayed but i just got anxious with the bad energy. besides that the chai was pretty good besides them forgetting the cold foam that i asked for with a drink that was already eight dollars. :(unfortunately i definitely don't see myself coming back again. read more

The coffee is delicious, and unlike most places, if you drink it there, it is in a real mug not a paper one. Those little things make a big difference, as does the modern yet homey atmosphere. The staff here is really friendly and will always help you find the right coffee if you're undecided. I am a caramel with my coffee type of gal, and no matter what variation I order, it always seems to hit the spot. I suggest grabbing a warmed up croissant on the side as well. In love with this cute little coffee shop! I have been coming here ever since I moved to Tucson. It has a hipster vibe to it with very pleasant staff. I always get the green tea latte, Crave made it popular before starbucks adopted it and it is definitely much better here. Always wanted to try other drinks, but never get around to it, because I just love the green tea latte here. I usually get it in Almond milk (trying to save some calories) and it still tastes just as good. I live very far from this place (about 40 minutes drive), or else I would be here everyday. Crave is a cool hipster coffee shop that looks like it is literally in the middle of nowhere. No, but really. My boyfriend was shocked when we entered that there were actually lots of people inside "because it feels like we are out in the boonies." LOL. We wanted to do the drive-through, but unfortunately, it was really unclear if you order at the menu board (we couldn't find a mic..) or drive straight to the window to order. It was confusing, so we just parked and went inside. The decor is really cute. If I went to college near here, I'd love to just hang out here - everything seems really clean and tidy. And decorated. The place wasn't loud, but it wasn't silent. A comfortable volume for getting work done. I ordered a skinny chocolate biscotti frap, and let me tell you, I destroyed it in seconds. It was actually REALLY good. I was drawn here originally because their menu offered a lot of "skinny" and low-calorie options, which was really nice! I'd love to go to places like Dutch Brothers more often, but since their beverages are more like full-on desserts as opposed to COFFEE, I never do. But Crave seems like a great answer to that problem. They have fun drinks that can still be made "skinny" (I haaaate that term). They also have some pastries on display, but I didn't get the chance to try any.
