We ordered a kofte kebab. It's my first time having this but I liked it - the meat mixture was of lamb and beef. There was definitely the gamey taste of lamb - so either you like it or you don't. Wildbayberry as they call themselves now. I had the pleasure of dining here a few times and the food is always ok, and the wait is always not. Today was the last straw. I came here with my husband and two kids, and we were seated promptly. There were a total of 4 tables occupied as we were being seated as the fifth. We placed our order within 5 minutes and proceeded to wait. Tea came out , no honey , water no lemon ( which is ok not customary even if we asked for it prior) we were also told to disregard the menu prices as egg prices went up and they have to charge us more per egg than the menu states. Alrightly, as we waited for 25 minutes and tables begin to fill up more and more, I'm now getting anxious because my kids are hungry and can't settle. The waitress told us and I quote," I'm sorry it will be about 5 more minutes because we do the Togo orders first " lol wtf? Even if that is the case, don't ever say it out loud. After waiting for now a total of 30 minutes we asked to pay for our tea and leave. The waitress again mentioned, how she's sorry they have a lot of to go orders that need attention. Top tier customer service and pastries! I got the shakshuka, which was delicious as well. The staff is incredibly understanding and supportive of every customer's wants and needs. I don't like leaving 1 star reviews but... we came for birthday breakfast/brunch. Food is mediocre and that's being generous. Portions are tiny and prices are crazy. My eggs Benedict came with no meat of any kind (no bacon or Canadian bacon) wife's avocado smash for $23 was bland - 0 seasoning, little avocado and no lime or cilantro or anything that gives it flavor. Literally some squished avocado on piece of bread. Side salads were sweet (like sugary no salt or vinegar). Chef must be allergic to salt as seasoning missing in all the dishes. And prices for all this are insane. $23 for one piece of avocado toast, $17 for meatless Benedict, $17 for tiny crepe that was 2 bites. I absolutely love WildBerry Cake! This is my goto spot for cakes. My favorite is wild berry cake, the balance of flavors was spot on sweet, slightly tart. The berries inside tasted fresh and juicy, and the cake itself was light, fluffy, and moist without being overly rich. I came here on a recommendation from some family members who had brunch over the weekend and were extremely happy with the food. First impressions were GREAT!! I did read some of the reviews and in the two years they are open they are holding at 4.7 out of 5 stars. In any business you will never please everyone. This is really an AWESOME spot! Great food, selection, service, very fair prices, super clean including the bathrooms, friendly staff, trendy, great outdoor space with the by far one of the best outdoor enclosed street seating of any restaurant in NYC since the program started after COVID 19. I had the pleasure of meeting and speaking with the owner after dinner. It was great to see he was on site and hands on. Not a silent partner or person sitting in the office. He was engaging customers and observing his staff. He was very friendly and I wish him the best. They have a fantastic bakery and you need to checkout their website, select about and read their story. They are very proud of their history and story. We had the Adobe chicken wrap which comes with chips and a small salad. Great taste and value. We also had the house breakfast sandwich which comes with chow and a salad as well. I had the Turkish tea which was authentic. I highly recommend Wildberry and I will definitely be back to try their entrees and possibly order a cake for an occasion. I think this place is great for desserts but needs more options for breakfast. A nice steak and eggs is all I ask. I tried the napoleon and it was done very well, though not a traditional version. The dough was very light and moist. Most places have a drier thicker dough . Wildberry seems to use a unique cream made of maybe mascarpone and heavy cream? Not sure. But its airy but doesnt taste as boring as vanilla cream. Their 3 layer cake is good. The bottom layer seems to be darker moister chocolate than the other 2 layers that I assume is milk chocolate. Think it would have been better to just use all three dark chocolate layers. Also, since they make their desserts on-premises, I would love for them to make banana pudding. Coffee still needs to be dialed in but milk fixes all. read more

Decided to try this new place for brunch on the weekend. Got the house breakfast sandwich, a cappuccino and a slice of the wildBerry cake. The sandwich was turkey, cheese, egg, greens and their chipotle mayo on toasted bread with potatoes and mixed green salad. It was a bit hard to eat and overpriced plus it fell apart after two bites but tasted good. The dessert excellent though. My friend got the pistachio raspberry cake and I got the wild berry cake currant slice which was incredible. I visited Wildberry very randomly yesterday. I just wanted a warm drink but upon entering I had to sit and chill for a bit. It was so cute and comfortable. Extremely clean and the staff was very welcoming. I had the Organic Mathca Latte with almond milk and the first sip warmed my whole heart. Lol. I wasn't hungry but I just had to try the Branzino Tacos. They were great. I enjoyed that they were flavorful and the branzino was well seasoned. What a perfect addition to our neighborhood! Wildberry serves everything I need: coffee in big mugs, delicious pastries & truly gorgeous cakes. I have yet to try their brunch but it looks awesome. They are slightly pricier than the local coffee spots but totally worth it for the ambience to sit and relax or even work, as I am doing right now. Their cakes and desserts are freshly made in house (there is a window where you can see them making them!) and are so delicious! Breakfast is good at this place, other food on the menu not so much. Everything is premade and then warmed up. Cakes are tasty but very expensive! $11 for a little piece of cake is just way too much ( and they keep making their pieces smaller and smaller every time!). But what pisses me off the most is their boxes for to go cakes. Every time I take a piece of cake home I come with this (photo attached), doesn't matter how careful you are with it. I don't know who made these boxes and why they keep buying them, it's the worst packaging! So much paper and it doesn't not hold the cakes at all. You can't serve it to people when you bring it home. Where in the beginning the waitstaff was present to take our order, it slowly trickled down to no service. The staff however, were pleasant, but just their lack of care was real. Made reservations ahead of time for a party of 6. When we all got there they had us wait 30min as they weren't ready. When we finally sat down and ordered we waited about 45min-1hr for the food. We were almost ready to leave and go somewhere else since we were starving. When the waitress brought out the food 3 of the orders were wrong. Gave us avo smash instead of avo croissant. She looked at what she wrote down and apologized that she got it wrong but then also said that it was because the didn't have any croissants left. She could've then at least given us a heads up about it so we could change out order. Probably they did have croissants and she just mixed up the orders so came up with this excuse. The food was great and the look of the place was nice. The only thing that came on time were drinks and desserts. If you come here just get drinks and desserts. I understand that they're fairly new and still trying to work out some issues, but there's plenty of other restaurants in Brooklyn that are new with great food and fast service.
