Aloha fellow BES' Kine Goodies Seekers!…read more I LOVE MANUELA MALASADAS so.stop by every time I go to Costco! They are right across the street so I may drive to the lot right next to the truck or just run across the street ! It's a cute, very clean food truck right off the hotel driveway & parking lot with parking stalls right near it in case you buy a bunch to take home. Or have a car full of luggage from your flight to Maui since it's just down the way from OGG airport. Malasadas put donuts to shame!!! ESPECIALLY if you like gooey fillings & toppings. My favorite ones are around Christmas but they have tons of regular fillings. I can never get less than three because I can't pass up my chance to try new ones. They have wonderful staff... especially the manager Sabrina...really know their way around dough and they do not scrimp on the Malasadas itself or the fillings! They ONLY cook just for you... so plan a few minutes wait but they have picnic tables under a tarp right there or you can walk around the other food trucks. But definitely at least take your first bites there while they're hot out of the frier!!! 'Only ONE piece of advice: ... G O. H U N G R Y !!!! ...

Price is crazy. Gouging at its finest So $25 for 12 and…read more$1.50 more per for filling. Making it $43 for dough and filling. Auntie says $24 and I hand her $50. Hands me back $7. Basically says oh you can't do math that way? Nothing special about these and honestly the taste just isn't there

There are not many places to get a good slice of pie on Maui, but Maui Pie in Kihei is the real…read moredeal. I will drive from Wailuku to Kihei every time just for their peach cobbler. I had the peach cobbler warmed up and a la mode, and it was delicious. Crumble toppings on pie are my absolute favorite, that buttery, crumbly goodness you wish would never end. Hubby had the key lime pie a la mode, and it was the perfect balance of creamy sweetness and tart, but not too tart. Both slices came with a generous scoop of vanilla ice cream, which is the only way to do it. The service was friendly, too. The indoor seating was full, so we sat outside, which turned out to be lovely for people watching and enjoying the fresh air. If you have a sweet tooth and appreciate a proper slice of pie, Maui Pie is worth the trip. Highly recommend, and I'll see you there for more peach cobbler!

ONE OF THE BEST PIES I'VE EVER HAD…read more ** But terrible customer service ** This place would easily be a 5 star if they had more polite people working there. My mom politely asked if they had any sugar-free pies available. The girl at the register stated " you need to ask for those a day in advance". So my mom asked if she could place an order now to pick up one tomorrow. The girl then looked up from the register with an annoyed look on her face and said, verbatim, " does it look like I'm the head baker? I only work the register. You need to leave the store and call us to order". We all looked at each other shocked. That was the most rude response I've heard in a while... like we are supposed to know who specifically ask to order a sugar free pie ... ... just a wild situation for such a fun place with great tasting pies. The good: - blackberry mango was probably my favorite pie - peach cobbler a close second place - loved the mountain berry as well The bad: - the girl working the register - you want a sugar free pie? Make sure to NEVER ask in person. You have to call in. - And they only offer whole pies and not slices for sugar free pies The verdict: - minus 2 stars for the rude girl who yelled at my mom - minus 1 star for only having whole pies and not slices for sugar free pies, even though they only have 3 flavors to choose from... Such a shame to have people like that working at a place that serves such a good product.

Coming to Maui you actually have to stop and enjoy this Scandinavian/European Style Coffee Shop…read more It offers a great variety of Coffees and in house specialty syrups for your drinks. They offere Iced and Hot Coffees and Matcha as well. The place offers food like sandwiches and empanadas (only place in the island I have seen this). For me their pastries are their specialty. Such variety of them including croissants with Pistcahio and Lilikoi cream inside. You cannot find this easily. A must try here. Service is great and super fast. Place is big with lots of tables and chairs and another unique seating like if you were in a patio. Ambiance is super cool and it takes me back like being in a Coffee Shop in Norway or Sweden.

The shop itself was very clean and spacious with comfy seating. The line was quite long - but it moved along quickly. I ordered a double latte and he a cappuccino - looking at the pastry case everything was absolutely photo worthy. We chose the 'coconut roll' to share and took our order to go. We savored every heavenly bite. We will definitely return.

The difference was night and day. Ululani's ice is incredibly light and flaky, and their flavors are so pronounced and delicious. Yes, the lines can be long, but it is for a great reason! Both the Sunset Beach and No Ka Oi combinations were amazing. I also loved that they have signs encouraging you to ask for more syrup if needed. It ensures your treat is made exactly to your taste. I just wish they would consider staying open later!
