I love beloveds baked goods! Everything is so pretty and delicious and flaky and buttery. I am pretty sure Beloved is the best bakery in town. This has resulted in an incredibly long wait and line, the food we ordered at the counter took 20-25 minutes if not more! And we came way past the breakfast rush around 1:30. The caprese sandwich was hefty and filling, the pesto was luscious and spread all over, thick layer throughout, and the heirloom tomatoes were the most beautiful color and so juicy. The mozzarella was fresh and the bread was crisp but supple and springy, just perfect! I also liked the peach tartine, the scrumptious orange mascarpone type sauce was decadent and so sweet, and the bread was almost french toast like so sweet and fluffy. The burger was the only miss, not enough sauce and quite bland and flat. Would not order again. Overall, always an amazing experience just wish the wait was shorter!

Would come again? YES Food: Bakery items are very solid and made with detail. Service: There can be a line but goes fast. staff is helpful in answering questions. Ambiance: Very lively and aesthetically appealing. Not a place to pull out a laptop, but perfect for conversing.

Amazing fresh bread, pastries, breakfast, and lunch. Ingredients were all fresh. You can tell the employees are all happy. The only thing that bothered me a tad bit was they asked for a tip when you pay in the app and you order at a counter and you're supposed to bust your own table so what are you tipping for? Other than that, I will be back.

We got a Shakshuka to go which comes with toasted sourdough. I love the bread here and we also got a loaf of their sourdough-so good! The Shakshuka is a Mediterranean dish with eggs poached in a tomato based sauce and toast to dip in the sauce. The Shakshuka was good but the eggs were overcooked and yolks were solid. I probably wouldn't order this again because I've had it prepared better at other restaurants but I still love their bread.

My family and I visit Reno often and are always looking for new brunch spots. We finally tried Beloved's at the Reno Public Market and loved it! The breakfast bialy was phenomenal, and the bear claw and fruit basket were delicious. My kids enjoyed the pepperoni pizza, and my iced latte was perfectly balanced, not too sweet. Great prices, delicious food, and friendly service. We'll definitely be back!

Pastries are great (eg, fig with rosemary cream), but if it's hot outside then waiting in line becomes intolerable because of their 6 person in-line limit, which they enforce. After ordering, there's no place to sit inside during the busy lunch hours unless you choose to sit outside in the unbearable heat. It's also hard to hear inside to get your drink orders and no way to order more food or drinks after you've ordered. You'll just have to get in line again.. hopefully they can start giving numbers for orders with a QR code to order more once seated.

beloved before rock climbing. Sandra, for the idea, absolutely amazing matcha blueberry supreme. Sarah, for making these awesome pastries, you all are the best! After one bite, I felt like I was floating in heaven. The astonishing taste of the matcha and blueberry was like hollow purple from jujitsu kaisen.

I have been buying Beloved's stuff for years now at the Carson City Farmers Market. I was glad to have the time to stop into the new brick-and-mortar location at RPM in Reno. The bakery space is large here, but unfortunately, there is very limited seating inside. There is some seating outside; however, almost every time I have come by this place, it looks packed. Something to keep in mind. They offer a small food menu and, of course, have their delicious breads and pastries available for purchase. I ended up picking a bear claw and a pecan pan suisse. I was super impressed by the bear claw- probably the best I have ever had, and bear claws were one of my favorite pastries growing up. I ate a lot of them! The filling to flaky, crispy pastry ratio was amazing! The pecan pan suisse was good, but didn't knock my socks off as I expected. I have been following this guy's journey since he was just dishing out a few sourdough loaves a week at the farmers market, so it's cool to see a local business owner truly thriving. Beloved's Bakery and Cafe is a great addition to the bakery scene in Reno, and I will certainly return.

Visiting family and came here after a morning walk. Extremely clean nice inside and outside seating. Pastry selection was good would Have liked option for Bran type muffins. Bread selection was awesome. Drinks as well but no decaf. Parking was ample and everyone was extremely friendly. I purchased a croissant for a friend and they throughly enjoyed it.

Beloved's Bakery & Cafe is one of those spots that keeps you coming back because there's always something new. First it was the pineapple bun... now this chocolate mousse cherry petit gâteau; rich, smooth chocolate with that cherry layer inside, perfect balance and not overly sweet. And it's not just desserts... their pizza, sandwiches, and almond croissants are all solid. The sourdough bread is everything crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside All their breakfast options are good too, this shakshuka with that bread on the side? perfect combo. Yes, it gets busy (lines out the door), but I don't mind waiting for quality like this. Ambiance is mellow and relaxing but busy at the same time.. it's probably their amazing coffee that makes it feel this way. I love it here! The staff is amazing and super helpful, which makes the experience even better. Definitely worth it.

Burnt English muffin on eggs Benedict.

We gave this place a go by trying the pastries, bread, and egg dishes. However, we were SO disappointed. Very dark bake on all pastries... the orange cardamom muffin had no flavor, and the "bear claw" had an apple filling...WTF? We had breakfast entrees that were served with cold potatoes and overcooked eggs (on a Benedict that's sacrilegious!). Oh yeah, the Benedict had burnt English muffins (see photos). Busing our own table added to the insult. Indoor eating was too noisy and crowded (tables too close together). Took a sourdough loaf home...tasted like it had rye in it...sourdough flavor lacking...not very good. We won't be returning.

I guess I just found my new favorite breakfast place in town! The breakfast food is amazing, definitely love the chicken fried steak. And there is a great variety of pastries, which looks so delicious! The service is great, and the staff is very helpful. The place is not very big, and it gets packed pretty fast during the weekend.

I wish, I wish that carbs didn't kill me because I really love this place. We have been here about a half a dozen times. Normally I review right off the bat, but I have changed my style more recently to review places after a handful of visits, and be a little more critical. But I have to say that I really love the food that I have had at Beloved's. I have gotten the shakshuka many times and it's fantastic. The bread quality is unbeatable. The coffee is good. Better than most bakeries and cafes but not a true craft coffee. That being said, their dandelion latte is exceptional. They are a quick serve type of place. You get your own utensils, and napkins at a stand. Your own water glasses and bus your own table. The only service you get is the food dropped to your numbered table. Like most bakeries that I have been to. All of their pastries are top quality as well. I haven't had a bad or poorly make item from them ever. We will keep coming back! Especially with the new shades they installed. So much more space outside.

Until this 4th of July weekend (250/2026) we had never heard of Archie's. It was recommended to us and we stopped in on Sunday the 5th for lunch on our way out of town. What an amazing choice. I ordered their bacon cheese burger. Guess what? It was GIANT. It was delicious. It was perfect. Comes with fries but I got onion rings. The onion rings were perfect too. Largest order of rings I have ever seen. The burger (1/2 Lb I think!!) had nice thick bacon in every bite, two large and fresh slices of tomato, a big old slab of an onion slice, mayo and lettuce. I can't remember if there were pickles. It was the best burger and onion rings I have eaten in at least ten years, maybe 20. We will be back, EVERY time we are in town from now on. I can't recommend this place enough. Special shout out to David, our server. This guy made no mistakes. Laughed at all my stupid dad jokes, was attentive, patient while my companions changed their minds 36 times, and was friendly too. Says it was only his 2nd day on the job, but I wish he had been working for us at our restaurant (Hokkaido Noodle House) in Sacramento. He is a pro already, give him reasons to keep working for you boss. Don't worry, we won't steal him from you, we are retired and closed our joint 10 years ago. Rock on Archie's! You have earned a few new fans today.

Was surprised it had a second floor with a small deck and pretty decent views! Big place. Great Happy Hour Deals (half off drinks) and other specials. I haven't eaten breakfast there but the burger I'd put in the top 4 in Reno. It is giant diameter wise but the meat is the same amount of a smaller thicker burger which makes it no too hard to eat. I'd call this a Purist's Burger. Crisp lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, mustard, sauce. They went really light on the sauce to the point I didn't think it had any. Fries were excellent too. Price is very reasonable (that's typical near a college.) I've tried Royce, Juicy's, and The Parlor. I'd put Archies below Royce and Parlor but above Juicy's. Two left on my list are Armando & Son's Butcher Shop and of course Beefy's.

I was really excited to come here especially seeing other people with celiac leaving a review. I am very well versed in cross contact. I live me entire life managing cross contact and working through picking a meal I can eat. Some people just want to focus on the existence of cross contact. That was our server. She barely let me speak, she interrupted, wasn't answering my actual question about what kind of toaster they used and what grill the bread is heated on, etc because she wanted to repeat the existence of cross contact. Good lord. I was one second away from walking out. She was a really piece of work. She then upped the "nice" factor to call me sweetie the rest of the meal which makes me want to crawl out of my skin. Honestly, I am very flexible, I think this place may be better than my first impression but this server needs to be retrained to LISTEN to the customer and answer questions and not just make it an effort to drive people out. This is a few minutes of her time, and I have to live my entire life like this without treatment until I die, so a little kindness and active listening is really a minimal effort for a few minutes every now and then. 3 stars is generous. Food was ok. Restaurant was clean, but the servers need to learn to interact with humans better with more kindness and better listening skills.
