Chicken was super salty, beans were undercooked and hard, didnt give us the cake we ordered or the extra cup of sauce we paid for.

I then asked what do people order most and she answered that question. The beef patty was delicious! Wish I would have ordered one of each type. The curry goat had lots of flavor. The escovitch snapper was over cooked. The veggies on top were spicy and deliciously seasoned. The fish didn't have much flavor outside of the veggies on top of it. Great Jamaican food! I'll definitely be back!

The beef patties were also delicious. The crust was perfect, and the filling was flavorful and authentic. I found the Jamaican Conch Fritters to be a bit overcooked, with an unexpected sweetness. The Sweet taste was okay..... It was just overcooked. Most disappointingly was the Ackee and Saltfish plate. The consistency was overly mushy, the inclusion of large cherry tomatoes was unexpected, and the cabbage was undercooked. Sidenote.....the rice and plantains were enjoyable. While I will not be ordering the Ackee and Saltfish again, I would give them a second try and order something else. #GratuityAdded #GreensboroEats #GreensboroJamaicanSpots #DaReggeSpot #GreensboroPlacestotry

We ordered two rolling cheesesteaks, mac & cheese, a jerk chicken combo (after being told they didn't have enough shrimp for the original order and asking us to substitute), plus drinks. The biggest issue was pricing. Our total came to almost $60, and the math didn't seem right based on posted pricing. When I asked for a receipt and questioned the charge, resolving the discrepancy became unnecessarily difficult before I finally received an $8 correction. That alone left a bad impression. Another concern was cleanliness. While waiting, I personally noticed and photographed visible buildup/staining in the food holding/display areas, which did not create a clean or appetizing impression. As for the food: The rolling cheesesteaks were decent but very greasy. The mac & cheese was underwhelming. The jerk chicken combo was also extremely oily/greasy. Drinks were ok. For the amount spent, the food quality and overall experience simply did not justify the cost. Cute concept, but major improvements are needed in pricing transparency, cleanliness, and consistency.

I ordered the curry chicken combo with cabbage, rice & peas, and a splaa. There was a bit of a wait, and the space is pretty small, so there's not really anywhere to stand while your food is being prepared. I ended up waiting in my car for my order. Flavor-wise, I was honestly a bit underwhelmed and disappointed. The curry chicken didn't have the seasoning I was expecting, and overall it didn't stand out. The splaa might've been the best thing I had that day. I love Jamaican food and have tried plenty of other spots that rank higher for me in both taste and price. Sadly, this one just wasn't it for me, and I won't be returning.

My initial introduction was when they were located in Stock and Grain Food Hall. I had wanted to try them for a while and luckily I was invited to a Yelp Event where I was able to sample some items. In all fairness, I absolutely loved the service but maybe it was an off night but at the time I wasn't a fan. But as some months passed, they are no longer in Stock and Grain but in a food truck in High Point. I highly suggest following their Facebook page for dates and times where you can catch them. The service was still wonderful and the food was really good. The sweet potato cornbread is one of my favs and the chicken wings and catfish bites were fried to perfection. I love collard greens but do understand, everyone makes them differently. My family is from eastern NC so we make ours savory, theirs have a little sweetness to it. I don't mind it but this time around was so much better, it was very well balanced. The mac and cheese was delicious as well. Although not pictured, do check out their Russian tea drink. I felt very nostalgic and I have no other words but it was great. I try to savor it when I get some. I wish he sold them in half gallon jugs because I would buy it. That's how good it is. They have other items like Rasta pasta, oxtails, pork chops, and turkey wings. I can't wait to come back and try more food. Give them a follow and check them out. You won't be disappointed.

They were absolutely incredible (in no particular order because they were all perfect): Lemon pepper wings: Huge, seasoned and prepared perfectly! Four large wings per order. Yams: Incredible, I haven't had yams in years and really enjoyed them. Mac and Cheese: Very, very good, enjoyed. Sweet potato cornbread: Incredible as well, sweet and moist. We will make it a point to visit more frequently!

Sometimes trying somewhere new works out, and sometimes it doesn't. Unfortunately, this was one of those times.
