I used Ubereats and didn't get my two orders of bacon I called Craytaste and a young lady put me on hold it's currently 15:11 minutes of waiting for her to return back to the phone. I'm hearing a customer engaging in an debate with the cook. They're in the background laughing now smh I'm yelling through the phone, I played siren noises, I pressed the buttons on the phone and nothing. It's loud music playing and no one noticed that a call hasn't come through in the last 18:40 minutes now. So I know how this is going to end, she going to notice the phone and hang up then when I call back it will be busy. If you want bad service and awful food then eat here. I've never seen such disorganized employees in my life. All walking around doing absolutely nothing (one was on the phone) and the rest were milling about as if there were no customers to serve. I finally had to get the manager because we sat for 40 minutes and still no server came over to even bring water. My food was terrible!!!!!! Nothing on the menu was healthy, and I tried to find an entree that, I thought was pretty basic, but apparently I didn't. The food tasted horrific. We visited Cray Taste for the first time today. We were impressed with the delicious food, our server Mai was attentive and professional. The hostess seated us quickly even though we didn't have a reservation on a busy Saturday afternoon. The recorded music selection was very good but too loud! The pancakes had black specks from something prior being cooked on the grill. So that says it wasn't cleaned before pouring batter . Turkey bacon was burnt . Half Way through eating my husband found a hair. I work in a restaurant-as a manager. So I was disgusted and called. The lady was beyond rude and told me I needed to call UberEats for a refund. I told her that I believed she needed too (being as though I work in arestaurant) she said she would and then HUNG UP ON ME. If I ever hung up on a customer my boss Would have my ass especially after an issue with their order. First time I've ever had disgusting food since moving to North Philly a year ago. I got the stuffed French toast with strawberries and cream cheese which was extremely soggy and fell apart. I probably could've made it better myself. I also got scrambled eggs that were bland and watery even though I asked for them well done and the potatoes I got were over salted. The sausage was also undercooked. Overall it was so gross that I couldn't eat half of it. I ordered shrimp and grits and my husband ordered the salmon cakes. The food was still hot when it arrived and my grits was still creamy and delicious. When I order grits from other restaurants by the time it arrives it's always hard but not this restaurant. My new favorite breakfast spot! Ordered delivery on Grubhub while at the hospital nearby. The "home fries" are not your basic PA bland diced potatoes! Here they're delicious thinly sliced potatoes fried up with onion and pepper and well seasoned. My 8 year old son tore them up, needing barely any ketchup!!
