Wow! This place is really..... bad. The cashier is also the cook. I went during prime Lunch time on a Sunday. The place was totally empty and yet there still was a wait due to what appeared to be not enough staff. Pretzel reminded me of something you'd find at the bottom of an aquarium after it fell out of the hand of my toddler as they leaned over to peer at the fish. No idea why it would be served wet and mushy. The brat was less than you'd expect from a place like this, being just a little worse than what I'd get from the roller grill at Kwik Star.....but twice the price. Straws are paper which sucks. The staff had an intimidating vibe. Sauce was pretty good. The place desperately needs some music or something to liven it up. Glad I tried it but this is a one and done. I definitely don't Crave a return. read more

Hot dogs were good but tater tots were not cooked and cold. Our food came out fairly quickly but others in the restaurants were very unhappy with the wait time. People were nice but not trained very well. Set up is odd with there not being a clear path to counter to order and menu on the wall causes a line to form in front of the self serve drinks which is awkward. There are a couple places in the area doing hot dogs or bbq much better so it is unlikely I would return. read more

Service wasn't bad, the people are nice. That's where the pleasant part ends. The food is... there is nothing nice or good to say about the food. If you want a hotdog just make it at home or hit Portillos (what I am told). I am new here so I am highly accepting of a lot. Cold food, terrible wait time, and overall experience? I'm going to recommend anywhere else. Slapped a 20 down on the table and walked out. Half a hotdog and water later, lesson learned. read more

A big no! Very high prices for low quality food, definitely will not return or recommend to anyone, meals are almost 20 bucks a person, there should be a tablecloth at that price,There was only 4 other people in the restaurant and our food took almost an hour to get cold food that didn't come out at the same time about 20 minutes to get our last meal. No idea how this place is still open, but I'm sure it will be closed within the next couple weeks. We were excited to try this place, we all love hot dogs. Unfortunately it was the biggest disappointment. The hot dogs were not as big as advertised, barely even long enough to reach the end of the buns. The fries and mozzarella sticks were so hard we could barely chew them. We threw most of it away and ended up going somewhere else to actually be able to eat. They're also kinda of pricey for hot dogs and fries making it all the worse. Now I know why there was nobody there at lunch when we went. I don't write reviews, but I feel compelled to share our nightmare of an experience. Upon entering at ~ 6:30pm there were roughly 25 people seated at 5-6 tables. The place is spacious appeared to be rather dead. I was eager to view the menu and order. We order 3 hotdogs, a cup of beans, and cheese sticks. Once seated with our number I noticed everyone in the place was still waiting on their food. Over the next 45 minutes the orders started trickling out one hotdog per table at a time. To get our full order was over 15 minutes from the first to the last item, and almost an hour from ordering. The only thing warm were the baked beans. I could have made better cheese sticks in the microwave. The hotdogs were cold, and the buns must have sat out for the last week. I would have got more enjoyment eating the $30 in cash I spent on this cold trash. On my 20 minute drive home I could barely make it before the ball of demons expelled my body with hurricane force. My 6 year old could manage this place tenfold better. I feel sorry for the misguided employees. 0 outta 10 not recommended. read more

This is constructive criticism, we had a table of 8 people. 1. Food network has a show Restaurant Impossible the first thing they tell "OWN IT". all the food is from frozen or canned. Nothing homemade or fresh. Baked potato with sides, tater tots with sides (they were out of tater tots) and there are no baked potatoes!!! Cornbread but no butter! A salad that had corn, beans and lettuce (customer was vegan so no meat) but only salad dressing was BBQ!!!!! Not any vegan choices a baked potato/tater tot bar would be awesome. The food came out warm not hot! The ones who ate BBQ chicken and pork were ok with their meal. But it would of been better pipping hot and a little more appetizing such a side of french fries. Buying everything piece meals is ridiculous too pricy! Most places give u chips or fries and you can always upgrade to additional choices. The coleslaw was not homemade or was the red potato salad which was missing the red potatoes. 2. The restaurant was very clean and bathrooms were also very clean. We had 8 people, I think while we were there 4 other customers came and picked up. 3. The ordering and pickup is ok, but when you go to pickup the orders we have 4 different numbers which was.good. except at the pickup your order is not numbered so there should be the same size ticket on ur tray, so you don't have to wait for a cook to tell which is yours or take one that.isn't the item you ordered. I do believe you could have a great restaurant if you made many of your own items. I only choose a plain h Beef hotdog and a 2.5 oz chili, where I took one taste and pushed away. I don't know what happened to my original review, so posting it again. I went to Crave a few days after it opened. There were literally four people in the restaurant. When I walked in I noticed kids going in and out of the kitchen and carrying food to customers table. I also noticed notice staff in the kitchen not wearing hair nets. We ordered bbq sandwiches, mac n cheese and coleslaw. The food took forever. While we were waiting for our food, the table next to us received their food. They informed the staff that their food was cold. The waitress took it back to the kitchen and told them that they didn't microwave it long enough. We finally received our food, and it was cold as well and we didn't receive our Mac n cheese. I informed the waitress and she said they can reheat it. I said I would eat it as is. I get it when new places open they have stuff to work out. It's expected, but don't have kids going in the kitchen, staff not wearing hair nets, and microwaving your food. I have my food service license and I know all the rules and regulations of food safety. Allowing kids to serve food and going in the kitchen along with staff not wearing hair nets is a big NO NO. Fast forward to recently. I decided to give this place another try. They should have worked everything out by now. Nope. Same issues as my first visit. There was literally no on in the restaurant. Maybe three other people. Service was slow, food was cold. They forgot my side. Nothing has changed since day one. The way the restaurant is setup is poor design. You walk past the pop machine to look at the menu, then you order, then you have to go back to the the beginning of the line to get your pop. If there is a line of people ordering their food, you have to go through them to get to the pop machine. They should have moved the counter over and put the pop machine on the other side of the counter. This will make the flow 100% better. Over priced food, poor service, cold food. I highly recommend going to a different BBQ joint if you truly want good BBQ. Don't waste your time or money going to this place. Food is always cold. They microwave their food, always forget to bring out sides. read more

This is a strange concept restaurant. We were the only people in there at 5:00 on a Tuesday evening. The sole employee was frazzled because his replacement person was already an hour late. So the strange concept has to be explained. You give them a credit card and drivers license. They punch a bunch into a machine and then give you a Crave card. You use that card to pour your own beer from the Beer Wall. The beer is priced per ounce and as you pour your beer it calculates how many ounces come out and deducts it from your Crave card. Then you order your food. You would think you would use your Crave card for that but no, pay for that with your credit card or cash. Now the food. We each ordered a pulled pork sandwich that comes with a pickle and coleslaw. In addition we ordered one order of chili cheese fries for $4.95. The food for the six people we were there with came to the table a little at a time. For instance, our sandwiches came and five minutes later we recvd the chili cheese fries. Both were terrible. The pulled pork was soooooo dry we had to keep adding BBQ sauce to get it down. The chili cheese fries were in a small paper boat with appx 10 fries, a scoop of chili and some shredded cheese that wasn't and wouldn't melt. The chili on the fries was inedible. Needless to say, we won't be back. read more
