When the drinks were served ordered 5 lbs of crawfish. Our server said they were not good today and suggested shrimp or crab legs. She brought us each a crawfish to try, one was good, the other undercooked and mushy. We took her suggestion, drank our beverages and left to find another crawfish restaurant. Minimum order is 3 pounds and the average ordered is 5 pounds. The crawfish is overly seasoned with extreme levels of spice and salt, you need a bucket of beer to help reduce the salt intake. I'm from South Louisiana and moved to Tulsa. I was down visiting for a BMX race and had to have crawfish! We came here and the aroma engulfed me right away. After a brief wait, we got the pot of gold. The flavor was amazing. Size was good. My ONLY complaint was that they were a tad too hot (and I'm used to hot). A bit too much cayenne. We had tears pouring down our faces and nose running. I wish that they didn't take our drinks away from us when refilling too because that 1 minute it took them to refill had us almost in tears waiting for our drinks to come back. We had an appetizer, we each had 2 drinks (doubles @ $14 each), my husband had 5 pounds of crawfish and I had the crab legs. The bill was $142 plus the tip. Corrugated walls, friendly waitresses, corn cooked in the boil, and lots of seafood. I had crab legs. They were great. The hush puppies had a good spice and the meat pies were yummy. Yum-yum! We are here in West Monroe for a weekend visit with daughter. We were told about this place in a shopping mall. Better than most restaurants in Baton Rouge. Crawfish not too hot, most were large. Some were select. Good prices. Shrimp were good as well as the crab too. Apps were very good, and were totally unexpected. We were here visiting for the BMX race from Oklahoma. We had a group of people and they accomodated us in a timely matter. Our waitress was great. This place was super busy, but catered to large crowds. Service was fast. I personally did not eat any Crawfish however the rest of the party devoured 20lbs of the delicacies. The seasoning of the crawfish was great a little hot for some of the group but it did not stop them from finishing everything. The boudin was served differently than I'm used to but it was very good.
