I got many recommendations for this dental office and figured I'd give them a try. I asked to be scheduled with Dr. Gordon since a family member said he was the best. To my surprise at my appointment I received a different dentist, I don't remember which one it was but he did just fine. I also got another different dentist for my filling the last time I went who was also good. They did my filling in about 30 minutes and offer laughing gas for $15. Their numbing agent worked quickly and wore off within two hours or so which I really liked since I hate half of my face being numb all day long. You are required to wear a mask going into their office then once you are in your chair you can remove it. All the staff is very friendly.

a while ago i got a series of fillings. the procedure was fine, but several of the teeth that were…read morefilled required root canals not soon after the fillings, which i think was unusual and disappointing. i got one of the root canals here, it was one of my front teeth and in a few weeks it turned gray. i was given no knowledge that this could happen and i'll need another treatment if i ever want to fix it. also, i asked for some drugs to calm my anxiety during the root canal because i wasn't experienced with them and was scared. the doctor ground something into a powder and dropped it on my tongue. never was i told what this drug is or what it does. it was ok, though i silently cried the whole time. then when it was over i was crying and forgetting and crying and forgetting some more. it was an ordeal for my boyfriend because he was confused why i kept forgetting what happened 15 minutes ago and i was confused because i didn't know what he was talking about. again we were never warned of these side effects. (my emotions are my own, but short term memory loss is something they definitely should've stated clearly. maybe they did and i forgot! haha. but no seriously they should've made us more aware of these serious side effects before i took the drug.) anyway at the end the assistant made me take some tylenol or something and she watched as i spilled the water all down my front because obviously i was too numb to be drinking anything. she even gave me a mirror like that would help but it just made it all the more embarrassing, and funny, though i was a bit annoyed at her incompetence. she had this look like a scared deer the whole time, and it's kind of part of her job to calm the patient so, just something to be aware of. yeah overall hated this place, bad vibes, bad communication. i'm sure they could be fine for other people especially if they're your regular but my experiences were not great. lightly traumatizing even, though i'm over it. i just don't want this happening to other people. step it up please! much love to you though!

We…read morewere traveling from California for a basketball tournament when my daughter's front teeth were knocked out in a collision on the court. The athletic trainer recommended Dr. Doman and called to see if they could accommodate an emergency visit, and they were happy to do so. As you can imagine, being in an unfamiliar state with an injured child is terrifying. However, we were greeted by the kindest staff member (Katie, I think her name was) who got her to a room right away. They were a calm, comforting voice in a chaotic time, to say the least, and were actually able to reposition and save her teeth. We were stunned! Aside from the injury itself, my daughter came out of the experience in high spirits with only minor pain. It was a masterclass in emergency dental care, and that is not an exaggeration! Dr. Doman took the time at the end of our visit to help us understand the injury and what to do when we got back home, even coordinating with her dentist in California to ensure they had the x-rays and other notes from our visit to help continue her care at home. I wish we lived in Utah simply so we could use this office regularly. Doman Dental is a blessing to the community, and I cannot express my appreciation enough!
