While visiting Reno, my husband and I decided to try Crave Cookies after my sister-in-law highly recommended it. She absolutely loves this place and even claims it's better than Insomnia Cookies so of course, we had to see for ourselves. When we walked in, we were immediately greeted, and the customer service was honestly 10/10. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and patient while we decided which flavors to try. We picked out a variety of cookies, and I will say they are big, thick, and fluffy. Visually, they're impressive, and texture-wise they're soft and indulgent. Flavor-wise, they were good... but for me personally, they were just a little too sweet. Almost overwhelmingly sweet. If you love ultra-sugary, decadent desserts, this will probably be your dream spot. They're definitely high-quality cookies just not quite my personal favorite because of the sugar level. I'd love to see slightly more balance in sweetness so the other flavors can shine. Would I come back? Yes. Would I pace myself next time? Also yes. Stopped here after having a nice dinner and wanted to see what they were about. We got a six pack of cookies and took them back to our hotel room. We sampled each one and our favorite by far was the Hostess Cupcake one. Just like the real one with a creamy filling included. We didn't really care for the Biscoff S'mores Crookie, but overall we enjoyed them. The cookies are similar to what you would get from Crumbl, but Crave's didn't seem too rich like Crumbl does. I'm not here often, but they are a great addition to the Midtown District. Tucked in the backside of the Stix complex on South Virginia and Thoma Streets, this small cookie shop probably gets overlooked quite a bit. I had walked downtown to meet a friend for cocktails and planned on a Lyft home, but the February night was still beautiful, so I walked home. Craving something sweet, rich and chocolaty, I made the small detour to the other side of Stix for a cookie. They usually offer around twelve different flavor options, but my go to is the devine chocolate lava cookie. They usually offer large soft chocolate cookie filled with a thick darker chocolate filling served warm is just what I required on my walk home. The younger staff is always polite and friendly. Last time I picked up a four pack of cookies, and honestly thought that crumbl was better. But, tonight I just got a single cookie. It was served warm and the flavor was cookie butter caramel. It was to die for!!! super gooey in the middle, but not undercooked and the edges were nice and crispy. This definitely satiated my cookie craving. read more

Cookie heaven! These were by far the best cookies I have ever eaten in town! They are big, bold and delicious! I ordered a 4 pack for $15.95 and a few of their loaded sodas. The cookies individually are $4.95. We got the strawberry pop tart, better than xxx, black forest and chocolate chip. Black forest and the better than xxx were my favorite. They were topped with whipped topping that elevated the cookie to the next level. They also have a huge variety of loaded sodas that are addicting! Must try! Rude employee snatched the pay thing out of my hand and then was rude the rest of the interactionn i know when im not welcome and if this is how im treated i sure wont spend my money here. Especially since after my white guy friend was treated way better You want cookies go to insomnia or crave this place has gone down hill. Stopped by Crave Cookies tonight for dessert after dinner nearby. We picked up the crave Pack (four pack) of cookies for $15.99. Crave seems like a Crumble Cookie vibe with a soda shop add on and a slightly different menu. The two girls working were super nice and knowledgeable about the cookies. They explained the flavors, which change every week on Fridays. They were really nice to our kids and the one girl sweetly complemented my toddlers sweatshirt and made his evening. There is no where to sit here, it's really a grab and go spot. So they packaged up our four pack and sent us on our way but not without explaining that three of the four cookies are served warm and the box has reheating instructions for when you have leftovers. We ordered the holiday cookie, the classic chocolate chip, the red velvet Oreo, and the caramel choco-pretzel. All of the cookies are huge. If you've been to a Crumble before, they are about that size. The caramel choco-pretzel was great with rich caramel and pretzels crumbled on top. The chocolate chip was huge and warm and gooey but a bit doughy. The holiday cookie was great and my wife LOVED the frosting. The red velvet Oreo was also awesome with a sweet icing on top. Overall, I think Crave is a good cookie option for some fresh baked grab and go cookies. My wife wants to go back to try the sodas as they all looked scrumptious. Crave is so so so much better than crumble!! We love this place.. we've gone a few times and haven't been let down.. the cookies are a good size , has that homemade taste and they have fun choices..unlike crumble..it taste like all sugar , not so fresh and kinda generic. They also have Flavored soda/drinks .. really cool menu..you don't see mix soda drinks like this everywhere.. One of my favorites there is the tiny chocolate chip cookies. My experience with high end cookie shops has for the most part been disappointing. The amount most places wanna charge for a cookie is a bit absurd. I feel like Crave just changed my mind. The cookies arrived in a really nice box. And when we opened it they were still warm! Wow! Nice work Crave. Nothing like a fresh warm cookie. The cookies were rich and delicious and the recipes were fun. I would say price is a bit high still for a cookie but they were good. And i dare say worth it. This was my first time at crave cookies and I was terribly disappointed. My friend and I shared a four pack with each of us getting two cookies. Both of us agreed the cookie was raw and the grease that came off of our hands... EWE! We both got the strawberry pop tart and there was very little strawberry taste. It tasted mostly like raw cookie dough. I came home and preheated the toaster oven to 350° and cooked it for 10 minutes. It was still kind of raw, so another five minutes. This place is super cute inside. There is no seating inside. It's more of a pickup and go treat. They are located in the heart of midtown. With their on parking area on-site. I like that they are open late. The employees were very nice. Both in school super inpiring connection. The cookie flavors change weekly. They are really big and they have small cookie options too. Anyways, I read some previous reviews and some said it was better than Crumbl so I came with some expectations and was disappointed. To be clear I only love cookies that are super soft & moist and like Oreo cookies lol I got the Nutella cinnaroll, Irish cream cheesecake cookie, carrot cake cookie, and the grasshopper cookies. Best to least favorite was grasshopper, Irish cream, carrot cake, & Nutella cinnamon. Nothing really stood out to me as amazing. I love coming here for a loaded soda. the berries and cream is fantastic and fairly priced. I love to get tasty pot next door and get a loaded soda next door after. I tried their smores cookie and an oreo chocolate type cookie the first time I went and they were really good at first when they were fresh and hot. But then when I got home after they cooled down they had this horrible bitter taste. not sure what was wrong or made it taste that way after 15 minutes but they were inedible after that. It was a shame because the initial taste was great but after trying to share with my friends at home we all agreed they had this horrible sour flavor. I think the problem might be too much baking soda but not 100% sure. the cookies are $4.49 each too so they're not cheap whatsoever. they do have good rotating and seasonal flavor options that always look appealing but i'm genuinely to try them again after that first experience. they also got pretty hard in that time. there's no seating room inside but service is nice and fast, i'd give them a 5 star for soda and service but 2 star if i was rating the cookies. I decided to give a 3 because it is supposed to be a cookie place. and if you're charging so much for a cookie it should be high quality and not get hard fast nor have this horrible bitter taste. read more

I've been here twice and love the rotation of flavors. The staff behind the counter are very friendly and welcoming. This past time I ordered the waffle cookie which even came with a packet of syrup and it was nice and warm which was the best. Cookies are about $5.00 but that is the going rate these days. We had dinner nearby last night and saw Crave as we were about to head home. We realized this is a new cookie place and immediately put the car in reverse to go check it out! We were glad to see they were still open at 9pm on a Monday night. The inside is bright, spacious, and well-decorated. No indoor or outdoor seating, you just take it to go. They appeared to be very well-staffed for how late it was. They have their available cookies out on display so you can see exactly what you'll get. I asked what the best seller is and they said currently it is the Cookies N' Scream Kitkat! It looked delicious and like it had a little bit of everything, so we went with that one. 1 cookie is $4.50 and is big enough to split. They are pretty comparable in size and cost to Crumbl. These flavors change every Friday! They also have "Crave Sodas" which are premade combos of soda + cream + flavoring. I think you can also create your own mix. If you've ever been to a Swig soda shop in Utah, that's basically what this is. It's a fun thing to offer here in addition to the cookies. We were about to check out and the guy said "it's your lucky day! Today is National Chocolate Day, so you each get a free brownie cookie too." Score! It was much smaller than their regular massive cookies but we still appreciated the gesture of course. We ate the brownie cookies first and they were delicious. Served warm with melting chocolate chips on the inside. So good! We saved the bigger cookie for when we got home. My husband was trying to figure out how long we should heat it up in the microwave later, only to then realize they have reheating instructions printed out on the box! So clever, they knew the people would need to know. There are microwave and baking instructions listed. This cookie was amazing! The perfect combo of a chocolate chip cookie + kit kat + oreo. The consistency felt more like a cookie than the ones from Crumbl, those always seem more dense and cake-like to me. The Crave cookies have more of that crumbly consistency that you would expect from a cookie. We split it in half and that was plenty for each of us. We were big fans of Crave and will definitely be back! They have a prime spot in Midtown, it's right next door to Sugar Blvd (more for ice cream) but I think the only other cookie competitor is Insomnia Cookies which is up closer to the UNR campus. A lot of people walk this area of Midtown, so I hope they have a lot of success in this location once more people know they're here! read more

I love crave cookies normally. But this time they gave me the wrong cookies! I ordered two Oreo cheesecake cookies but received two normal chocolate chip cookies instead. I thought maybe the Oreo/cheesecake was in the inside which is why that one is cut in half. By the time I saw it, it was already 8:50pm and they close at 9, so I can't even just go back to get my correct cookies. My grandson and I just had an epic time at Incline Burgers. As we were pulling out my grandson said a cookie place. I asked I'm "would you like a cookie"? He was so excited. So I pulled over and told him they might be closing so but a man was just leaning against the wall and cookies were out on display. So I gave him 2 $20 and told him he might be excited to get rid of some cookies left from the day. So buy whatever you want. He went inside (door unlocked) and rudely told him "WERE CLOSED " so he came back out super sad being treated so disrespectful. He told me, why didn't he lock the door if he was closed instead of yelling at me :(. He could have said sorry but we are closed nicely. For that reason they will NEVER get me to step in that place. He was an elderly man that looked like he liked to eat the cookies. Maybe he was afraid with so much money in his hands would take away from his nightly stash.
