THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE!!!! I recommend not to go. The store is always so crowded that sometimes people skip you in line!!! UGH Also me and my cousin wanted to get 2 scoops of ice cream and we had $9, so you'd think we'd have enough money right?? Think again! So, we asked the worker at the counter how much a medium was and it was $4.20 so that would be $8.40 for both of us. So, we asked if two scoops would be a medium and he said yes. So we thought we were in the clear with some extra change to tip. Also, you should know that they sell the ice cream by the weight. So when he gave us our TWO scoops of ice cream (which he said would be mediums) he told us that our total came out to $9.58!!! Me an my cousin looked at each other and realized we were $0.58 short so we asked him if we could go get more money and he said "as long as one of you stays here" so my cousin ran off to the place we were staying at right across the street and he scavenged around our room for some $.70. That was the worst cravings experience by far!! If you re thinking about going here just be prepared for your first and last visit to a SLAVE MARKET! Cravings is a little shop that serves cookies, coffee, and a number of other things including some smoothies that sounded delicious. I'm still kicking myself for not trying one. The coffee hit the spot and the cookies were quite tasty though my husband complained that the oatmeal cookie wasn't chewy. It wasn't fancy, but the place was full. And, apparently, they have some kind of refill deal as I saw several people bring in their cups and get refills without paying while I debated what I wanted to order. The service was quite friendly but this isn't the place to go if you're in a rush. The atmosphere of the staff and the customers is very laid back. If I'm ever in Vero Beach again, I'm going back to try one of the Greek yogurt smoothies and get another cookie. read more

Ordered s banana split they did not have half the ingredients still was charged 7.00 dollars for ice cream Hershey's syrup and redi whip on top. This place is a gem, good selection of ice cream plus other pastries that you maybe Craving, thus their name. Staff ultra friendly patient and attentive and patient while we were looking over the selection. I liked the place even though they even had a selection of candy, even though I'm not a fan of stuff like that. They introduced me to Gator tracks ice cream (southern version of Moose tracks ice cream). Next time I'm in the area I will be there for desert. read more

I very much disagree with what the person before me says as far as the owner being a bitch. I have (seriously) worked for both Mary Sue Walker(owner of Cravings) and Starbucks. Mary Sue was the best boss I have EVER had and is an amazing, caring woman. She hired me at 16 with no previous job experience and promoted me to a shift manager at 17. She helps so many young people get great work experience and is very dedicated to perfecting her business. We served very high quality food and drinks of all types. Ice cream, coffee, homemade bakery items, and the best sandwiches in town! Try the Chicken Bruschetta Ciabatta Sandwich or the Chicken Club! Delightful! Starbucks on the flip side was the single WORST job I've ever had. They are slave drivers who expect everything for nothing. The pay was terrible for the expectations they held us to. I was ordered to scrub the grout on the floor of a busy Starbucks several times! Starbucks, a corporate giant, is so cheap they would rather force managers to scrub floors than hire professional cleaners. I have also seen a Starbucks Store Manager order employees to keep serving people even after the bathroom plumbing over flowed into the store's sinks and dish sanitizer. That's right. Literal HUMAN FECES in the only places we have to clean our dishes and the store stayed open because there was a festival and we were making a lot of sales. Starbucks is the root of all evil and serves you people in the most disgusting conditions. The pastries arrive stale in pre-packaged boxes, the coffee is mediocre at best, and the sandwiches are so full of salt and preservatives eating there will certainly cause health problems. The cases where pastries are served are very often swarming with fruit flies and the back room conditions are deplorable. The place where we served the popular Frappuccino was very often a breeding ground for maggots. I am NOT making this stuff up. So I highly recommend you do NOT go to Starbucks over Cravings(or at all for that matter) and ignore this idiot(probably a major bitch herself) who reviewed before me. read more

I went to Cravings today for ice cream because Boardwalk was closed. I tried two flavors and both were pretty terrible and the red velvet cake ice cream had a weird chemical taste. I would go elsewhere for ice cream. read more

Wanted to check out a local dessert shop. This place scored very low in my book. It appeared unclean, the desserts no longer look like the former images in other reviews...they had stale cookies, not sweet rolls and pastries, with non-local ice cream. I ditched and went to Kilwins just down the street...thought we have one in our hometown, it was amazing....just the smell as you walk in makes you crave chocolate! Yum! read more

Feb 9- Coming from Ann Arbor where there is a coffee shop within steps no matter where you are, finding this coffee shop was a happy thing for us. We had good strong coffee with several choice reagding the strength. Enjoyed it several times and will go back. Good value, lots of lunch, breakfast, snack, smoothie and ice cream choices. Fast service when we visited. Very economical compared to fancier hotel poolside choices. You wouldn't go there for fancy service or dinner but all else is excellent. Whilst I can imagine it could get a little over crowded at busy times I don't understand the other reviews complaints.
