When we come into town we hit this place up. The food is always good and plentiful. Just yesterday ordered out. My father n law got a poor boy sandwich that only had 3 shrimp! Are you serious. I asked for a pound of boiled shrimp. I got 10 shrimp, and I'm guessing the potatoes and corn made up for the rest of the shrimp. This was a nogo! The sandwich's were good but the seafood was lacking! I expected more from this place, I don't know if it's under new management but they need to step it up. Crab cakes... I have never seen crabcakes swimming in a sauce. They even had jalapeño peppers in them. That's another thing I have never seen. They were highly seasoned and I was not able to eat them. My husband's chicken tenders were dark brown and over done. He complained to the waitress and she read cooked him but when they returned they returned with the price from the first plate of chicken tenders that were now ice cold. I have never seen any restaurant do that. Definitely will not be back here again. read more

This place was in the middle of no where but worth the stop. The meal was equal to any good Cajun food I've had. The shrimp were lightly battered and tasty. The boiled crawfish were mixed in size, peeled easy and seasoned well. The only draw back was the location and the crowd. It's opens at 5 and was full with a wait by 6. Been here twice. The first time my family went we ordered right away and asked for our children food to be brought out first, not to wait on the adults. There were only two other tables in the restaurant and it took 30 minutes for a grilled cheese sandwich meal and chicken tender meal to arrive. Took an additional 30 minutes for the 4 adults at the table to receive food. The next time we went at the 25 minute wait for two grilled cheese meals for the kids we left. Restaurant was no were close to packed or busy either time but could not see waiting that long for a local restaurant to bring food to table. read more
