    The bread basket

Friday night called for a special dinner, so I made a reservation for two at 5:30 at Dolce Caffè. We were seated by the front window, which is my favorite spot. I love watching the people and cars go by in Midtown while enjoying a great meal. We started with drinks. I ordered the Limoncello Spritz, and wow--it was absolutely out of this world! My husband ordered the Chardonnay, and owner Claudio explained that it's made in the traditional Italian style. Instead of being buttery like many California Chardonnays, it's slightly sweeter and very smooth. After trying my cocktail, my husband decided to order a Limoncello Spritz too, and he ended up enjoying it even more than the wine. We skipped the appetizers and salads and went straight to the main event. I ordered the mushroom ravioli, which I had been dreaming about all day. It was light, delicate, and packed with incredible flavor. My husband, who is from New Zealand, chose the lamb chops. They were cooked to perfection, so tender you could cut them with a butter knife. He paired them with the asparagus risotto, which was delicious but a little heavy alongside the lamb. We ended up taking some home, and next time I'd recommend pairing the lamb with a salad instead. To finish, we shared the large ricotta cannoli topped with chocolate chips. It was heavenly, light, creamy, and it practically melted in our mouths. Honestly, every dessert we've had here has been fantastic. Dolce Caffè continues to impress with its authentic Italian flavors, warm hospitality, and wonderful atmosphere. We can't wait for our next visit!

    Nice outdoor patio seating.

Lovely little oasis! The hardest part was deciding what to order. Everything looked amazing. One of the owners was there to greet me and took her time educating me about all the choices. Very friendly staff. I love that I could sit out on the little patio with my dogs. Definitely adding this one to my favorites list.

Dolce Café had excellent service, and the food was delicious. I especially enjoyed my salad, along with all the pastries and desserts we ordered. Everything was fresh and flavorful, and I would definitely come back just for the salad. I'm not sure if the gentleman helping us was the owner, but he was incredibly kind and welcoming. He even offered water and a treat for my friend's dog, which was such a thoughtful gesture. His hospitality really made our visit even more enjoyable. Overall, a wonderful experience, and I look forward to coming back!

Dolce Caffe is such a cute spot. The staff was great and super helpful, which made the experience even better. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, so it's a nice place to relax for a bit. There were lots of delicious-looking pastries to choose from. The coffee menu is pretty minimal, but the atmosphere alone makes you want to come back. It's cozy, welcoming, and a great place to stop by for a treat.

Another great experience at this place! Tried new pastries and sandwiches. The service was superb, the owners were welcoming and friendly. They have indoor and outdoor seating available. Love the vibe and the food. Recommend their dirty chai for drinks and all their delicious pastries. Their pinwheel and cookies were so good!

Its a super cute shop. Its small in the inside and a good place to take a small group or have a mini date. They had a lotnofnthings sold out by the time we came, but they had a lot of good options to pick from. The portion tonprice is also nice. I had a cannot, I chose large as the price difference wasn't that much. It was a bit crunchy. That filling was what got me though. With the pistachio. Pure perfection. It was a little messy to eat. Inused my hands to help. So worth it. If anyone has time check them out and head there earlier, so you have more options.

We made reservations for dinner and have to say it's one of the best experiences we've had in a long time. The staff is incredibly attentive, and they helped us pair wine with the specific dinners that we ordered. The food mouth watering! We had bruschetta, wagu ravioli and lemon ravioli and took our dessert home, which was lemon blueberry cheesecake and a cannoli filled ricotta and topped with chocolate chips on one side and pistachios on the other. Era tutto buonissimo!

After seeing a few Instagram posts that Dolce Caffé was now offering dinner on their patio, I knew I had to try it. I almost went home to change because I was still in my workout clothes, but Claudio immediately made me feel welcome. He told me he wants everyone to feel like family, and that genuine hospitality set the tone for the entire evening. It was so hard to choose between the Meyer lemon ravioli and the crab and lobster ravioli with vodka sauce, but I ended up ordering the crab and lobster ravioli--and it was incredible! The hint of lemon zest added the perfect fresh finish to the rich, flavorful sauce. I also ordered the summer bruschetta, which was just as delicious. Claudio even helped me select a wine to pair with my meal, and I was pleasantly surprised by how reasonably priced all of the wines were. The outdoor patio is absolutely charming, with beautiful plants and warm string lights creating the perfect atmosphere for a relaxing dinner. I can't wait to come back and try more of the menu. Highly recommend!

First time here and we will definitely be returning customers!! The owner, Melissa, was so sweet and has a very upbeat energy which is wonderful as an owner. You can tell she really enjoys what she does with her family. Also her mom is such a sweet Italian lady. The place is small but super cute. They have many options for pastries and the food was very delicious. My favorite is the caprese salad. Super yummy. Overall great little caffe and we will definitely be back.

I received an immediate response from Claudio re: my review. I went in the next day and spoke to Melissa about my experience. She listened, explained what may have been the reason for dry lemon blueberry slices, and invited me to try other pastries. Every item I tried was fresh and delicious. So much so, that I ordered dessert for a weekend gathering. I was extremely impressed that Claudio took the time to respond to my review and that Melissa was extremely pleasant and made it clear her goal was to make me a happy and returning customer. I believe Dolce Caffe will start serving dinner at the Mayberry location this week. I wish the team at Dolce much success and look forward to having dinner with them soon.
