I tried two funnel cakes the Hazel Berry and the Fruity Pebs. Both were delicious! The service was excellent.

Ordered the Berrylicois for a late night dessert. A strawberry explosion. Strawberries with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream topped with strawberry syrup on top of a funnel cake. We liked the crunchy funnel cake the best. But still very good.

I kept hearing good things about this place and drive by the brightly lit pink truck so I was excited to try it. Yes, there is a wait so it's best not to come here if you're in a rush. They sell huge funnel cakes with ice cream, deep fried desserts, ice cream sundaes, drinks, and smash burgers. We ordered the deconstructed mud pie and waited about 20 minutes. It was huge, definitely enough for 2 hungry people. The only thing missing were nuts so we added some when we got home. Perfection! This truck is open late- 11 pm! Perfect for those late night cravings!

I feel bad giving one star to local business but none of us could eat it.. we threw the funnel cakes away :( They were very thick it was one big chunk of dough put together into a ball, with icing sugar sprinkled only on top and then you are stuck with a ball of dough under. Too thick. I was hoping i could taste some decent funnel cake but this was not edible for more than few bites on top.

Chirro cup is what I ordered. They were out of cups. My friend's was twice as big!

I didn't think anything of the prices cuz I'm on vacation in Hawaii. Then the young man running the dessert truck called our names to pick up our orders. Our desserts were HUGE and DELICIOUS and very much worth the money and then some! Highly recommend visiting this establishment!

If you've seen them around, you know this is the go to late night dessert spot. We've been hearing about how good their treats are so we had to go check them out! We got the Deconstructed Mud Pie Funnel Cake. Disclaimer: these are HUGE. Definitely find some friends or fam to share with! The funnel cake itself isn't oily, it's crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The taste is great! Our only gripe is that there is not enough ice cream for the size of the cake. Other than that, it is so awesome and delicious. We can't wait to come back with our kids to try more of their creations. Follow their Instagram for hours, locations and their specials.

Omg yasssss! The name fits this spot so perfect! Totally Yumtastic Tries this spot at Maui Sunday Market because the line was long so I had to check it out. As soon as I saw funnel cakes and churros I was sold! Churros are my fave! For my first time, I opted for a strawberry shortcake funnel cake $15 and deep fried s'more $11. I wasn't paying attention and the menu says for one piece, had I noticed I wouldn't have gotten the s'more. The funnel cake was $15 and like 10x bigger so it just makes sense. It fed 4 adults and 2 children lol. It was soooooo good! It's not a skimpy funnel cake and they load the toppings it's so worth it! The s'more was ono too but the price is a little much considering how much more bang for your buck you can get for the funnel cake. I'll definitely be back to try other flavors! The churros look yummy too. Also if you don't want a big funnel cake they have smaller sundae or cup sized options. The workers are really nice and considering it was super busy, about 10-20 min isn't too bad. Stop by and support local!

This place is so fun!!! It was so hard to decide what kind to get with so many delicious options. We decided on Da Fat Boy and we were not disappointed. Huge proportion so definitely happy I shared it with someone! Wish there had been somewhere to sit and enjoy this... and maybe not at a gas station. Otherwise, can't wait to come back and try more! :)

Ever since the fair has been postponed on Maui since 2020, I've been looking for a place that does really great funnel cakes, and Yumtastic provides that and more - they have a really aesthetic truck and have always been super kind to me when striking up conversation. Their funnel cakes are always the star, but they also have dessert drinks that shine in their own right. If you're looking for a place to have some classic fair food/desserts with friends, this is the place to go - Miguel Morales Photography

Da Fat Boi $16 (Funnel cake with vanilla ice cream, chocolate chip cookie pieces, whipped cream, and chocolate syrup)

Our server was super friendly, and the food was great. Also such a cute spot!! Definitely recommend

BEST FILIPINO FOOD ON THE ISLAND!…read more During my 1 week stay at Maui I probably came here about 5 times. I went here right after getting off the airport to get some quick comfort food before checking in to my stay in Kīhei and Tagpuan happened to be on the way. I ordered the chicken Inasal and pork lumpia and from those two simple dishes I could tell that this place was legit. IMO that inasal's definitely better than Mang Inasal back in PI and much better than the Inasal I've had in the Bay Area so hopefully that hypes it up enough. Kept coming back almost every single day till I left to go back to the mainland. In that time I also had the grilled liempo (pork belly), crispy pork belly, and longanisa sliders - all excellent dishes. Really love the sauce selections they use for their dishes too - pretty good balance of acid to cut the fat making the dishes feel not too heavy. The food truck is currently nestled in what seems to be an auto shop lot. There's a nice clean bathroom access via the auto shop near the food truck itself. Lots of parking, a few benches to eat at, and of course, really good food. The couple that run Tagpuan are incredibly kind and hard working people. Would highly recommend - not only to support a local business owner (who's from Lāhainā) but because they serve genuinely good and authentic Filipino food.

They've been part of the island's food scene for over 12 years now, and I still remember their off-the-beaten-path spot on Hobron Avenue in Kahului. You would have never guessed there was delicious food being served up there, but those who knew, knew. These days, you can find them in Kahului parked at Da Tambayan Corner on Lono Avenue, or sometimes popping up out at Ho'okipa. Now, full disclosure -- I don't eat raw fish, so I can't personally vouch for their poke bowls, but that's what they're known for and I've had a number of friends and family enjoy it. What I can vouch for, though, is their fried poke -- perfectly seasoned ahi cubes, floured and fried, served over rice and lettuce, and drizzled with a creamy mayo aioli. Get it hurricane style for extra sauce and furikake seasoning -- it's delicious and gives it an extra boost as once in a while it's on the drier side. Another favorite is the poke bake, which is just as satisfying and generously portioned. Started getting this recently and it hits the spot. Highly recommend either dish, especially if you're like me and prefer your fish cooked. And whatever you do, don't skip the furikake fries -- curly fries topped with aioli and furikake. SO good. Beyond the great food, my team has worked with Like Poke for company events, and they're always a hit. Friendly service and consistent quality eats that keep people coming back -- they're a favorite among locals for a reason.

I was immediately intrigued by the calamansi pork -- an item I had never seen it on a menu before. One bite and I was hooked. The pork was tender and flavorful, and the bright, citrusy calamansi added a unique tang that made the dish completely unforgettable. It was so good that I'm still thinking about it after coming home. We also tried the pancit noodles, pork sisig, and mochiko chicken, and every dish was excellent. The pancit was packed with flavor, the sisig was gelatinous (fir those who are into it), and the mochiko chicken was crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and impossible to stop eating. For my first visit to Maui and my first time trying Da Soriano Grindz, this food truck set the bar incredibly high. If you're visiting Maui and want amazing Filipino food that's a little different from what you'll find elsewhere, don't skip this spot. The calamansi pork alone is worth the trip.
