Expensive, over priced and not worth $7.50

I ordered through Uber eats. My entire order was correct except for my avocado toasts. Firstly, the uber eats menu states that the avocado toast comes with pomegranate and an egg on top. Neither of my avocado toasts ( I ordered 2) had any of those, all we got was pieces of toast with some guac spread and the spice. I called up Crawfords and spoke to the management, no help there. Spoke to Mark who was the "owner", no help there as well. On the phone, management spoke in Spanish to other workers assuming I wouldn't understand which is stupid because I DID UNDERSTAND. On the phone, we were repeatedly told they couldn't do anything about it and was extremely rude. No mention of reimbursement and no mention of redelivering the order. The entire conversation lasted 10 minutes with them constantly being unhelpful and not offering any type of reimbursement. Also, let it be know that each piece of toast was $7.50. Overall, I paid $15 for 4 triangle pieces of toast smeared with guac and some olives sprinkled on. Crawfords is overpriced and they don't even send the correct order. I will not even try this place again and rather take my money elsewhere.

This place looks very promising with all the pictures of sandwiches around but 3 out 5 items were not available. I mean what did you run out of at 11:40 in the morning that you can't make a grilled veggie? All hardly speaking English workers at the counter did not help the situation even though they were very nice. The food is edible and nothing more. Perfect for the following saying: "Pictures can be deceiving "

Unfortunately, they don't use real Italian bread to make a panini. The one on the picture is a regular grilled bread.

Crawfords is a kosher coffee bar and cafe that also makes sandwiches, smoothies, pizza, desserts, and more. I found the place to be clean but my table had a funny odor that smelled like someone might have wiped it down with a dirty cloth. The waitstaff was friendly and from my observation they have a following of regulars. Prices were normal for a kosher cafe. I only had coffee which was rather mediocre in flavor and strength. So my review does not include the food which looked pretty well made.

Food: Smash burger are great, they are not the best but I would rank it as top 5 in the city. I was pretty surprised how they charge for cheese (the place is mostly Kosher, and the Cheese of I remember is vegan) which contradict the concept of smash burgers. The fries were overly cooked if not almost burned, so I couldnt eat half of the basket. Service: ordering regular fries and getting trufle fries just to charge me extra is not a nice move. But having those popcorn and water cup made up for it little bit. If I knew I would be charged that much (burger + fries) I would have chosen from the lunch special menu

Wanted to like this place more but it missed the mark. This is really a 3.5 star review…read more I went on a weekday around 12:30 and it was completely empty. I was told to take a menu from the counter and that I could have a seat. Tried to order a mint lemonade but they didn't have any mint. OK so I ordered a strawberry basil iced tea, which was refreshing, but didn't really have much flavor in my opinion. When I looked at the menu, they had a lot of different burger options but I settled for a Smashburger that was shown on a summer menu. However, I then watched the waiter offer two groups who came after me a lunch special menu that was not offered or mentioned to me. Had I known there were lunch specials, I would've checked them out to see if I wanted to order. So I was a little upset that these were offered to everyone except me. In terms of the actual burger, I found the patties to be way too thin, even for a smash burger. To me it left the burger, feeling kind of skimp and not fulfilling at all. I also ordered fries which were honestly the star of the show. Lastly, I didn't feel like the service was up to par. There was a large table in front of a door and the waiter kept yelling to people to not sit at the table because he needed to access the door. My question is, why place a table in a spot that you know you need to be able to go in and out of? And then on top of that when he gave me the bill, it said one price, however, after I paid and a receipt was brought to me to sign it, had a different price. What I think happened is he did not add the drink the first time and I didn't notice, but I feel like when this happened you should just say to the customer that you forgot to add something and here's a new receipt. There was also an automatic 15% gratuity, which I wasn't fond of. I spent $40 for a lunch that I barely liked. Way too overpriced and not worth the visit imo.

Then came the beef brisket on rye with a cup of au jus for dipping... and brother, that dip should be studied by scientists. Pure perfection. Loved their olive oil cake served with an in season persimmon and kumquat coulis, almost like a short cake and the sweet and tart of the fruit coulis complimented really well.
