A New Yorker coming to Philly. We always try to find the right food spots. This is the spot to add to your list. Philly knows how to season food. There was a little wait but expected with Memorial Day. Our server was so nice. She gave suggestions as new comers. The space was very inviting. Felt like an old school diner. The Shrimp and Gritsssssssssssss was out of this world. Best grits I've had at a restaurant. I will be taking a trip back to Philly just for this!
Drink was on the sweet side and chai flavor wasn't very strong but still a nice drink. Mushroom toast was delicious! Korean bowl was nothing special but chicken was fried very nicely. Friendly service and place was basically full for lunch on a Monday!
You're from out-of-state. You're groggy (putting it mildly) from the night before's event at The Franklin Institute. You need good grub and caffeine before you need to head back home. (Yelp was there to save the day.) My very first time at a "bruncherie" but it sure did feel and sound and look like a luncheonette. Great varied menu. Good portions, decent pricing. The rest of my (hungover) squad went with omelets which they all raved about. (They weren't impressed with the coffee but I liked it and it was sorely needed.) I'm powerless when seeing chicken and waffles and Sabrina's was absolutely dynamite. (I think this was my first time having a basil-butter with it, I skipped the extra syrup part.) To the people about to sit down that I almost stumbled into while trying to take a picture as well as the countless people waiting outside on the sidewalk hoping for a table to open up while we'd lounged at ours for entirely too long... I sincerely apologize. Sabrina's... you'll be fondly remembered!
We came on a Saturday at 10:30 prime brunch time!! We only had to wait about 30 min and it was the day of the Philadelphia marathon so there were plenty of people. I'd say they did a great job seating us and making our food in a timely fashion. Everything sounded good on the menu so it was pretty hard to choose . The girls had a kimchi bowl and huevos rancheros. I opted for the cannoli French toast, which was a great decision. I added two eggs over easy so I didn't feel as bad eating all that sugar! If you haven't already seen my pictures make sure you look because your mouth will be watering as soon as you do ! That cannoli French toast was amazing. I ate all of it. The crème and berries The eggs were perfect. The girls loved theirs too. For sure this restaurant always has a waitlist and for good reason. Our server was sweet. She worked hard and everyone looked like they like their job. I would 100% keep this on my list of favorite places in Philadelphia.

This is such a cute little brunch spot with an old-timey, yet slightly elevated dining feel! We chose Sabrina's mostly due to its convenient location near the Museum of Art, but I'm so glad we did. Because it was busy when we visited, we were seated at their bar. For whatever reason, their bar chairs are a bit uncomfortable and old, so I'd recommend grabbing a table if you can. Our waitress was really kind and patient as we figured out what to order. I tried an iced mocha, which was delicious and not overly sweet which I appreciated. I also got the recommended chicken & waffles which was very decadent and paired really nicely with the specialty butter they spread on top. This was a very filling meal, and I wish I could've tried more as everything on the menu sounded delicious!

I ordered a blueberry pancake latte and it was so delicious. I also ordered the make your own omelet with hash and toast. The hash is big potato chunks that were crispy and seasoned. The only issue we had is that they told one of my friends they didn't have their order super late and so everyone else had their food except her but the waitress apologized
A classic brunch spot that we took two of our out-of-town visiting friends to on a Saturday. I had the Wild Mushroom Toast, my partner got the stuffed burrito, and one of our friends got the Cannoli French Toast. The food was pretty good - I enjoyed my mushroom toast, though the portion was pretty small for the price. The french toast was delicious but as a standalone would be overly sweet, so would recommend splitting a sweet and savory entree with someone. Overall, I would keep it on a list of brunch options for visiting friends, but not somewhere I would go out of my way to eat at. I'd go to 3.5 stars if I could.
This place is a neighborhood staple and delivers every single time. Came here as a solo bruncher today and enjoyed every moment. I sat at the counter, which reminds me of the true diner experience, and immediately greeted with the menus and ask for any beverages. I decided on water and coffee. For food, it was more than plenty for one meal. I ordered the Philly hometown omelette and a single pancake. I prioritized eating the pancake and omelette and truly enjoyed every bite. Every single time I go here, I am blown away with how good the food is. The restaurant was packed but it wasn't too loud as I could still hear the wait staff without any issues. If you're looking for a great spot, check out Sabrina's - you can't go wrong.

Wow! So thankful I found this small, cozy, warm, and comfortable diner while visiting Philadelphia. Sabrina's Cafe is an excellent option to grab brunch before starting your day and the service is exceptional. They weren't kidding when they told me that I can't go wrong with selecting any of the menu items. Because, let me tell you, both the chicken and waffles AND the burrito were 5 out of 5 amazingness! Quality food and flavors and great prices too! You can also grab a cup of hot coffee while you're waiting too. If you're in town, definitely check it out. You won't be disappointed.

After a few sips of caffeine we knew what we wanted. I got a veggie patch omelette and my husband got an egg breakfast sandwich both with "homies," which is what they call their home fries. They were all different shapes and sizes, they were so crispy on the outside, warm and soft on the inside, and just felt familiar.They were exactly the comfort I needed in the moment. The omelette had a good ratio of veggies to egg and just enough goat cheese in the center to keep things interesting. After we finished eating and closed out our check. we were given greetings on the way out and left satisfied with our meal. All in all, Sabrina's Cafe is definitely a must visit for brunch if you're in Philly. It seems that there are multiple locations too!
Love this place! I always recommend this and any of the branches to new people because it is so cute! We loved the unique menu items and the food was actually so good and given in large portions! We definitely recommend trying any of their seasonal items and trying something new each time!

We started yesterday off with a delightful brunch at Sabrina's Cafe. We were thrilled to arrive and be seated quickly, even as a party of four. Our server Rachel was lovely and gave us a rundown of their specials and the menu's top hits. Our drink selections ranged from as boring as a Diet Coke to as fun as a seasonal lemonade. We were all content with our choices, though we puttered around making suggestions from their large drink menu. I typically go for a savory breakfast, but the stuffed brioche French toast was speaking to me. I can never turn down banana! The rest of our table ordered avocado toast (x2) and fried eggs with bacon. Everyone was really happy with their choices and an added bonus was that our food came out quickly. I insisted everyone at our table try a bite of my massive stuffed brioche French toast and the consensus was that it was ridiculously good. Though this spot is tiny, it is not to be missed. read more
A few friends and I were craving a hearty brunch on a Saturday morning and decided to check out Sabrina's Cafe near the Art Museum after seeing all the positive reviews. Luckily, we found street parking right next to the restaurant, which was a nice surprise. When we arrived, the wait for a table of three was about 45 minutes. That's somewhat expected for a popular brunch spot on a weekend. Once seated, the service was prompt. Our waiter stopped by quickly with waters and took good care of us throughout the meal. I ordered the House Angus Burger with sweet potato fries. It was solid, flavorful, and definitely filling. My friend got the Bella Vista Omelet with home fries, and we both agreed that while the food was good, it felt like standard brunch fare rather than anything particularly memorable. Based on the long wait and the hype surrounding Sabrina's, I think we were expecting the food to really stand out. In my opinion, the dishes we tried were comparable to what you'd find at a quality chain brunch spot like First Watch. That's not necessarily a bad thing, the food was satisfying, but it didn't quite justify the lengthy wait. That said, the menu has plenty of more unique and creative options that we didn't try. I'd be open to coming back and ordering one of those specialty dishes next time. Overall, I left satisfied with the meal and service. read more
Found Sabrina's Cafe while looking for a good brunch spot nearby before we left Philly. Unfortunately they didn't take reservations so we ended up taking a bar seating because we were starving! The place was a decent size but not for the amount of people that come in for prime time breakfast time. It was tightly packed. The decor is cute and rustic. Simple diner look. The staff were very nice and welcoming. We both ordered lemonades and it was good! Very refreshing and fresh. For food we shared the two eggs any style (scrambled) and sausage. All good too. The star of the show was the sweets. I had the brioche french toast and my gf had the pancakes with blueberry. We couldn't even finish it because it was a good portion. Sabrina's remains one of the best brunch spots in Philly! They do not take reservations, however, we got there around 945am and only had a 10 min wait. All the food was delicious and they have many options for dietary restrictions! Sabrina's gives a nice hometown diner feel inside. If you're visiting Philly you should stop and take a visit here for brunch! read more

The food was solid and good but I personally didn't love what I ordered (eggs Benedict, but there was too much bread and not enough egg in my opinion). Super cute cafe. That is filled with locals. The food is good and homemade. They have a creative menu that provides quality food. They portions sizes are huge so you definitely get what you pay for. I would say it is seasoned just right. Not over seasoned or under seasoned. So anyone with a dietary restriction in regards to too much salt will be fine here. Go check it out. The servers nice and the atmosphere is just right. Parking is a bit difficult though. read more

Came for brunch on a Saturday morning, and in typical behavior... it was busy. Luckily we can put our name/number down and they will text us when the table is ready. Everything about Sabrina's Cafe is absolutely divine. Joshua was the sweetest and made the best recommendations on the menu. My girlfriend had the vegan tofu plate and she loved it. The potatoes were so yummy as well. I had the French toast with the fried chicken breast. All I can say is WOW WOW WOW!!!!! The vanilla latte is so delicious. Perfect on those cold days in Philly.. Great food good prices but left a bad taste in my mouth since my food was cleared from the table before I had a chance to put it in my to-go box. It was a good amount of chicken and a third of my avocado toast which I had planned to take for lunch since I was on a road trip for work. First time trying here and it was a great experience! Only about a 20 minute wait on a Sunday morning. Service was prompt and friendly, the food was very tasty and a big portion. We got the farmhouse omelette, huevos rancheros, and blueberry pancakes. Overall the food was tasty (only minor complaint was the omelette could've been a smidge more seasoned). But the pancakes were fluffy and not too sweet, and the huevos rancheros were seasoned very well. The coffee was also delicious! Would recommend for breakfast/brunch. read more

I'm just updating my review! It's still 5 stars for me! My sister who lives nearby, is obsessed and comes here regularly! I think they recognize her now! Every time I've visited her, we come here. The key is to get here early. They don't take reservations. On a Saturday morning at 8:30, the inside was already packed. They open at 8! There's some outdoor seating options. Believe the hype! The food is delicious, comes out quickly, and the portions are generous This time, I had the avocado toast - came with a poached egg and home fries - it was yummy and filling. read more

Everything was wonderful. Brunch and lunch at Sabrina's is a Philadelphia is a city institution for a reason and this place did not disappoint. I got the chicken and waffles which was excellent. The chicken was very juicy and the waffles crisp and soft. We got french toast for the table which was also great though we probably should have gone for the classic challah french toast. The vibes were nice and our server was prompt and attentive. However I'd like to mention one specific food item that my friend got. He said the buffalo chicken sandwich might be the best sandwich he ever had. After trying a bite, it was hard to disagree. I'm definitely getting ready hat next time. Really really enjoyed having brunch here a few days ago. I flew in from MN to attend a concert and before heading to DE, I stopped by for a quick brunch with friends. We were greeted as soon as we got in and the service was great. I got the huevos rancheros, which had a very unique twist to it. Not traditional but it was good. I was hoping the eggs would be cooked in a tomato sauce. My buddy got the stuffed French toast and oh man that was off the chains!! I order takeout from here occasionally, but it's been a while since I've dined there. So I went with some people for lunch one day since we were in the area after a networking event. It wasn't crowded, but felt full with a good number of people having lunch/brunch. The staff were all pretty friendly. We were seated right after walking in and the service was a good pace throughout the entire dining experience. We all ordered something different but seemed to enjoy what we got. One person ordered one of the sandwich specials, another ordered the Mel's Chicken Sandwich and I got the Sante Fe Turkey Burger with sweet potato fries. It was very tasty, filling and served at the right temperature. I also had their Blueberry Lemonade which was really good. As always, a reliable place for a good meal. When the waitress came out and put the food down I exclaimed "This is literally all I've ever dreamed of!" She laughed but I was so serious. Baby, I've finally tried Sabrina's Cafe! I took these pictures so fast so I could eat, I'm sorry for the quality y'all. This shrimp and grits-- yumtastic! But honestly this half portion (so imagine the size of the regular portion) stuffed challah French toast was the greatest decision I've ever made in my decades of life. I miss it. read more

Yes, I have seen people there with their dogs on leash. I believe they will provide water for dog as well.
Is there Parking?
There's street parking for sure. We were lucky to get a spot up front. There's a side entrance where there may be parking in the back but I'm not sure if it's assigned to the restaurant. Definitely go early to grab a spot in the front.
Anyone know if the Sabrina's requires you to buy their orange juice, or can we bring our own? We'd like to make our own mimosas, and since it's BYO, we figured maybe they wouldn't care too much?

Does anyone know what the current special vegan option is? Are they still doing the special "Back to School" menu or is it something else now?
These questions would be best answered by the restaurant - just give them a call.
Does the restaurant prefer customers to open champagne/other alcohol bottles they brought on their own OR having the waitress/waiter do it for them?
I think it's fine either way. A lot of people bring beer so obviously you're going to open that yourself, and pretty sure when I brought champagne we just opened it. I'm sure they'll do it for you if you need an opener though.
